I worked as an intern for Traditions of Hanover during the Spring 2022 semester and it was the most wonderful experience ever. I was welcomed with open arms by the executive director, Cathy Heimsoth, who guided me through the process of becoming a healthcare administrator. Cathy, and the rest of the staff, allowed me to shadow them without hesitation and taught me skills that I will cherish for the rest of my career. The facility is beautiful and well kept by the housekeeping and environmental department. The residents enjoy a variety of well coordinated activities by the resident life department that often takes feedback to improve the resident's overall experience. I definitely recommend this site for students who are currently seeking internship opportunities. They worked with my schedule and always prioritize my education.

I have worked with Traditions of Hanover since the time that they opened. Their management and staff have been consistently excellent through the years, which is saying a lot in todays world. I also had the recent opportunity to speak with a handful of residents, and they all rave about living there. If you are considering a move then you should visit Traditions. The staff is very friendly and the community has a great vibe of wonderful people and activities.

My mother in law Virginia lived there for about 7 years. She could not have been happier! The staff was absolutely wonderful to her, always made themselves available, were open to suggestions, and truly made her last years happy. Our only complaint is that she kept so busy with the entertainment, mah jong, pinochle, bingo, hand and foot, movies.... that she was difficult to reach by phone. ..A great problem! We truly want to express our appreciation to the entire staff and residents. She died 4, 10, 20 unexpectedly at 10 days shy of 92. If any prospective residents or family members have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

An absolutely wonderful place to live when the home you have known is no longer the best option. This building is filled with warm, caring and compassionate people that work there. I would recommend this facility to any of my loved ones without hesitation.

My mother spent the best year of her life at traditions of Hanover. We were fortunate enough to find senior housing for her in December of 2014. Sadly enough she passed away in January of 2016. The one thing that I was hating to do was put her in to senior living. We had an interview and a tour at traditions with Jennifer complete with lunch. I visited mother several times a week to help her with shopping and personal laundry highlighted by lunch with the girls at her table. Everyone was so very kind from leadership through maintenance. I had peace of mind whenever I left mother to return home that she was in good hands and I need not worry. That was a very huge thing for me. And I will be forever grateful to everyone involved.5 stars

I did my final internship here, and it was the highlighted opportunity of my college career. Every day, I was constantly encouraged by the acceptance, trust, and warm atmosphere of the Traditions community. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and they seemed like they wanted to be there. They know how to make you feel like family very quickly. Watching the relationships created between employee to manager, employee to resident, resident to resident, employee to employee, etc., gave me hope for other companies and the adoption of a healthy culture. These people are genuine and loving—as if caring for the residents were just an extension of caring for their own immediate family members. I am honored to have my name associated with Traditions (even if just for a little bit!) Theyve touched my heart in many ways, and I am glad to have formed friendships there that I hope will reconnect in the future. It has been great, everyone! P.S. The food is amaaaaaazing.

We have been living at Traditions of Hanover in Bethlehem, Pa. for 2 years and feel as close to home as possible. The staff and residents are wonderful, and there are many activities and bus trips, so that youre never bored. Weve made many new friends. Overall it was the right choice for us and our family feels the same way!

We recently visited Traditions of Hanover with our family friend Martin who, at 92, is looking to move from NYC to a quieter community, so we suggested coming to PA. Cathy and Jennifer were so terrific and welcoming as they planned Martins visit. We all had lunch with two of the men living at Traditions so Martin could ask them questions and get the straight story from other guys his age and he was pleased by what he heard. Lunch was delicious, with several choices and lots of fresh fruit available, as is a coffee bar during the day. Jodi served us and was so good with the residents, and so attentive to their needs; she even bought extra desserts so we could try them all. After lunch we toured the beautiful facility and a one bedroom apartment which Martin loved! Plenty of space for all his books! The library and computer area is great, and we told Martin we would get him on the internet in no time. We also met Cameron, the young woman who runs the exercise activities to keep everyone moving and flexible. Traditions has so many activities during the month, and weekly trips to the local grocery stores, and to doctor appointments, in their own mini-bus or Town Car. Its a beautiful community where everyone feels like extended family, and Martin is all set to move once he gets all his ducks in a row! Check out Traditions; you wont be disappointed.

When my mom was in search of an Independent Community in the Lehigh Valley, we visited Traditions of Hanover, among other places. What set ToH aside from the others was the warm and oh-so-welcoming feeling we both had, right from the start. We were made to feel right at home - not just by the staff, but by the residents.Jennifer (the staff member that that met with us) barely had to say a word... the residents themselves kept coming up to us telling us about their experiences since moving to ToH. Now... over 3 years later... my mom still says that moving here was the best decision shes ever made. She is never bored, never lonely, never hungry (the food is AMAZING!), and never feels even for a second upset about living here. The staff is incredible (from the young gals who help out at meal time and cleaning to the top management) – they all truly care about the residents. Ive not met a single staffer that thinks of their duties there as a job.She loves living there, but from my perspective, Im so very grateful for Traditions of Hanover and the positive experience theyve provided for my mom after having to leave her home of over 50 years.

This is hands down the GREATEST Senior Living Community in The Lehigh Valley. I helped my parents move here from Upstate NY-and I cant be any happier! My parents enjoy the activities, love the food and of course all the assistance with driving, Drs Appts, shopping.( a weight off my shoulders. )The staff is kind, informative, and very warm. I can say enough good things! I think the highlight of the year so far was my 93 year old Dad on the back of a Harley during the Veterans Lunch! So many fun times-safety, fun, healthy, happy-all the things I want for parents at this age-without bankrupting them! <3
