I have been with the Heritage Ridge since August 2023.it was bought by Continuim Health Care in June 2023. I'am the HR/Staffing Coordinator. When I was hired, there were a ton of open positions for the Skilled side. Agency was being used for over half of the staffing. I have worked for 9 months and I can say that currently we are basically agency free. All of our open positions are currently filled. We have our own in-house staff. Heritage Ridge is one of the best places that I have worked. It's a nice, small home like facility. The staff are great and do an amazing job. The administrator and Director of Nursing are superb! I have watched this facility grow to some thing wonderful in not even a years time. If your looking for a great place for a family member, short or long term, look no further. You will find Heritage Ridge, clean, friendly and comfortable. I'am proud to be part of such a wonderful team.

Heritage Ridge, as far as I'm concerned, is THE BEST facility in the area to have your loved one placed. The nursing staff is caring and competent, the facility itself is clean and organized, and I have to give a shout out to Cassidy Keilman who made the application process smooth and seamless. I highly recommend Heritage Ridge at Johnstown to anyone who has senior-living placement needs.

I could not be more grateful. Mom's hip broke and she went here to the Lutheran Home for ~20 days after being released from surgery and the hospital. Even though they were understaffed at times (it's 2023, we all know), they STILL delivered a GREAT quality of care for her. She received appropriate rehabilitation to bring her home, too. All of the staff was kind, gracious, and helpful, both with my mother (who has dementia, no less), and with my family and our frantic questions and nitpicking (making sure she was appropriately taken care of). She WAS! I also thought the food was great, for the most part (I ate Mom's leftovers, daily). 3 of us visited her at different times daily; we KNOW she was treated WELL and appropriately; there was NO "sitting in her own waste" and such -- at least not for long periods of time. Was everything 100% perfect? No, but nothing is -- and we certainly won't be now that Mom's home, either. I'd still rather she be here compared to elsewhere if -- knock on wood -- the need arises again.

Broke my heart that my mom had to move out of her childhood home where she had literally been born, but the staff here are very kind and accommodating. I visited multiple facilities in the Johnstown area and am glad we decided to go with the Lutheran Home. The other reviewers on here may have had different experiences than I have, but I can only speak from my own experience and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place.
