My Mom has been at Arden courts for 16 months now and she is very content with her home here surrounded by wonderful staff. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am to everyone and also how happy I am to know my Mom is in good hands. Edna and Angel are excellent caregivers along with many others. Katie, program director, goes above and beyond everyday to make sure residents are included and participating in activities and entertainment. Always smiling. Marie, art activities director, is dedicated to the arts program, always helping and assisting the residents to create arts and crafts projects. Marie is always smiling and laughing with the residents. Lastly I would like to mention the nurses, Kathrine in particular comes to mind because she has a beautiful smile and she is so caring and kind to the residents. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my Mom.

My mother has been at Arden for several years. When we first chose it, it was one of the only memory care "only" places in the area, which after looking at many places, we realized was a big advantage over multi-use facilities (I.e. assisted living and memory care). Her caregivers have been there for many years and are wonderful with the residents. But what truly sets Arden apart from other facilities is the activity staff. Run by Katie Morris, the activities at Arden are world apart from what I have seen at other places. The staff truly connects with the residents in a way I only dreamed still possible. From crafts, to trivia to simple chats, they bring out the best in all of the residents, whether high or low functioning. Katie and Marie, her assistant, are patient, interactive and involved, knowing each resident, how to calm them, redirect them and bring out the best in them. They are tremendous advocates and we are eternally grateful to have them in my mom's life.

She has been supporting our growing group (16 plus) for the last 5-6 plus years with educational programs and guest speakers each week. I have made friends and learned so much that has helped me with my own family and journey. It has been heartbreaking but I always leave laughing and smiling. She is truly the expert. I have recommended Arden Courts to my friends who have loved ones that need memory care help. We had an Elder care attorney come, the chief of police comes to talk about safety and even a doctor came. And Patrick Murphy the congressman came too! If anyone needs help with any kind of dementia education this is the group I recommend. The best part is that she makes us accountable for having self care. If I could give 6 stars I would!

My name is Tony and I am a volunteer that visits Arden Courts Yardley with my dog, Sadie. I visit multiple facilities and Arden Courts is by far the cleanest and most compassionate facility I have been in over the last 5 years while volunteering. The executive team of Sherri, Lou, and Jasmine are all both professional and knowledgeable about everything it takes to make your loved ones content and comfortable. The activity staff is hands down AMAZING! The activity director, Katie, is a rock star who is both tireless and so very creative. With the help of Marie and Brenda, they come up with awesome ideas to stimulate the residents. The nurses and aids are the most compassionate people I have seen in any facility. They treat the residents with not only patience, but with respect at all times as well. If I had a loved one that needed a memory facility this is the one that I would choose.

I referred my friends daughter to check into Arden Courts. I told her to come to memory cafe to meet Lori Weiss who is the facilitator of the memory cafe group in Yardley. I moved my Mom into Arden Courts Yardley 7 months ago after meeting with Lori Weiss. She walked me through the facility and introduced me to the staff of long term care givers, activity directors and Phyllis, the lead nurse. She answered all my questions and eased my concerns about moving my Mom to a Memory Care facility. Everyone is so kind and caring and my Mom loves it there. She feels at home. It's a warm comfortable facility and she enjoys the activities that they participate in daily. She also loves the food! Kudos to the Chef for preparing such good meals and desserts. I researched & visited six senior care communities trying to figure out which would be best for my mother. It was a hard decision because I was putting her care into the hands of someone else. My sibling & I wanted a place that specialized in memory care. The criteria we looked for were: longevity in the staff, the activities that had, the cleanliness of the facility, the ratio of staff to resident, & the knowledge of the staff running the facility. We chose Arden Courts at Yardley & couldn't be happier with our decision. The staff there has been wonderful & the care my mother has received is meritorious. They always have time to answer our questions & keep us informed of her care. When we first moved her there one of us was with her every waking hour, but we let the staff lead in her care. After a few weeks we could see could see how well she was cared for & felt good about our decision. Today we visit several hours a day & the staff continues to perform beyond our expectations.

So my last review was almost 4 years old and I thought it time to update my review. Fortunately, I am still thrilled with the care my mom gets at Arden Courts of Yardley. While it is not shiny and new like many other facilities in the area, I love the warmth of the staff. They are all very attentive and caring. Not only does she get excellent daily care, Sherri Hoffman the director always has an open door and when I have concerns they are addressed quickly. However, what truly sets Arden Courts of Yardley apart is the Activities people. Katie Morris, the activities coordinator and her assistants, Marie and Brenda are miracle workers. They manage to gather all facets of people on the Alzheimer's spectrum from the wandering, to high functioning, to people who just sit and listen and to bring out the best in all of them. When my mother entered Arden Courts four years ago, she was high functioning, and although she no longer is, they continue to help bring out the best in her every day. Our move to Arden Courts of Yardley has given me a great peace of mind and has helped me and my family cope with a very sad and stressful situation.

