I wanted to share my personal experiences with Brookdale Mt. Lebanon. We moved my father in law into Independent living and my uncle into assisted living there and Its the best thing we have ever done for their safety, Health and well being. I cannot say enough about the smooth admission process with Kim and the excellent care they are both receiving from nursing to the caregivers Both of them are eating more ( the food there is second to none!) and becoming more social ! Brookdale has treated them like VIP's from day one. My family and I feel so at peace and we are confident we made the right decision for them. Thank you team Brookdale!

We have two family members that currently reside at Brookdale Senior Living in Mt. Lebanon. One is in an Independent living apartment and one is in an Assisted living apartment. Our family is extremely happy with the excellent care that our family members receive from the staff at Brookdale Mt. Lebanon. Each level of staff expresses their care and concern for all residents….. from management, front desk workers, activities personnel, nurses, aids, food service, maintenance, etc. The people that work here truly want to help the residents feel comfortable and feel cared for. We feel blessed to have such wonderful people be a part of our loved ones lives. The staff really gets to know the residents and they look out for them. They also try to bring smiles and fun to each day!

This place is the absolute best my mother Kathy is here & all the staff have been nothing but the best they are so caring & professional you can tell everyone here really cares for the residents they all go above & beyond for your loved ones care & safety. I can't recommend this place enough if you or if you are thinking of a transition for your loved one this place is not only safe, friendly & most important you can tell everyone here loves what they do that shows in there care for the residents. This place is hands down the best I'm so happy my mom is here & she is too.

Ive lived at Brookdale Mt Lebanon for 10 years. My husband and I moved in because he was ill. He passed away within 3 months. He liked it and its a shame he didnt get to enjoy it. Ive never regretted moving here. I have 3 daughters that are thrilled that I am here. I get 3 meals a day, activities daily, and no worry about home maintenance, yard work, or snow removal. I have had a wonderful experience and would recommend it to anybody to move in; just dont wait too long!!!

I wanted to share my recent experience with Brookdale in Mt. Lebanon. I was orchestrating a move for my mother from Connecticut to Brookdale on a pretty tight timeline. Everyone from Brookdale was so accomodating and helped me close every open loop. Kim, who originally arranged for the lease, stayed involved in every step, from helping me with furnishings, coordinating move logistics during Covid and making sure I knew exactly who to speak to about every question or concern. In addition, the nurse, Christina, was a wealth or knowledge and patiently worked thru the care plan from afar with my family and mom via zoom and many calls-emails.Finally, Anne who runs the special services group helped augment the care plan where needed with a keen eye toward making my mom comfortable without adding services that we did not need. Sadly, after all this tremendous coordination and the best laid plan, my mother refused to leave her home. When I reached out to Brookdale thinking that they are going to be so upset with me, I was met with nothing but concern from Kim for me and my family as well as offers to help in anyway. I am more hopeful than ever that my mom will make the move to Brookdale and that when she does, she will be in just the right place.

My family made the decision to move my Mom into Brookdale in November 2019. We could not be happier with our selection. Everyone in the community was so welcoming from the moment she got there and made her feel taken care of as she said in her own words. The staff is unbelievably caring and responsive to every question or request that I have had. I have had meals in the dining hall with my Mom several times and the residents all tell me how happy they are at Brookdale and how nice everyone is. I highly recommend Brookdale if you are considering a senior living community for your loved one. It is exceptional!!!

My mom recently came to Brookdale of Mt. Lebanon at an uncertain time in her life needing some extra care with medication management and general daily checkins. She quickly has made new friends and has enjoyed many of the daily activities thanks to the welcoming and outgoing, friendly staff at Brookdale.I have celebrated two big holidays at Brookdale and enjoyed the festive setting and delicious meals that were served.Every time I have visited Brookdale I have witnessed a level of care for my mom that has far exceeded my expectations. Everyone on staff from the people working the front desk to the custodians, wait staff, and skilled nurses, one thing is clear...everyone is compassionate, sincere, and truly loves their job. Everyone is always welcomed and treated with dignity and respect. Even dogs! Living out of state and away from my mom there is constant worry that is associated with an aging parent. I am grateful to the entire staff and healthcare providers who are there for my mom and the other residents faithfully providing superior, quality, kind, skilled care and attention.I hold Brookdale in the highest regard for their compassionate philanthropy and how they manage Brookdale Senior Facility of Mt. Lebanon.I will continue to spread the word about Brookdale and speak highly of the quality of care residents receive when choosing to make Brookdale their home. Thank you.

Employee review: ok so hands down the job ant bad its just theres to much of the blame game going on I kept getting blamed for stuff that was ether someone elses fault or things that where out of my control and hr and management looked a blind eye to if it wasnt for that Id actually say it was a good place to work at but it wasnt for me I dunno maybe your experience may differ

Brookdale is a beautiful, accommodating independent community. The residents seem friendly, the food is reportedly excellent, and the location is central to so many places and families in the south hills. We did not choose Brookdale, mainly because it is further than a competitor right in our neighborhood. The staff seemed informed and helpful. Thank you for the support and information.

Only a few of the rooms have walk-in showers. The pool has a chair to help people in and out. They have a therapist office on the third floor. They only offer two meals a day.

I toured this community for my mom's care. The staff was helpful in showing me the community that was clean and maintained. We liked the menu of the variety of meals. They had nice rooms, but my mom wanted a bigger size room for comfort. The community I would recommend for families to tour for care
