A Place For Mom
What was really nice is during our loved ones move in process the staff were very supportive and knowledgeable which was greatly appreciated and made things a whole lot easier. Every time we come to visit the staff know us by name, and call our loved one by their first name. The staff really display a true concern for their well being and show true love towards our loved one. The community is totally spotless and based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend them to other families. We even stop other families when they come to tour - to tell them just how excellent this community has been.

Caring
My mom is at Cambridge Hillside. She has been there for a few months now. It's clean and neat. It's well decorated. The rooms are spacious. Even in the shared rooms, the tenants have enough room to themselves. It's well set up. My mom has her own dresser, and she is allowed to have a mini refrigerator in her room. It's a good location, too. However, there are some things that my mom is complaining about. It's an OK facility. I don't know the staff very well. When my mom first moved in, they were very understaffed, so things were a little stressful. The staff was stressed out. Right now, there has been a few new hires, so things are a little bit better. When I talk to them, they seem nice. Especially the manager, the director, and the lead nurses that work there, seem nice. However, my mom doesn't like the food, and that's her biggest complaint. She's on a special diet, and they're not accommodating to her very well. I like the cleanliness of it. Every time I go there, it's very neat and clean. It's well decorated, it's very inviting, and it looks like a well-put-together home. In that way, they're doing good with cleanliness. They just keep the place clean. There are some activities. I don't think there's a lot but there's some. There's an exercise class they have once a week, there's bingo night once a week, and there's a couple of other things. I'm hoping they'll start up some more things now that the weather's getting nicer.

My Aunt has been there since July. Always Clean, Very friendly staff. My Aunt gets great care. She said food is very good!
