The Philadelphia Corporation of Aging has a fantastic Meals on Wheels food delivery program, and the program’s personnel are the greatest! March 26, 2026 As an addition to my above review, l would like to mention that PCA’s food delivery program did not miss a beat during the inclement weather we had this past January and February. In spite of the severe snow storms, l did not experience any delivery disruptions regarding my regularly scheduled meals. My usual delivery driver, Roscoe, is reliable, professional, and conscientious. Lastly, he is one of the nicest individuals I’ve ever met.

When my mom had a surgery, it was a tough time for me to both manage work and take care for her. I tried to find HHAs but my mom didn’t feel comfortable with the random HHAs. Thanks to Caregiver Support Program and Home-deliver meals offered by the PCA, my mom could stay in her home and being helped by her chosen caregiver. I feel so relieved now when i go to work. The PCA staffs are very nice, polite and helpful. They will give you advice what program that fit for you or your beloved ones. Thank you for everything, PCA!

PCA has some great programs for the elderly in Philadelphia that we didn't know existed. Such as meals and home modification programs to help the elderly. Our Grandparents care manager is responsive, attentive, professional and helpful. The same could be said for their original care manager, both great.

What an Amazing Experience!! A friend of mines was in need of assistance for a broken appliance. I spoke at length with Maryanne from PCA on 5-17-24, who gave detail specific directions to follow. And on Tuesday 5-21-24, after following all steps, an appointment was set with Michelle from The South Philadelphia Senior Ctr; and By God's Grace and the Professionalism extended the appliance will be replaced. Thank You Maryanne!!

Difficult to get the same person to talk with. Do not respond to voice msgs. or emails. They seem overwhelmed, understaffed and ineffective against institutions whether corporate nursing conglomerates or the government.

Tan and Samira have been most helpful to my Dad. He is 92. They arranged for him to have someone come by and check on him two hours a day. I was told it could take up to 4-6 months for services to start. You had it start the next week! Thank you so very much.

The service with this agency is and has been horrible since i started dealing with them. Rhe Service Coordinator assigned to my mother does not return phone calls promptly, and is always on the defensive. I had an appt. today at 2:30pm, and the Coordinator has yet to arrive and/ or call me to advise a delay. My mothers care has been held up because of this.