My dad has since passed but I have continued to volunteer at Arden Courts of Yardley because it is such a wonderful place. Having met with Lori Weiss, who ran down every single question, offered to talk to her competitors, and was as caring, considerate, and respectful to me and my family was incredible. She introduced the Executive Director Sherri Hoffman, who answered more questions. The staff is beyond reproach with an average employee working there over 12 years each. Lori Weiss and the Arden community she represents runs like a well oiled machine that is not comparable. I am thankful for the care my mother gets, and the information given when asked. So I am a regular at Barnes & Noble, Langhorne-I noticed that every Tuesday and Thursday a group would meet at 10:00 am. I finally met Lori, who is the head of this great group young at heart Seniors and she told me their story. Well I must say that II look forward to seeing them each week-these great individuals meet to to talk, vent, help others is their passion and they even have a puppy mascot LaLa. It has been months now and I have grown to just love these young Seniors and Lori and their story of love and friendship. Lori is a great person who you can just tell loves what she does and this great group that just keeps getting bigger. I look forward to see who I get to meet next week!! We all seem to forget the Seniors or dismiss them because of their age, remember we have a lot to learn from them as they have seen much worse than we have . Take time to listen and learn from them. Lori keep up the great work and mission to make our Seniors feel loved and important-you are the perfect advocate for these people and I know they love you for it.

After a terrible experience at another facility we are so relieved to have found Arden Courts Yardley. The most important difference is that our father is now in a safe and caring environment. The entire staff, from administration, nursing, caregivers and food staff are accessible to the family and loving and patient with the residents. My 92 year old mother moved from assisted living to Arden Courts of Yardley late last summer, and I have been so impressed with how kind and loving the staff at Arden Courts were with her. Mom passed away in the hospital last week, but in her last few months, the Arden Courts staff really got to know and appreciate her as an individual, and to make her her feel truly cared for. The physical layout of Arden Courts is designed to feel like a neighborhood of family homes, and I think that helped add to her comfort. Staff members answered my calls quickly and took time to talk to me in detail about Moms health and how she was adjusting to her new home. The staff also has done an excellent job of keeping the facility Covid-free while finding ways to facilitate porch and window visits. My sister and I will always feel grateful for how welcome they made Mom feel, and for the thoughtful care they took of her. We only wish we had moved her there sooner.

I have shared before my experiences with Arden Courts. I felt I should let others know what an exceptional place this truly is. From day one the warmth and kindness helped me feel taken care of immediately. You can see the level of education regarding dementia. This place gets it! They are not a new place that just looks nice. They have been there supporting the community all along. The care and support from the director Sherri to the caregiving staff they are available and ready to offer help. My wife recently passed from this awful disease that robbed her of who she was. Arden courts gave my wife dignity, love and the best care. The programs that kept her engaged gave her purpose. The meals were delicious! Six months ago I needed to move my mother from one memory care facility to another. My only reason for doing that had to do with the particular hospital she would be taken to an emergency. My only challenge was at the other place, had to do with dealing with the administration (incorrect billing and administrator never available, always in a meeting and constant turnover in staff). Then I moved her to Arden Court In Yardley. Wow what a difference! The staff at Arden seems to be more highly trained regarding appropriate interaction and care of such cognitive impaired residence. Also many staff members have been there for 10 years or more. The care, kindness, cleanliness, and opportunity for resident Activities is impeccable. Moving my mom was worrisome and no easy task. But now I am so glad that I did it so much better here!!

