I moved into Brookdale Grandon Farms 6 months ago and I have never been so comfortable and appreciated anywhere else. I was awarded the Secretary of Residence Council position. I love all the Staff and residents. After spending 11 years in a previous Senior Living Facility I was extremely unhappy there. Finally got the chance to move and I am so grateful to have chosen Brookdale community. Kudos to Allison, Ashlee and Sebrina for their constant encouragement and gentle assistance. Looking forward to many more years with this facility.

Choosing a place for my Mom was a sudden and rushed decision, which made an already difficult situation even more stressful. The team at Brookdale Grandon Farms, however, was a tremendous help in easing that transition. I especially want to thank Linda Ness, who was a great source of support and guidance throughout the process. What truly sets Brookdale Grandon Farms apart is that it feels more like a warm, welcoming community than a facility. Located in a cul-de-sac within a residential development, it has a cozy, house-like feel. The building is small, but roomy, which contributes to this comfortable atmosphere. I do wish they had a more formal onboarding process for both residents and their families, as not knowing what to expect can be one of the scariest parts of this experience. That said, they have been very prompt and satisfactory in addressing any concerns I've had. My Mom is settling in nicely, making friends, and is incredibly happy. I am so pleased with our decision and would highly recommend Brookdale Grandon Farms to other families.

After visiting many lovely Assisted Living Homes in the area, my sister and I immediately knew this was the perfect place for our mom. She is 95 and had lived in her home for 60 years, but she knew it was time to have more care. She has been here for a month now and has loved every day. The staff and the residents have welcomed her kindly and respectfully and have helped her acclimate well. We brought all her favorite things to make it feel like home and her room reflects what she loves about her family and friends. One of her favorite things right now is sitting outside on the beautiful front porch and seeing wildlife nearby. She is eating good balanced meals, enjoying the friends she’s made, and participating in the activities. Brookdale has been an answer to prayer for us!

Our family member has been living at Brookdale for about 6 months. He is well pleased, as are we with our choice of Brookdale Grandon Farms. Every single staff member that we have engaged with has been kind, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. Alison, Linda, and Maria just to name a few are wonderful people who take their responsibilities seriously, and they care very deeply about the residents. The environment is welcoming and friendly. I would recommend to others that are looking for a place for family members to set up a visit to their facilities' The director and staff are all friendly and are active with residents. They have a active program for all residents there. They have Mouthy meetings with residents and looking for ways to improve resident's lives. The facilities are clean and all aids are friendly and you can talk to them about your needs. all Meds are given on residents schedule's. They were a great help with my wife with her Parkinson disease while she was there. Thank you all for what you did, it was greatly appreciated.

My experience with Brookdale for my Father has been excellent. On October 2nd, a Wednesday, we decided my father had to change facilities because of various reasons. We had to move quickly due to Medicare time constraints. As soon as I spoke to Linda Ness, she had us come over for a tour. Once we decided on a room she moved swiftly to facilitate getting him transferred. Despite several hurdles during the process we had it accomplished by Monday, October 7th, to the credit of Linda's efforts. She had a van on standby on the 4th, but the facility we were dealing with was dragging their feet. During our tour we met with Allison the director, who assured us of her commitment to excellence and accommodating his needs. The Occupational Therapist, Leigh Ann reviewed his status, presented a therapy plan and has followed through. Denise, the Health and Wellness Director, interacts with my wife to answer questions. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters who are checking on Dad's progress as well as his sister and brother. My siblings have noticed him getting stronger and able to do more. This I attribute to the staff working with him. As in any new situation there is an adjustment period, but after a month at Brookdale he has transitioned to a new life scenario and I attribute it to the staff and the management's efforts and attitude.

We chose to move my 91 year old father at the beginning of October to Brookdale due to some issues at another facility. Linda Ness took extraordinary steps to assist in the move and transition. She was very communicative and proactive in getting it done on short notice. We had a tour of the accommodations that were available and the details were explained. Linda facilitated getting him transferred ASAP to his room. In addition, I met the administrative staff and was very impressed with their interest and acknowledgement of the issues we needed to address. The Facility Director, Allison made sure that we were aware that we had her complete support in the transition. Leigh Ann, the Occupational Therapist was very understanding of his limitations and the needs for PT and OT. She reviewed a plan for him and has followed up with it. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters that are checking on him regularly. In addition, his sister in California maintains contact with him. As in any large change there was an adaptation and adjustment period. However, after a month there his attitude, physical capability and satisfaction has been steadily improving to the point that I am getting positive comments from my siblings. My wife visits him several times a week and is working with Denise, the nursing supervisor, who always makes time to answer her questions. At this point we have nothing but positives for all the staff and the facility and would gladly recommend them.

My Mother has been a resident at Brookdale for a couple of years now. She is very happy with the facility, care staff, food and life enrichment opportunities they provide. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for assisted care living for their family member. The current onsite management is excellent and the Executive Director, Allison, puts a personal touch on what can easily become a corporate relationship. Thank you for the care you provide daily.

This place was very nice at first! I must say that the rooms were nice. So.e of the staffing and residents were very pleasant. After my mother was there for several weeks the food prep and menu became repetitive and not so good. I'm not sure what the problem was. Unfortunately my mother was only there four months before she passed away.

My mother's previous personal care home recently closed with very little notice. In our panic to find mother a new home Linda Ness at Brookdale Grandon Farms went out of her way to accommodate our needs. Everything about the facility is an improvement over her old home. My mother is much happier and healthier now, both mentally and physically. She had previously been showing signs of decline, but now she is excited to wake up to every new day. Much thanks to Linda and the rest of the staff at Brookdale Grandon Farms.

We greatly appreciate Deb Catalano, Sales Manager, who offered a thorough tour of a beautiful, assisted living facility for our mother and who guided us, step by step, through the financial aspects to assure us that Brookdale was affordable and would meet our mother's needs. The facility is clean, spacious and well lit. We enjoyed meeting other staff and some of the residents who were engaged in activities. Brookdale is an inviting, caring assisted living facility in a lovely residential setting.

My mom is in memory care there and they take very good care of her. She's always clean and well dressed and they have plenty of activities to keep her occupied. Dementia is hard for every family but they are very good at handling her. Yes, it's expensive but no more so than other facilities we visited. And the staff and facilities seemed so much nicer here.
