After suffering a house fire, both of my parents were in rehab at Chapel Pointe. From the enrollment process through their stay, everyone at Chapel Pointe worked tirelessly to ensure they were happy and making the best progress possible. The staff in Friendship Circle are amazing; kind, compassionate, and loving. My parents loved the food that is prepared in front of them, to order. My father especially liked getting 2 pieces of the Boston Cream Pie. My parents received physical therapy, occupational and speech therapy daily, from certified, trained professionals who truly go above and beyond. Communication with families is also fantastic! My family always knew what was going on, happening, and how my parents were doing. In conclusion, I give Chapel Pointe 10 stars for the fabulous care my parents received.

This place is truly incredible. My mom was in personal care, memory care and then skilled nursing at the end. Everyone who worked there was kind and caring. My mom absolutely loved the folks, especially in memory care, and it was so reassuring to know that if she ran out of money, she would still have a place to live where people would care for her. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We tried four different places and they weren’t even in the same league. It’s so good, that if I ever needed it, I would consider moving to Pennsylvania just so I could spend my end of life there as well.

They really did a great job with my Dad in his final days. Thank you for that. However, I believe that they have a serious theft problem there. He was in Friendship Circle. I signed off on his belongings, but when I got them home, there were so many things missing. Not sure who to complain to. My Dad had even commented that things were very loose there and that things came and went from his room. Not sure who to complain to as this just happened within the past month. Would like my Dads belongings returned!

Our mother moved there 8 months ago when her previous home couldn't care for her well any more; and we couldn't be happier. She's a dementia patient, requiring lots of extra attention. She keeps an odd schedule, but the staff is flexible with mealtimes and bedtimes to fit her needs. They communicate issues to us immediately and keep us updated. It is very clean and the staff is attentive and caring. They pay attention, identify issues, propose and implement good solutions.

I am so blessed to have placed my mom in Chapel Pointe after removing her from the nightmare called Church Of God Retirement facility! The staff at Chapel Pointe is outstanding! This facility is professional, caring, compassionate, and clean. You can rest assured that your loved one will receive the best care possible. I am so blessed to have placed my mother in Chapel Pointe. She is in skilled nursing due to her advancing dementia. It took a little while for her to adjust to her surroundings, which was understandable. During that time the staff made every effort to keep her comfortable and in good spirits. Now that my mother has adjusted she is content and has developed an excellent rapport with each of the staff. They keep me posted on every detail of her health and well-being, including the times that her sense of humor keeps them laughing. The decision to move a loved one into a care facility is very, very hard and not all family members will give you the support you need. That’s why I m extremely grateful for the peace I have found knowing that my dear mother is in good hands at Chapel Pointe.

We moved my father into Chapel Pointe when caring for him became too difficult at home. It helped that a couple of his siblings were already residents and their children (our cousins) said we should do whatever was needed to get him a spot there. Initially he lived in the Personal Care wing, where the staff patiently helped him and our family make the adjustments needed for such a big change. Near the end of his first year, his needs shifted and he was moved into the Skilled Care area. His care, the loving nursing staff (who treated him with dignity also communicated regularly with our family), the administrative staff (who helped intensively with the financial processes) and the overall sense of positive commitment to the residents well-being make Chapel Pointe a 'no-regret' choice for the care of daddy.

The Skilled Care Team at Chapel Pointe took great care of my mom, Donna, during her final two weeks of life. They also did a great job accommodating our family for visiting with her during those weeks. My mom said that she didn't want to be a burden to anyone, especially her family, which is why we moved her there from her sister's house in nearby East Berlin. When she was there in her first hours, she said, "Oh, I'm home now." Between my mom's comfort there, and the wonderful staff, Chapel Pointe was the best I could have asked for. Thank you so much!

I can't say enough good things about Chapel Pointe! My mom moved there (in Independent Living) 4 years ago and she is very happy, her apt. is beautiful, and she loves sitting on her balcony. The staff is incredibly thoughtful and caring -- they go over and above to make sure you're okay, maintenance requests are completed within hours, and everyone is extremely friendly. She loves going to the on-site Cafe for a bowl of soup or a sandwich or just to get milk for her coffee. Walmart, Panera, & Chick-fil-a are across the street; CVS and her bank are a 5 minute walk (without crossing a street). It is clean & safe, and gives us real peace of mind to know she's being treated with respect. I HIGHLY recommend it!

My 92 year old father, Rev. Norman Handy, is well cared for at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle, Pa. He loves the staff and residents and has felt safe throughout this entire COVID pandemic. I highly recommend Chapel Pointe as a safe and loving place to live.

My Parents have moved in to an independent living apartment. I feel so much at peace that they are in such a great community with a staff that excels in what they do. So very thankful for this retirement community.

My mother has been a guest at Chapel Point for quite some time. The place is modern and very clean. Each resident has their own private room and share a bath, with nursing assistants available to assit if needed. The food is good and cooked to order. People can bring thier pets in to visit. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. I live 80 miles away from Carlisle, but knowing that my mother is under the care of the staff at this facility, has given me peace-of-mind beyond compare. Most importantly, my mother ( who is unable to walk but very good mentally ) loves it there and feels safe and secure.
