i was a former resident . This home is not real nice and the price that they charge the poor residents that do no live here is a RIP OFF. the medical serves where bad . i did try to get out of here and move into a studio apartment with the help of Life Pittsburgh for my house keeping and to take care of my transportation and to mange my meds. However the doctors stated that it was unsafe for me to life by myself in a apartment. before i moved into the first personal care home. i was doing things for myself besides my house keep and cooking i did get food brought to me. i took care of my income and i paid my parents while they where living rent and i paid my co pays for the doctors and meds i went to all of my doctors visits by myself and i shopped for my food by my self after my parents past away the house where i lived at was to be sold so a case worker did try to put me in a studio apartment with the help of cross roads to do my house keeping and laundry then she got sick and had to retire and a new case worker took over and came up with that i should move into a personal care home to have THINGS DONE FOR ME. i never was seen by a doctor or tested to see if i need to be there but the home had a opening and i did not want to end up in a home less shelter so i moved there when i moved into there my income was taken away from me with out me knowing about it and given to a rep payee i never singed a paper for them to do this. or i would have never have moved into there i would have went to the home less shelter. when i moved to rose manor. the medical doctor tagged me as a fall risk because i feel into a pot hole in the parking lot at the other personal care home that i lived at and the was held PRISONER and not able to leave the home alone. because i spoke up because i felt that i did not belong here the doctor put me on a med called Depakote the med treats people that are SKITZO and CRAZY .I never was told that i was taking this med or what it was for until i found out about it and i looked it up with my internet and i did quit taking it. while i lived here i was accused of looking at child porn because i bought a baby doll because she looked like the one that came when i did not feel good and made me fell better. my internet was cut off but some one did tell me that i did nothing wrong by having a baby doll. I was sent to the hospitals E..R Dep, to get 302 but i was told that i was ok. so i did call the pa department of ageing and i reported to when what had happen to me. when the home owner and staff found out what i did i was given at 30 day notice to get out of rose manor or they would have me arrested. i almost ended up in a group home or a rehab school before i came to where i am at now. i am doing better now that i am living here and off of the p meds rose manor is for residents that are in there 70 s 80 s or 90s and do not care about where they are at if your loved ones are under 70 years old please do not send them to rose manor this place is real bad take care of your self.

the only good thing about this place that it is clean but this home is for residents that are in there 80s and upper 90s that have a lot of health issues and do not undeststand what is going on with them the people that work here do not stay long and the medical care is real bad i was tagged as being menily inconvenience by the house medical doctor . they took my S.S.A checks without me knowing about and left me with $50.00 and i am told what to do with i staff and office people do not like me because i did complain about the way i am being treated this place is for residents that do not care about what is going with them and are quit the staff wants you to sleep all day and do nothing but be quit please do not send your love one here this place is not nice and it is bad and not worth the price to live here

A current resident who placed a review on google received over 6000 dollars in free care. He never paid. It is great to have family members work at the facility. They hold each other accountable and turnover is very minimal. Victoria Manor provides excellent care. I have had multiple friends have their parents at this great moderately priced personal care home.

We are very happy with the care that Our aunt receives at Victoria Manor. The facility is older but quaint. She is always clean and her belly is always full. She feels very safe here. The staff is extremely helpful, attentive, and truly dedicated. We are always kept up to date with any changes.

Initially a safe place should you need a place for a loved one. Currently, would not recommend.

Just put my grandma into a home here! Staff are extremely friendly. Always have staff and other residents socializing with my grandma! They have bingo and other game nights! I would recommend so far!

This has been a great place for my aunt! The staff are helpful and kind. She loves the food and activities and she's safe there.