We placed my mother in Arden Court almost 10 months ago. It was a very difficult decision to make taking her out of her home that she lived in for 45 years but it is the best decision we made as a family. The staff is so warm and welcoming and made the transition so easy. The care givers treat my mother as if she is part of their family. Moving my mother to Arden Courts of Yardley was the best decision for her care that we have ever made. Prior to moving here, mom was living in an assisted living facility, which was a very bad experience. We debated about where to move her and toured many of the faculties in the area. I cannot be happier with our decision. From the moment we came to tour, Lori Weiss, the Marketing Director, put mom at ease and made her feel like it was her decision to move. The care that she receives is significantly better than anything I could have hoped for. The aides are caring and patient, and Erica, Colleen and the nursing staff are on top of the residents and their medical care and needs, The Katie, Jasmine and the rest of the activity staff keeps the residents engaged and active and make sure that people participate to the best of their abilities. Brian, the maintenance supervisor keeps the building in good shape and well maintained of and has also addressed my specific problems creatively and quickly. Finally, Sherri Hoffman, the Executive Director is fantastic. Her door is always open if have a problem or just need to talk. She addresses any issues (which are rare) quickly and is engaged with the residents, staff and family.In sum, our move to Arden Courts of Yardley has given me a great peace of mind and has helped me and my family cope with a very sad and stressful situation.

I cant say enough great things about Arden Courts!My mother has Alzheimers and needs to constantly walk. Arden Courts of Yardley is the greatest blessing because the layout of the building allows my mother endless freedom to walk until her heart is content. The staff is amazing! Other facilities failed at caring properly for my mom. Arden Courts is outstanding and able to handle the most difficult residents. My mother can be combative and a handful at times, but the staff is educated and skillful at diffusing bad dementia behaviors. I HIGHLY recommend Arden Courts of Yardley. From the first day he moved into Arden Courts, the staff has done everything in their power to help my dad adjust to his new reality. After four months with us and two fails at another facility (quite lovely but just not equipped to the level of his dementia), I was so worried about whether he would adjust. Not only has he settled well into his life at Arden Courts, I can honestly say that he is happy and engaged and doing so much better than he was doing living at home or with us. He enjoys the social time with the other residents and takes part in all of the activities. The Director of Activities is exceptional -- she cares so deeply for the residents and provides activities to keep them active and engaged. I am so thankful we found Arden Courts of Yardley.

Seven months ago, my father, 3 siblings and I were faced with a placement decision for our 94 year old wife-mother with Alzheimers. The individuals at Arden Courts of Yardley helped ease the pain of that difficult transition.. As each month passes, we cannot praise the staff enough for the love and care they continue to show to ALL of us. Everyone - the Director, Marketing Rep, Nursing staff, Caretakers, Activities personnel, Kitchen staff - is truly gifted with that special touch needed to care for patients with memory loss. The setting is home-like and safe so that residents may move about as desired, and-or participate in specialized activities. We have fully placed our trust in the Angels who perform the difficult tasks that we could no longer do for our loved one. They have become family to us as we now have the privilege of spending quality time with our wife-mother each and every time we visit.

The staff at Arden Courts are exceptionally compassionate, patient and professional. I am amazed at how sincerely caring they treat my father and my entire family. Having him leave his home and move to a residence has been difficult, at best, for all of us. But thanks to the kindness of the nurses, aides and administrators at Arden, my father was made to feel safe, cared for and welcome within a few short weeks. He has developed meaningful relationships with staff and residents alike, and looks forward to returning home whenever we take him on an outing. I credit management with creating a pleasant and positive work environment for all staff, who reflect their job satisfaction consistently in their miraculously benevolent treatment of all residents. I cant say enough about how grateful my entire family is to Arden Courts for taking such good care of our Uncle Bob. Our Uncle was a man who was always in charge of his world and took excellent care of his wife and son. He lost his wife a number of years ago and there was a marked difference in him which gradually became more obvious when his son recently died. We didnt recognize his anger, agitation lack of attention to important things as dementia. We assumed it was depression. He was very difficult to deal with and would become angry at help being offered. When he was finally diagnosed with dementia and Arden Courts was recommended to us by Abington Hospital, we didnt know how it would go because he had runaway from another facility twice and was belligerent and oppositional. How comforting it was when Lori Weiss, the director at Arden Courts assured us that this is what they specialize in: managing dementia patients medically, socially, and physically. She said it would take a few weeks but we would see a marked improvement in his disposition and happiness. We were hopeful, but nervous. How relieved we are now! Uncle Bob has made the adjustment with much personal attention from the staff at Arden Courts. He tells us every visit that the people are very nice to him and that he is happy there. He loves the excursions that Katie organizes with the residents. They go to restaurants, events, etc. He really looks forward to them. We enjoy our visits with him because he is not angry anymore, but is happy and content. We also appreciate that his hair is always cut, he is shaven and his nail are clipped. His room is always clean and has no bad smells. Arden Courts has taken all the stress of caring for our dear Uncle Bob away and we can enjoy him at his best. Thanks so much!
