DO NOT send your loved one to this facility. Upper management is unprofessional and deceitful, they are liars and put on a front so they can persuade you into coming out of your wallet for their overly expensive boarding fees. The ceo is money hungry and does not care about the safety and protection of the residents. All he wants is affluent individuals to make his facility look good. I was visiting my great aunt and a physical fight broke out on the dementia unit between the aides in front of everybody. They are rude to family members and to your loved ones and when they think you are not around they say bad things about the patients and the families. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anybody. It is also in a very DANGEROUS and high crime area where there is constant shootings and robberies.

My dad spent his last 14 months living at Homeland. From the time he moved in, he was made to feel at home and comfortable. During his time there he never had anything negative to say about being there and trust me, he still had his senses to him. I had little doubts that he would do more then sit in his room. How wrong I was. He could be found taking a walk around the ward, looking at the movies by the tv or in an activity. He would tell me how good the food was. I spent a good bit of time researching nursing homes and was very happy with our choice. The staff was always very kind and friendly towards us. Our dad just passed away 6/25 and at some point I'll go by to visit but for now I'll say Thank you to the staff. Your compassion means a lot.

At first I might have give a 3.5 rating, but looking back my mom's physical and mental health went steady down hill. She had fallen on a weekly basis. Overall do not recommend Homeland

I make my living as a musician playing at almost all the different adult communities in the Harrisburg area and this is one location I play for so many times I get to see behind the scenes. The care I see that these residents receive is 5 *. The staff is very accommodating and really care for the people they help. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that needs Assisted Living.

Homeland in opinion would be the place I would go if in need of care. They really strive to bringing personalized attention to every resident in my observation.I would highly recomend Homeland.
