The worst place ever. Absolutely do not place a loved one here. My mother was a resident here and received the most horrendous treatment. I reported them to Department of Welfare 3 times. Her being there was the worst mistake ever.

I am the Admissions Director at Rhodes Estates in New Castle. We also have Northview Estates in Ellwood City. It is a wonderful organization to work for! I even assisted my father in placing my grandmother at Northview Estates. Being able to see her daily and knowing she is getting the best care gives my family a piece of mind!

Judy Both my parents are residents at the Rhodes Estate; one is in the dementia wing and the other is in the assisted living area. It was the most difficult decision I have ever had to make, and each time the staff at Rhodes could not have been more caring and helpful in making the transition for them easier. The staff is like family; they love and respect my parents and my parents love them. Its very difficult to have a family member with dementia, but knowing Mom is safe and secure helps me to rest at ease. My parents are from New Castle, however I am not, but I we drive in 2 days a week to visit and sometimes participate in the activity or entertainment that is provided daily in both the dementia side and assisted living side. I appreciate the fact that there is a place like this and that I did not have to place my parents in a nursing home. Thank you all for loving my parents. 21 hours ago

As a Home Health Director and RN of 32 years, Ive been in many care homes. The facilities and staff at Rhodes are beyond compare. They treat the residents like their own family and take exceptional care of the residents. The memory care unit is one of the best in the area. The residents there engage in activities with the music therapist and recreational therapist. I highly recommend Rhodes Estates for your loved one.

Every time I visit, all the residents that I interact with always seem to be happy. It is a welcoming facility with a helpful and caring staff. Would recommend to anyone.

My mother has been a resident at Rhodes Estates for 8 months. The staff has made the transition from home to Rhodes very caring and helpful. Mom enjoys her meals and all the social activities. The nursing staff is very attentive and supportive. Her room is cleaned weekly, while the surroundings are cheerful. Rhodes provided a beautiful Mothers Day brunch for the residents and their guests. There is always some type of craft or entertainment several times a week for the residents and their guest. We thank you for the great care and support while making mom fill at home,

The staff here is great and very informative. My loved on is getting around great. My loved one did express that she felt that there were not enough people that were on her level and that she could talk to. The activities director suggested that my loved one get involved with some of the activities. The food is good and my loved one likes it.
