Brightstar is one of the >>lowest<< paying home care agencies in Erie. Because of this they have a *very* high turnover. Keep this in mind when attaching them to the insurance of your loved one. Keep this in mind when all the positive reviews are from two years ago?!?! The hired caregiver for your elderly parent and / or child should be paid a livable wage. This is not that agency.... Keep looking.

I have been a client with Brightstar Care for 1 year. I have had the same caregiver since day #1, Stephanie N. She takes great care of me & my home while we often share some laughs. I am blessed to have her as my caregiver-- she goes above & beyond for me. We have been with brightstar for a little over a year. We recieve home care services for my mother. We enjoy having our caregiver, Ashley Grant. She does an amazing job with my mom. She goes above and beyond to make sure my mothers needs are met. I am very satisfied with the staff that i have met and am greatful that i came across this home care agency. I would absolutely recommend brightstar to family and friends.

I have been an employee at brightstar for about 6 years now. During the past 6 years, I've had to have a few surgeries, had to take time off unexpectedly for my children etc. Brightstar staff has always been very understanding of real life situations and do their best to accommodate their staff and clients. While working for brightstar, Ive always felt like my role in the field makes a difference. I take pride in what I do for our clients. I feel very confident b/c of the training/information I receive regularly. We are an amazing team, working together for our clients to have a better quality of life in their homes and I couldn't ask for a better family to be a part of.

My mom is 83 with end stage dementia. Currently we have two aides Tammy and her daughter Dakota who are in charge of moms care. Both are very knowledgeable with moms needs from feeding to bathing to interacting. Both are willing to pick up extra shifts to accommodate our schedule more than once allowing us to work and sleep while not having to worry about moms care. We know she is being taken care of when they are here. Having them in our home has been a feeling of opening the door to family when they arrive! We love our Brightstar aides Tammy and Dakota!
