Hi, If you are looking at reviews, then you have started the sometimes difficult decision of where should my parents live, as you are realizing that staying in their home is not working anymore. I visited 5 locations and took them to see the 2 that i felt met all our needs. I wanted their input even though they kept saying they were fine living at home. As a loving child, I could see they were not fine at home. We chose Brookdale and I would recommend them over and over again! The entire staff from the desk help, aides, nurses, maintenance help, servers in the dining room, and administrative staff ,work together and make everything great for their residents. My parents have been at Brookdale for two years and have enjoyed many of the activities, bingo, parties, musical concerts, swimming and hanging out in the courtyard. I like visiting them and i think that says a lot! Nice senior community. very happy with our choice.

I came to Brookdale in January, 2023 and have no complaints. I lost my wife in 2021, we had no children, and I have a younger brother. I turned 90 this past April. The residents and staff are my friends and relatives. I have been favorably impressed by the congeneality of both the residents and staff members right from the start. I believe the friendliness and respect for each other starts at the top with our Executive Director. Marcia McAlpine, and the staff follows her leadership. With the residents overwhelming satisfaction we have a happy home.

We moved our mom into Brookdale 1 math ago. We started with a list of 20 places in the area, narrowed it to six, then 2. Brookdale was a CLEAR winner. Although she was nervous and VERY apprehensive about leaving the home she lived in for 50 years, she is now truly is like a new woman; walking around confidently, welcoming new residents to the community, and keeping herself engaged every day!

I worked at Brookdale, then the Devonshire, just when they opened. In fact, they were just finishing building it when I was hired. I was the "Engineering Manager". I cannot begin to tell you how poorly that place was run. Like one of my co-workers said: "it was like a big shiny car, looked great on the outside but open the door and you will find torn seats, dirty floor mats and a car that barely runs. Very bad experience for me, regret every minute I worked there. They, and the staff at Brookdale's corporate offices, are masters of micro-management.

My grandmother has had a wonderful experience at Brookdale Mt Lebanon over the past year +! She enjoys the planned & spontaneous activities and how well-kept the entire building is. She always tells me how attentive each of the managers and staff are, and how they each genuinely care and respond to the residents really well. I've notived this during all my visits, too! Amd the Dining team is incredible! Thank you all!

I wanted to share my personal experiences with Brookdale Mt. Lebanon. We moved my father in law into Independent living and my uncle into assisted living there and Its the best thing we have ever done for their safety, Health and well being. I cannot say enough about the smooth admission process with Kim and the excellent care they are both receiving from nursing to the caregivers Both of them are eating more ( the food there is second to none!) and becoming more social ! Brookdale has treated them like VIP's from day one. My family and I feel so at peace and we are confident we made the right decision for them. Thank you team Brookdale!

We have two family members that currently reside at Brookdale Senior Living in Mt. Lebanon. One is in an Independent living apartment and one is in an Assisted living apartment. Our family is extremely happy with the excellent care that our family members receive from the staff at Brookdale Mt. Lebanon. Each level of staff expresses their care and concern for all residents.. from management, front desk workers, activities personnel, nurses, aids, food service, maintenance, etc. The people that work here truly want to help the residents feel comfortable and feel cared for. We feel blessed to have such wonderful people be a part of our loved ones lives. The staff really gets to know the residents and they look out for them. They also try to bring smiles and fun to each day!

Brookdale is an A-List Senior Residential Center. Staff are dedicated, skilled and kind. My mom loved the food -- she gained 6 lbs while she was there, which was a good thing. I wish I could have convinced my mom to make this her permanent home. She wanted to go back to her actual home...but maybe someday she will be a permanent resident of Brookdale.

A true testament to Brookdale is having the current residents stopping to tell us what a wonderful community it is to live in. Brookdale meets all of my parents needs and wants. My family made the decision to move my Mom into Brookdale in November 2019. We could not be happier with our selection. Everyone in the community was so welcoming from the moment she got there and made her feel" taken care of" as she said in her own words. The staff is unbelievably caring and responsive to every question or request that I have had. I have had meals in the dining hall with my Mom several times and the residents all tell me how happy they are at Brookdale and how nice everyone is. I highly recommend Brookdale if you are considering a senior living community for your loved one. It is exceptional!!!
