My mother was staying at Franciscan Manor for about 5 years and just recently passed away. I want to compliment the entire staff and care staff especially, for the attention and care she received during her last days. When our family visited her during entire her stay, the facility was always clean and well maintained.

Best place in Beaver County. My dad was at this facility for years and they do a great job of taking care of the people in their care. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a high level of care at a reasonable price.

My mother loves it at Fransiscan Manor. The residents are well cared for and the food is great. The place is beautiful, clean, and well kept. The caring staff are there to help with anything she needs.

I use to visit my neighbors while the were residents for a few months and enjoyed my visits and the friendly staff. When it came time to find a place for my Mom, this was my first choice.
July 2025
Staff are nice, clean, good therapy program, activities, food is good, the only con, is when they are short staffed, had to wait 1 hour for the call light to be answered

Fantastic place for your loved ones. Great facility, great and loving staff. Could have not found a better place for my mom.

Franciscan Manor is just like their ratings and name, Five Star. Recently placed my parents in the facility. The friendly helpful staff, from the administrators, front desk, caregivers, activities director and dinning room servers have made this transition very comforting.

My Mom became a resident in the Franciscan Manor this year. It was a smooth transition and they made her feel very welcomed. The Franciscan Manor does a great job providing activities and bringing in entertainment for the residents. They also provide family events around the holidays. My Mom spent some time in rehab and they even came out and visited her to tell her that she was missed. I am very pleased with the Franciscan Manor.

The transition to Franciscan Manor has been such a blessing to my family! Dad is happy and safe and well cared for. Staff is so kind. It feels like home away from home and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a difficult decision but Franciscan Manor made it so easy. Best choice ever!

Franciscan manor is a peaceful, beautiful environment for my dad. He is comfortable there and the staff are so kind and helpful. The building is kept in great shape and is always clean. They consistently perform updates to keep it looking great. Within the last year, the main areas and hallways received new carpeting and all the walls were given a fresh coat of paint. The dining hall is gorgeous and gives the feel of a fancy hotel and is nothing like a cafeteria. I feel confident in the care my dad receives at Franciscan Manor and would choose it again.

We toured several facilities before choosing Franciscan Manor for my mother-in-law. Franciscan Manor has many positive attributes from the friendly receptionist when you first arrive to all the staff members who greet you as you walk thru the facility. The rooms are bright and well decorated. The food is well prepared with a good selection of options and delicious. Nurses and aides are caring and friendly to all residents. Always available to answer a question or address a concern. There are any activities thru out the day for them to participate in from bingo to exercise and the mystery bus trips. They also provide religious outreach for the residents such as communion and hymn sings. We would recommend Franciscan Manor to any one who is in need of a safe and clean facility for a loved one.

My sister and I had a very wonderful experience when we had to look for an assisted living option for my sister. We could not have found a cleaner, friendlier, or more informative place to place her. One of the first things we noticed was there was no nursing home or old people odor. The rooms are spacious and clean with the food being wonderful! All the residents seem to be very happy and in an upbeat mood which comes directly from the staff. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!!

Choosing a care facility for loved ones is never an easy task. When the need came for my mother, Franciscan Manor was an easy choice - 3 of my grandparents resided there in the past. Our family trusts the administration and staff at Franciscan - they have not let us down. The rooms and social areas are comfortable for residents and visitors, and the activities staff has lots going on to keep the resident's mind and body engaged. Mom had to go to another facility for a while due to a complication, and the service and staff there was no match to Franciscan. We couldn't wait to get her back to her "home away from home."

Thanks to all the staff for their compassionate care of my Mom and Dad while they were residents of the facility.

Coming to the realization that your parents need assisted living is not an easy one to make, choosing Franciscan Manor made all the difference. It is a beautiful setting with a clean upscale hotel feel to the environment. The staff is kind, professional, knowledgeable and ever so helpful. I am thankful every day that we selected Franciscan Manor. Whatever they pay Melissa, she is such an advocate, it isn't enough. She has a heart of gold.

I was introduced to Melissa at Franciscan Manor when I was researching locations for my mother to continue her rehabilitation from a medical issue. At a time where I was very stressed, worried and not well organized for my mother’s future, Melissa fixed all of that for us. She walked us through the process, made us feel at home and made the transition easy. This kind of support, continued the whole time. Melissa and the staff was so great to work with throughout the entire year my mother lived here. Thank you for helping to make her comfortable within the living arrangement, the activities and friendship, to prepare to return to her own home. She is also very thankful to all of you! It was a pleasure.

