Recently my husband and I had the opportunity to meet Mike Buggey, Sales manager at Brookdale, and tour the facility. Mike is wonderful - so knowledgeable and helpful. He is a calming presence and made us very comfortable during a stressful time. The facility itself is beautiful! If you are searching for a home for a loved one, you should definitely consider Brookdale. As soon as we were buzzed in, we noticed the calm atmosphere. Life seemed as if it was dialed down a notch with residents and staff using quiet voices and not rushing around - sure to influence fellow patients. The building itself is very bright with plenty of natural light and nicely decorated. The rooms seem to be spacious and well appointed - clean and neat. We appreciated the security at Brookdale and we loved the enclosed outdoor court yard where residents were able to safely visit and enjoy the outdoors. As we walked through the building, we noticed many patients actively enjoying planned activities.. Although our first impressions were very positive, unfortunately, due to personal reasons, we were unable to place our loved one there at this time. However, we urge you to investigate and consider this facility if the time comes when you need to find a safe, welcoming community for your loved one.

I am so happy that we choose Brookdale for my mom. It is a small and personable place. They look after her and make her feel that she is important to the Brookdale family. So many activities for her to participate in. She eats so well also. Great staff and a blessing to all the residents.

Recently my loved one had a medical event. I was promptly notified, and my daughter and I arrived shortly. The staff attending him were wonderful. When he needed assistance, Dani, Michele, and Jeff were with him instantly. Not only were they very attentive to him, they were very compassionate, and understanding of my daughter's and my fears. When I left, Erica assured me that she would keep a very close eye on him. When I called later in the evening, Erica not only told me that he was doing well, she put him on the phone so that I could talk to him, and I was much less anxious. I have only mentioned a few of the staff in this review. We are always greeted with smiles, the staff are very willing to discuss any questions I might have about his care. The staff at Brookdale are, without exception, wonderful! Thank you to all of you!

The blessings offered by Brookdale Murrysville are boundless. Jil Miller, the manager of marketing and sales, greeted us on our initial visit. Her warm and friendly disposition was much appreciated. She was key for making the transition for my cousin a smooth one. Because of the close proximity of my home to Brookdale I am able to visit several times a week. My cousin enjoys the plethora of activities offered to residents daily. She feels an important part of the community. The attention given to residents by the caregivers is heartwarming. Residents experience a personalized sense of "home". The food is appetizing and nutritious. Any medical needs are closely monitored. My cousin is happy and content. I have no reservations in highly recommending Brookdale to persons who are seeking a place for their loved one.

Brookdale ,Murrysville is the preeminent choice for memory care senior living when the need arises. Our introductory meeting with Jil. the compassionate and attentive manager of sales and marketing convinced us that Brookdale was someplace special! Our cousin has been welcomed into a "family" . Our cousin is an active participant in the multitude of activities that occur daily at Brookdale. As we visit multiple times a week, we find her cheerfully engaged in stimulating activities along with other residents of the Brookdale community. Our interactions with and observations of each and every caring member of the Brookdale team assure us we made the right choice in selecting Brookdale, Murrysville as our cousin's residence. As a family member who has used several facilities for a loved one over the last several years, I strongly recommend Brookdale- Murrysville to anyone who will listen. I know from experience, the good, bad and the ugly of other facilities to the point of being unable to sleep at night, with worry. At Brookdale- Murrysville, I can sleep knowing they will call me about any incidents at any time of day or night. They are always willing to discuss and problem solve all aspects of his Alzheimer's progression to offer him the best of care and comfort.

Brookdale has been very good with our dad, he is very happy and well taken care of. My only thing is they don't provide transportation for appointments and it is hard because he has monthly eye appointment that someone needs to be available for. Unfortunately it is sometimes difficult because we both work and can't always get off for this.

I cant say enough good about Brookdale Murrysville. Dad was there for 18 months and got the best care ever. The staff is beyond great. The outstanding care and support that we received was wonderful all day every day. Thank you all!
