If you are looking for an assistant living facility, I highly recommend that you check out Michaux Manor. We recently moved my Dad in and he is transitioning so well with the staff and residents. The facility is very clean and organized with all meals being home cooked food. All the staff have been so kind and helpful to us and my Dad. Our only regret is that we did not hear about them sooner. Thank you for all you do!

Michaux Manor is set up beautifully and everyone is very nice. My mother has been difficult, but they have been trying to deal with her the best way possible. I would definitely recommend them. She's in a private room and it's large enough for her to have her queen-sized bed, one nightstand, recliner, and dresser. The community is located in the mountains, so the location is a little bit out of the way, but it's a beautiful drive. I like that it's not off of a busy road unlike other places, because she had tried to leave one night and it would have been dangerous. The food was fine, and my mom hasn't complained about it at all.
