Artis Senior Living has the most compassionate and caring staff. They are dedicated to caring for my mother and other residents in the most respective manner. They provide outstanding and enriching activities throughout the day, and early evening. Mom loved spa day, getting her hair cut, and gardening. During this Covid time, they have provided various opportunities for contacts and provide updates with mom. I treasure my window visits, and am reassured that she is receiving the best care. The extra scientific meadures they have taken to keep residents safe is greatly appreciated. Our family is very grateful for their tireless efforts on behalf of mom. Thank you!

My husband has been a resident at Artis for over a year. Before Covid, I would visit him every day. The staff at Aris became an extension of our family. He has received wonderful care from the staff and the food is exceptional. It has been a very trying time to be separated from him with Covid, but I have been in constant contact with the staff to receive updates. Artis is staffed with the most kind and compassionate caregivers. Tanya Bowersox stands out as one of the most caring and committed of the caregivers. For example, when the barber was unable to enter the facility, she took it upon herself to cut his hair. She knows my husbands personality and knows how to handle him with the utmost of patience. When I call in, she takes the time to put him on the phone and give me an update on his day. She is always willing to share a funny story that helps to sustain me through this difficult period of isolation. As difficult as it is to be faced with the decision to place your loved one in a care facility, it is very comforting to know that they are cared for by people that treat them AND YOU like family.

This is where I work. We are very conscientious about civil and all of us are tested as a precaution. The building is super clean and sanitized daily. And of course the food is amazing and comforting. Its all about the safety of our residents.

My mother-in-law has lived at Artis for 10 months. I am overly impressed with the way the team at Artis has handled her care both before and during COVID. The communication from the care partners, the nursing team, and especially Serenity, the Director of the Artis Way Experience, has been phenomenal. We, like everyone else, had so many concerns before she moved in. Since then, weve havent doubted our decision once. Thank you to everyone at Artis of West Shore for taking such good care of my MIL and every other resident.

My mother has been a resident of ARTIS in Lemoyne for a year. The staff has been amazing and as a result my mother has flourished. Even with dementia mom has thrived at ARTIS. Just yesterday I talked with mom and she had just come in from watering her tomato garden. She is much happier now than she has been for many years while in my care. I highly recommend ARTIS.

Artis is an amazing place; I wish they would let me move in. My wife Doriss experience has been excellent and she is better off being there than staying with me. I couldnt provide the steady stimulation and care that she receives from the staff which I consider to be my new family. I look forward to visiting her almost daily because there are activities we can participate in together. I enjoy eating supper with her 2 to 3 times a week which I would avoid if the meals werent well prepared.The buildings design has been well thought out to provide a home like atmosphere. Each of the four wings feels like its own neighborhood with a living room and dining room. And each wing has its own caring staff who are familiar with their 16 residentI find it somewhat frustrating in writing this review because it is difficult to convey in words the loving caring ambience of Artis. My father moved into this facility a few weeks ago due to his wandering and behavior issues. His dementia made it very difficult to place him.We were reluctant that the senior living center would be able to provide the necessary care for him, but we were VERY pleased with the quality of life they have provided. My father loves to be outside, and so the opportunity for him to walk around the grounds and back into the facility without actually leaving this facility, all while being monitored hourly, was an important factor In choosing Artis for his care.From the outside the facility didnt look all that impressive, but once we got inside, we saw that Artis was designed specifically to take care of the needs of dementia patientsWe are very happy we chose Artis, and or relieved that dad has finally found a new home.

My father lives in Artis Senior Living of West Shore. Its the third facility hes lived in over the past three years. Our experience with everyone, every single member of the staff, has been AMAZING. Hes well taken care of, clean, dressed, eats well, and cared for as if he was their dad. We cant say enough positive things about the time he has been there. The facility is always clean, the programs are tremendous and the outings fun and educational for the residents! I highly recommend it!!

Artis is a brand new senior living community dedicated to persons struggling with an irreversible dementia diagnosis. During my visit yesterday I observed the residents engaged in an activity and they all seemed content. This was in the evening when behaviors for those with memory impairment can sometimes be a challenge. The community is also immaculate. I would recommend to dementia caregivers in the Harrisburg-Camp Hill.
