Norbert's is a wonderful place for residents! They provide excellent care to their residents and provide a family atmosphere. The staff are professionals and experienced as well. Staff have longevity and loyalty. The administration knows how to treat staff in return staff provide great care and want to do their jobs to the best of their ability. I highly recommend this facility for loved ones.

My parents have lived here for nearly a year and have received great care. During the recent monster snowstorm, I was impressed by the dedication of the staff, many of whom stayed at the facility to ensure that there would be an adequate number of team members to care for residents: much appreciated by this family.

When I had to make this tough decision, I didn’t know where to turn. You hear horror stories. I am so thankful to have found Norbert personal care home and the people who run it. My loved one isn’t just another room number, they actually form relationships with their senior living individuals. They truly care about the people who live in their homes and you can see and feel it. If you ever find yourself having to maw this tough decision, call Norbert before you call the big name senior living centers. You won’t get this kind of care and real human feelings from anywhere else, and there is no price tag you can put on that peace of mind.

My mother, Nancy, was a resident here for seven months. I can't say enough about the staff, cleanliness, and support she received. The people that work there care very deeply for the residents. My mom is a resident at Norbert's in the Memory Care unit. It was a very difficult decision to make, but I am so relieved to know that she is being taken are of so well. The facility is so bright and clean and there are activities to keep her engaged every day. Like Louise told me when I toured, I can go back to being her daughter, and I am so grateful for that.

Our mother was a resident at Norbert's personal care for years. We are forever grateful for the love, respect and care given to our mother by the staff at Norberts, for they treated our mother as if she was their own. Staff members, whether assigned or not, always frequented her room whether it was just for a high-five and or just a check in to make sure that she was attended to. We are thankful we chose Norberts Personal Care over any other facility. A huge thank you to the staff for all the love, kindness and attentiveness you gave our mom. My father received good care at Norbert. He resided there for almost 2 years before passing away in January 2021. Beware of the owner of Norbert, however. After I had my father’s belongings removed, the owner declined my request to refund the security deposit, asserting it was a nonrefundable Community Fee under the resident contract. After being presented with Norbert’s own intake documentation to the contrary, the owner pivoted, claiming for the first time that Norbert was entitled to retain the funds to repair extraordinary damage to my father’s room (which was patently false) and to cover the costs of staff who merely facilitated the removal of his belongings (due to Norbert’s Covid protocols). I filed a complaint with Pennsylvania’s DHS licensing agency. The agency concluded that the owner violated its resident contract by refusing to issue a refund and now requires Norbert to undergo bi-annual audits of its resident contracts.

Very clean. They are doing so much right now to keep everyone safe. They are social distancing, having meals in room and also began vaccinations which gives much peace of mind during this time.

This facility is incredible. I can't say enough about the caring staff. During the Covid crisis, they have gone above and beyond to keep everyone safe. They have given so much of themselves and it is greatly appreciated. They are all warm and friendly and will do anything to assist you. The activities are great and well planned out. The administrator, Janet and her assistant, Lorraine are wonderful and strive for excellence. I really think they have achieved that. If you are considering a place for your loved one, look no further...this is the place!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone!!!!

I was very satisfied with the care my mother received. The staff acted very professionally and treated the family with dignity and respect. I enjoyed this place so much that I am going to volunteer even though my mother is no longer there. Thank you very much for a job well done. God bless!!!

Judy is a stellar organizer for the home. We volunteered to sing there for Christmas and was well received. They all seemed like family. Judy really does up the Holiday decorations, and makes it a comfortable space to be in. Such lovely people, for sure.

We were highly satisfied with the staff and facilities at Norbert. It is never an easy decision to put a loved one in a personal care facility, but the people at Norbert made us feel very secure in our decision. I would highly recommend this place.
