Kudos to Juniper Village: I’m thoroughly delighted and comforted by the care that my dear 94-year-old friend Mary has been receiving at Juniper Village. Being home alone would not offer her the comfort of those clean surroundings, accessibility to 3 healthy meals a day (with those snacks!), as much socialization as she cares to enjoy, offerings of wonderful entertainment (which I enjoy so frequently with her) and, of course, the constant access to monitored health care. The culture of this facility is so open, peaceful and cheery. As Mary’s P.O.A, I’m so glad that my queries to staff are always welcomed and never dismissed or trivialized. Our exchanges are always informative, thorough and direct . . . even when I need explanations more than once! I was especially heartened when I read Director Tami Williams’ Letter to the Editor which appeared in a recent edition of our Meadville Tribune. It voiced a heartfelt thanks to local emergency responders, numerous partnering agencies and services, Juniper volunteers and entertainers and closes with the warmest of Holiday Best Wishes! Cheers to Juniper Village at Meadville! I know we made the right decision for our loved one. I hope these revelations help you make one too.

My mother in law recently moved to the community. We are very pleased with the genuine care she has received. No place is perfect or like your own home, but Juniper has checked every box. It's affordable compared to other assisted living facilities in the area, it's safe, cozy and a nice place for her to socialize. It's a hidden gem that we are grateful to have found.

Juniper Village has been a blessing. We just wanted my mom and dad to be back home again, as they had lived out of state for over 10 years. I’ve been an employee since July 5 of this year. I absolutely LOVE what I do! I felt welcome immediately by the staff. Once I got to know the residents and they me, I felt even more welcome. The family feeling there is heartwarming. I’m so impressed with the professionalism by the staff. Juniper is very clean and well taken care of. The food is delicious and homemade. Juniper was the best place at the right time for my mother. As we entered the COVID 19 lockdown at the same time medical professionals were telling our family that mom needed assisted care Juniper was there. Mom's transition to Juniper was flawless. The management and staff at all levels made sure she was well cared for. While my mom would like to be on her own she fully understands she is in the best place possible at this point in her life. My Aunt was admitted in Jan 2021. This was a difficult time during Covid. The staff was wonderful. I could not take items to her room so staff had that job of making sure my Aunt got what she needed. I could do window visits and staff made sure she was there at the time I came. I just can"t say enough about staff . They were always pleasant and supportive. I have always been updated on everything regarding my Aunt. My Aunt never had anything but good things to say about staff and her enviroment at Juniper. I have let Administration know how pleased we all are with Juniper. My Aunts health is failing and again staff has stepped up with her care in making sure she looks her best and room is neat and clean. I would like to Thank every one involved. I would like to mention names but fear I may miss someone. So again a Big Thanks to all.. I would recommed Juniper to anyone interested in a caring and home like enviroment.

Amazing facility! I see posts all the time about the amazing summer events they have going on for the residents! They just recently did an outdoor concert, I thought juniper was just some old folks home but to see all the residents outside and moving to the music just smiling away was really heartwarming. My sisters and I are so grateful for the wonderful care my mom has been given at Juniper-Meadville. The staff including the kitchen staff have been very attentive and caring to my mom. Each and every staff member makes her stay at Juniper the greatest experience possible. The staff and residents make each resident feel like they are family. Since the virus we have not been able to see mom but the staff makes sure they help mom facetime us. They are very attentive to her needs like helping with her meds and hearing aids. They encourage mom to attend the various fun events that they have and even gave her a birthday party. If anyone who is reading this post is looking for a place to put a loved one, Juniper is the place. They are a #1 assisted living facility. The residents are treated with kindness, respect, affection and dignity. They are attentive to the needs of all of the residents and always ready to help, whatever the issue. The building is a terrific converted historic hotel and residents from the Crawford County area share wonderful memories of the facility when it was THE PLACE to stay in Meadville. I live an hour away and there is no other place where my mother would be cared for as well as she is here.

In early February, we had to find an assisted living facility for my 88-year old mother who suffers from dementia. We researched and talked to several facilities in Erie and Crawford counties, trying to find someplace that we would feel comfortable with if we were my mother, and ensuring her health and safety. Hands down, we kept coming back to one place - Juniper Village at Meadville. Brenton and Jennifer were very helpful in answering our questions promptly and providing us with information, as well as making us feel very comfortable when discussing this delicate matter. Mom was transferred from her rehab facility to Juniper Village on February 16th. At that time, she was very confused, extremely weak, not eating, withdrawn from her surroundings and others, and was in a wheelchair. Within 2 weeks after arriving at Juniper, she was very mobile using a walker/rollator, is eating most all of her meals, participating in activities AND has even said she really loves the associates, other residents and food at Juniper Village! She is a totally changed person...thanks to the care she is getting at JV. We are so happy with our decision to place mom at Juniper Village. We know she is well taken care of AND we know that she has accepted it as her new home (something no one ever expected her to do no matter where she would be)....and we can finally sleep well knowing she is so well looked after. Thank you, Juniper Village!
