I can’t say enough about the staff, facility, and environment at Discovery Commons Bethel Park. From our first visit, Mary, Jenn, Haley, Dyana, Tyra, Patty, Hardy, Bridget, Anne, Steve, Diane, and the healthcare staff have been incredibly welcoming and supportive. My mother and late father have been very well cared for, and I enjoy connecting with staff and residents each time I visit.

Honestly moving my mom into person care was terrifying, but Discovery Commons made it a lot easier on our family. Jenn the ED is so warm and welcoming, and Mary in marketing was a lifesaver when we were first touring and losing our minds with a million questions. the whole nursing team has been incredible since. They are so patient, attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care . And I have to give a huge shoutout to Haley and Patti in activities! They bring so much fun and energy into the building every day and really keep everyone smiling and involved. Couldn’t be more grateful

Discovery Commons has such wonderful staff, they took great care of my mom, and treated her with love and dignity. The management went above and beyond by helping me understand my mom's dementia, allowing me to attend classes on dementia, as well as find a caregiver support group. I felt my mom was safe and well cared for, while I received the support and care that I needed. I highly recommend this facility.

My mother has lived in this facility for about 2-1/2 years. Discovery Commons has very modern facilities. The staff is friendly. My mother enjoys the activities. The medical staff has been very helpful with the numerous times my mother has required help. Since every day there are a number of meal options, my mother can always find something that suits her.

From the day our family member moved in, the staff has gone above and beyond to make sure every day feels full, joyful, and engaging. What truly sets this community apart is how hard the team works to keep residents entertained and happy. The activities calendar is always packed ” live music performances, games, art sessions, fitness and wellness classes, and group outings into town. There's genuinely always something to look forward to, and the staff puts real heart into every event. You can tell the team doesn't just go through the motions. They know each resident by name, pay attention to what brings them joy, and create moments that spark laughter and friendship. Our loved one has made new friends, picked up new hobbies, and is more active and social than we've seen in years. The chef-prepared meals are delicious, the community is spotless and welcoming, and the care is attentive and compassionate around the clock. My aunt is here and the card she is receiving has been nothing but excellent. Every time I arrive they greet me. And are always so sweet. When I walk in to see my aunt her room is so tidy, she looks happy, and she’s so well taken care of. I am so happy my family chose to to have my aunt in her late years of life.

I can’t say enough good things about this senior living community! From the moment we first toured the facility, I felt such a sense of peace and comfort knowing my grandma would be in great hands. The entire place is incredibly clean and well-maintained, you can tell the staff takes pride in keeping it that way. Speaking of the staff they are truly wonderful. Every person we’ve interacted with has been kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They take the time to get to know each resident and always greet my grandma by name with a smile. I love how they make her feel seen and valued. Another thing that makes me feel so good about having her here is the variety of activities they offer. Whether it’s game nights, art classes, exercise programs, or special events, there’s always something fun going on to keep her engaged and social. It’s been so nice to see her making new friends and staying active. Knowing she’s in a place where she’s safe, happy, and well cared for has brought me and my family so much peace of mind. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a loving, clean, and vibrant place for their loved one.

My dad was taken care of very well in his 4/12 years as a resident. Most of the staff was very attentive to him and they tried to meet all of his needs. Many of them went above and beyond. Of course, there are always some things that can be improved, but I know especially in these last months that they are working very hard to make positive changes and it shows. The director, administrative staff, the front desk, housekeeping, (thank you Diania) maintenance and all the people who took care of my dad were all very kind. A hug, a smile and kind words meant everything to my dad. I was so appreciative of that. My father recently passed away and I feel like I am leaving my Sheridan family because that’s how it felt. We were a family. Thank you to everyone for all of their hard work and dedication. I will miss you all.

The Sheridan has taken wonderful care of my grandparents over the past year. The staff is all very friendly and welcoming. I love that there are always fun activities and outings planned for the residents, I have attended many family events so far! When I stop to see my sister who works in the administrative offices, the staff is always very polite. The staff can often be seen doing activities with the residents and making sure they’re being taken care of. It is a beautiful community and everyone always has a smile on their faces.

My mom was a resident at the facility for a year. The staff and administrators treated her like she was a Queen even though at times she could be difficult. When it was time for her to transition into Hospice, the facility made it easy for the family. Hospice who they recommended was superb. I would recommend The Sheridan at Bethel Park to everyone.

The Sheridan at Bethel Park took outstanding care of my mother during her time as a resident. My mom at times needed extra special care due to her age and her having Covid. The staff workers and nurses went far beyond their duties for my mother. Also, there were many fun activities that she always enjoyed. She met many friends while there. I can't thank The Sheridan enough for their care with my mother.
