My elderly father's been there 2 years. Every month they send me a bill I was so mad I called them up and said what is this $300 for and the guy said oh that's for taking him to his radiology well for one thing they shouldn't be tapping into my bank account without asking me this ride to the hospital five times a week should have asked me about taking the money out cuz they could have overdrawn my account. The guy says the bus was broken down I told him whose fault is that mine or yours. In my contract I read within 10 mi is allowed and so it's only 5.4 miles from Addison to Woodburn to St Mary's hospital. Is a lack of communication on their part telling me stuff about my father. Then they call me and I have to do their job by calling doctors and getting appointments and figuring things out on 3,000 mi away I can't be doing other people's job I'm retired. There is a little incident on my dad's arm the other day that someone caused and I never got notified know nothing might not mean nothing to them that but it should have been told to me I asked my father did the woman say sorry and he said no anyway I think they should have a back-up plan for when the bus is broken down it's not a very organized on doing things over there. It's all about money money. I am still waiting for them to get back with me they said that they would probably get back to me and which I thought was yesterday so we'll see if they'll get back with me today and discuss my issues other than the money issue taking money out of my account without consulting me or communicating with me very important to me. Other than that it's a wonderful place that my father loves

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Addison at Woodbourne Place and the incredible staff there. After my father underwent open heart triple bypass surgery, we were suddenly put in an extremely stressful situation when his insurance unexpectedly cancelled coverage at the rehabilitation center he was recovering in. I was frantically trying to find a safe, caring place where he could continue healing and regain his strength. From the very beginning, Bernadette stepped in and completely changed everything for us. She immediately made my father’s situation a priority, took an enormous amount of stress off my shoulders, and guided us through every single step with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. She handled everything so efficiently and made what could have been an overwhelming transition feel completely seamless. The entire staff at The Addison at Woodbourne Place has been beyond caring, attentive, and supportive throughout this process. It is obvious they truly care about their residents and their families. Knowing my father is surrounded by people who are patient, compassionate, and dedicated to his recovery has given me tremendous peace of mind during such a difficult time. I am deeply grateful to Bernadette and everyone at The Addison for the kindness and support they showed my family. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be genuinely cared for and treated with dignity and compassion.

My mother-in-law has been at Addison for 4 months now. She feels very comfortable and well cared for. The staff is delightful, caring and responsive. We are at ease knowing she is in a place that is safe and comfortable.

My father loves this place. The price is okay for all that they do there's a price increase as of January 1st and I can understand I thought it was a higher increase but now I understand everything so it's a wonderful place they take good care of the people in there. I would highly recommend it if you can afford it. They have a lot of fun things they do for the residents.. so if my dad is happy then I am happy that's all what it is about thank you Addison of Woodbourne

Hi there my father almost a year in September. The person that is the most wonderful human being that is in that place that makes it what it is is Mary the activity director she is amazing what she does for the people in there she puts the love and the care for each one of those people and goes beyond any human being can do. Lately this week I've been asking my dad where is Mary I haven't seen her. I hope she's okay or she is on vacation of some sort but without her being in that facility. She is amazing what she thinks of to keep the clients busy they'll never ever be another woman like her. She's kind and courteous and always thinks the best of everyone and I only met her 2 weeks that I've flown out there to move my father in. I hope this place realizes what a great employee they have and the love that she has put into each resident there my father just loves her and all the activities that she thinks of to do bingo and everything I hope this place gives you the credit that she deserves you don't find kind good human beings that care for the elderly anymore

My relative is a resident here. I’m impressed with the staff and director,Sherri. This is a small homey facility. Theresa makes delicious meals and always open to suggestions Mary keeps the activities going.cheering your local teams,holidays, special occasions, pet visits musical talent concerts painting puzzling bingo trivia. They listen to residents suggestions at monthly meetings. I would highly recommend this facility. Ignore old reviews from when Elivant owned it.

My experience when visiting Woodbourne was very nice. Staff was welcoming, the cleanliness of the building was to standard, the studio was very spacious and modern with its own kitchenette. They are pet friendly and affordable I have and will continue to recommend !!

I am so happy that our loved one has found a safe, friendly place to live. All of the staff are kind and patient and work well together. He loves the food and eats three meals a day with other people. The facility is clean and cheerful and the personal care is delivered with sensitivity and competence.

Woodbourne Place is a beautiful community that is clean and friendly! The atmosphere really gives you that at home kind of feeling. The staff here are very helpful and genuine if anything is ever needed. Above all they treat their residents with dignity and respect. The residents get the care they need and the families get peace of mind that their loved ones are being cared for.

This place was a great place, my parents lived there. Like I said..."was". If you want to really know how places are.... Sit in the parking lot and ask families when they're coming or going. I found that to be very helpful, because you're leaving your loved one in their care. Please think long and hard about going in this facility.

I came to tour this community as a professional in May. I felt the hospitality as soon as Sherri the administrator greeted me at the door! Both Betsy and Sherri made me feel like I was at home! They offered me a tour of this lovely homelike setting. I had the pleasure of meeting some residents who looked well cared for and happy! This smaller community is key for a more personalized approach to care with staff who know all of the residents. I love to see residents out and about engaged in their community and having purpose to their day. Best wishes to a fabulous community!