I am so happy we moved my mother in law into Franciscan Manor late last year. She loves living there of course, that makes it even better. Everyone knows her name, what's going on with her medically (she has Alzheimer's), and the activities she likes to do so she's tended to with respect and dignity, like a member of family. The facility is lovely, clean, smells fresh, is decorated to the nines for each holiday including entertainment and family meals. It is safe and well staffed, supports families when they visit with a number of private and semi private spaces, and is always welcoming to me and my wife. Staff know us by name and are always on hand to help us with questions or needs and always do so happily and politely. Their dedication to making sure their facility was a good fit for us, as opposed to simply breaking out the hard sell was truly appreciated. There is never a doubt that my mother in law is receiving excellent care, is tended to frequently, and in the way that works best for her and not for the facility. I appreciate the fact that we have visited at all hours of the day and night, on any given day of the week, and I've never seen anything that has made me question my mother in law's health or safety. We have been able to relax for the first time since her diagnosis knowing she is safe in the care of Franciscan Manor.

We have been extremely happy with my father's care at Franciscan Manor. Franciscan Manor has a beautiful setting and the staff have been great to work with. There are many activities that are available for residents to take part in that have been enjoyable and a bed and breakfast area for out of state family to stay and visit. So far a great experience!!

Franciscan Manor is "the best in its class" senior living community in the area. My 90yo mother has been a very happy resident since 2012, and I can personally attest to this from the countless visits I've made. The administration, medical, and support staffs are friendly and outstanding. The food is great (I know, because I've eaten in their beautiful dining hall so many times). I highly recommend the Franciscan Manor senior living community.

I am a salesman and have been in many Senior Living Facilities. I have to say this is by far the nicest Senior Living Facility I have ever had the privilege to be in. It was clean and just a beautiful place to live. The staff was even nice to an old salesman like me so I am sure they would treat their resident even better. If i ever needed to be in a Senior Living Facility I could only hope it would be as nice as Franciscan Manor!!! WOW

My mom had a stroke on August 7 2016. After stays at AGH, West Penn and Vincentian I have to say my family is very lucky to have found Franciscan Manor. Melissa came out right away to evaluate my mom (who other homes said she was too high level of care) and we were able to get her a room the next day. Franciscan Manor is a hidden gem. We live in Cranberry Township and drive 30 minutes to see my mom everyday but I count my blessings daily and thank God for the care she is receiving. The place is clean and very well kept. The staff is friendly and take great care of my mom. Genesis Physical Therapy is on site and has made such great strides and we are so hopeful they will have her up and walking again. If you are looking for somewhere to place your loved one, you should definitely give Melissa a call!!!!!!

Due to a set of unfortunate circumstances over the last year, I have had to place my mother in a number of different skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in the area. She is 82 years old and has suffered a stroke, a broken hip and more recently sepsis followed by gall bladder surgery. After a 2 week stay at Villa St. Joseph to rehab her broken hip, I moved her to Franciscan Manor, which is closer to her home. She had stayed in Providence in Beaver Falls for three weeks when she had her stroke a year ago, but it was a bit gloomy. I wanted her to have a more cheerful stay this time since she would be there for the next 6-8 weeks recovering and learning to walk again. From the moment I entered Franciscan Manor, I felt welcome. I toured all of the available rooms and chose a spacious private room with lots of natural light and a seating area just outside that she could pretend was her own little living room when neighbors and friends visited. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and my mother’s stay went by quickly. They took very good care of her and she made some good friends while she was there. When she had gall bladder surgery recently, the first thing I did was call Melissa in admissions at Franciscan Manor in case mom needed a place to recover. My call was received in the same welcoming and supportive spirit I had experienced months before. It was a relief to know they would be there for her again if she needed it.

During the process of life, most of us are faced with many difficult decisions. One of the most difficult decisions involves how to properly care for those whom we love so very much, but who can no longer properly care for themselves. When looking for a place to place my grandparents Franciscan Manor made such an impression that we decided to look into it further. The manor was beautiful and spacious and also offered a variety of activities and events for my grandparents. While my grandparents were living at the manor we found the staff to be very caring and competent. Knowing how difficult it is to ask anyone to care for the elderly especially for those who had to leave their homes and go to a place they do not desire to be, Franciscan manor's staff and administration did not only do a wonderful job in caring for them but also in transitioning them to their new home. Since my grandparents passing I felt it was important to thank the entire staff and administration at Franciscan Manor for their support and compassion in making my grandparents feel at home. Without hesitation I would recommend the services of the Manor to those who are in search of a special place for a special loved one.
