Harmon House offers a complete package of senior living and care services. Our residents are independent seniors who need a little help sometimes. We are a private, peaceful property located in Mount Pleasant. Residents appreciate the short distance to local attractions, activities, and events. How can someone be discharged one day and the very next day they are admitted with acute dehydration and instead of getting a patient up to the bathroom they put a diaper on them!

Excellent new team in place - in all departments! Harmon House has significantly improved over the past 2 years. Residents are happy/well taken care of, employees are appreciated, the building is clean, the nursing department is agency free, and the positive atmosphere can be felt from the moment you walk through the door!

I have been an Employee with Harmon House for the last three years. I have worked as a nurse at some of the worst nursing facilities in the surrounding areas and can honestly say that Harmon House staff take pride in there care that is provided to each and every resident. I have also had family being cared for at Harmon House and they provided exceptional care. Nowhere will ever be perfect but we always strive to be! I'm proud to say I work here!

Hi everyone—As most of you know I'm In Harmon House. I'm more than satisfied with the accommodations.The care is good and the CNAs,RNs and LPNs are well trained and professional. I would like to tell you about an incident I observed. On a Sunday one of the residents had tripped and fell injuring the right shoulder. The staff arrived quickly and evaluated the situation. There was a Nurse,Gabby 2 CNAs,Tommi,and Julie. Very quietly they got her BP and examined her. There was not much talking,, they knew what to do. They were very proficient in handling the situation. They used a Hoyer Lift and got the resident in bed. The supervisor was called and she notified the doctor. They worked as a team. Maybe our government should take a lesson from them. These young ladies need to know that they are appreciated. Too many people hasten to complain about their care. They think they are the only ones that need care. So if you are ever in a situation such as this, please give much deserved praise to these caretakers.

I worked in a lot of nursing homes and Harmon House is the best. They have made tremendous strides to improve the resident's quality of life. My loved one stayed at the Harmon House. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The facilities were clean. The activies were enjoyable for the residents. She was very comfortable there. The staff was very knowledgable. There was a particular CNA, Jodie Myers, whom she loved, that treated her with dignity and kindness. I would highly recommend this facility.

The staff and nurses are amazing!! Both times my dad was in there, he was taken care of very well!! The day he passed away, they all were very comforting to me and my family. They also helped me out with calling the local funeral homes and getting things ready for him!! I recommend this place to anyone!! They also have a wonderful rehabilitation center for their residents also!!!
