They took such great care of my mom!!

Our son stayed here for a little while. We visited him once and felt like the staff was very caring and kind. They were happy to answer any questions. We felt comfortable that he was staying there. We knew he was being taken care of. We were contacted by the post care staff and Mary especially was very kind. She was following up to see if she could be of any further help. She even followed up a few weeks later to see how our son was doing. We were impressed.

Facility was well-staffed and very helpful. Nurses were kind and PT, OT and Speech staff were great to work with. My mother-in-law was in good hands. The facility has both rehab and temporary residents as well as long-term. Activities daily and secure entrance and doors.

Mary has gone above and beyond to makmy sisters stay comfortable and stree free. My sister talks very highly of her. She's also gone above and beyond to follow up on her condition when she came home.

Jana and Tasha took excellent care of my father in law. I am sure I a missing others . They treated him with the utmost respect and kindness that I have ever seen in this type of atmosphere . All your staff were very nice and understanding. They took very good care of me. The nurses and aids treated me like familyAs with every family there and disagreement and we worked thru them. My weekday nurse Loretta was so compassionate that between her, the aids, and ot I was offered a shower every weekday. My aid Kristy would set my shower up on weekend days when she was there.It is great to be home. Thank you for the rehab you provided which got me home sooner than expected. I would recommend this rehab facility to friends and family if they need rehab. If I'm future I need rehab I will be back. Thank you for the care and understanding Regina Sanfratello

I had my daughter's mother in law here for short term rehab, and she successfully met her goals and safely returned home. She was very happy with her stay and the care delivered!

My 94 yr old father was discharged home from this facility today. He spent several weeks there needing physical therapy after suffering a heart attack. We could not have asked for a better experience. His nurse Russ went out of his way to take care of my Dad's needs. My Dad is extremely hard of hearing & when giving him his meds Russ would kneel down beside him & explain what every pill was. His CNA Christy would sit beside him & rub his back & trade family stories. She always made him smile. She also made sure he was showered, shaved & had clean clothes on. All of the staff treated my Dad with kindness & respect. The facility provided physical therapy & occupational therapy every weekday as promised & regular visits with the MD. They also brought in an audiologist to check his hearing aids. The food was amazing & they gave huge portions with alternative choices. Are they short staffed - probably. Did that impact patient care - no. They did have staff picking up extra shifts when needed so they had adequate staff to meet patient's needs. That speaks to the quality & dedication of their team. Finally, it smelled clean. No bad odor. My Dad said they cleaned & mopped his floor every day. I've worked in the behavioral healthcare field for over 30 years & feared the worst when we had to place my Dad. I'm so happy we chose North Strabane Rehab!

To everyone considering placing your loved one here for care I highly recommend this wonderful place. The staff are all amazing and very tentative to every need that you may have to the best of their abilities. They go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and everybody truly cares. I was only there for about 11 days and I really miss them already. I just got home today so please Be rest assured that your loved one will be well taken care of in this beautiful place. Love ya all! McNubbin in 404 ’

I was here a year and 1/2 ago and really loved the staff. The Nurses and the Therapy Department. And everyone really the facility was very clean also. Now I’m back for I’m not sure how long but pretty much the same!

This facility (WAS!!) Great 2 1/2 yrs ago when I first started ad there Maintenance Director. At the time they had an administrator that ran a very tight ship . However this facility definitely went down hill quickly . From lawsuits for stealing employees PTO from the Department of Labor and Insdustry , to not pay vendors or contractors, ceilings collapse on a monthly basis because the owner refuse to have the entire sprinkler system fixed and would rather fix small sections at a time . The local police see this facility as a nuisance. The fire department and fire chief are fed up with having to come this facility on a regular basis because things don't get repaired as they should . They are always understaffed in every department. The landscaping is terrible if not next to non-existentent , overgrown hillsides and broken Fencing . The housekeeping- what house keeping ? It smells like urine and feces throught the entire building . All of the equipment is outdated or doesn't work properly. The kitchen staff has to work with limited resources and rarely gets new equipment when desperately needed . I've never worked for a worse company , I was on call 24/7 and came every time I was called upon not only as maintenance but also central supply ordering, stocking , housekeeping and cna . The amount of stress from the current administration was unbelievable. The administrator is incompetent and has no clue how to run a facility. Out of 8 administrators in 2 1/2 years the current one is the worst by a landslide. Residents wait with the call light on for hours , during covid dying Residents would ask why there family wasn't there and family members would ask to please let there loved ones know they can't come in because of covid but yet the dying Residents where left to assume there family didn't care about them . The conditions these Residents live in is terrible and sad most of all . They also stole Resident stimulus checks they didn't know any better or had no one on the out side to stand up for them . DO NOT PLACE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS OR LOVED ONES IN THOS FACILITY IF YOU TRULY CARE FOR THEM .

Ive been here twice now and I've enjoyed both stays and the staff, they are very good and caring Social services has helped me with many things, as well as the case manger janice and nursing staff, I would return again!

As a current resident and have been since January so I have a good ten months experience, there are a few things I dislike but you can't like everything, no matter where you go, there's bound to be some things you just don't care for but compared to the good they do, the few bad things are nothing, I mean, I hit the call button, either a nurse or an aid answers pretty fast, they take care of my needs pretty timely, I try to keep my room organized but being paralyzed, there's things I just can't do and they come in and organizes it for me, they have edible food(this sounds laughable because who wouldn't? I heard from other patients about food in other facilities and they don't, I don't know myself if true or not but not taking the chance if I don't have to), on site laundry, nurses and aides majority of times are happy go lucky and greet me with a smile on their face, if those few times they aren't feeling up to it, I put a smile on their face, the entire from office greets you with a smile and what's amazing is they all have an open door policy, not one time have I ever went to one of them with an issue that I was turned away, they handled it. If you are looking to have your loved one placed somewhere for care, please look into this place and I will be here for a few more months so please, stop in and ask me questions, my name is John Davis, I am in room 110.

My 95 year old aunt has been in 3 nursing homes in the past 6 years and has received the best care by far from North Strabane Rehab and Wellness Center(NSRWC). The staff is very friendly and responsive. The facility is very clean with the hard surfaced floors being scrubbed just about daily and the dining room table cloths changed daily and as needed. Her room is always clean and tidy. My Aunt's cloths are always clean even though she has difficulty feeding herself which reflects the personal assistance provided by the staff. She also seems to really enjoy her meals. Her appetite has never been better. The management and staff at NSRWC are commended for their efforts in providing excellent resident care.

The staff at this facility will bend over backwards to make sure the residents are happy and comfortable. I have been a resident for approximately two months now and I will be sad when I leave.
