I have seen a vast improvement in my Mom since admitted to Phoebe; first in short-term rehab, then in skilled nursing. Very warm, professional and knowledgeable staff; nutritional and creative meals; a philosophy of improving health (not just maintaining the status quo); and lots of stimulating activities. I would highly recommend!!!

My loved one ENJOYED the food! Staff at Phoebe Allentown Short term Rehab are very caring. They are as busy as any other rehab facility but that doesn't hinder their personal care. Aides are kind, smile, use humor and show patience. Most are friendly and communicative with family, esp if you reach out to them and stay involved on your end. Therapists are knowledgeable, adaptable and keep patients engaged. The large gym is clean and appears well equipped. Lovely and large covered porch with outdoor seating overlooking well maintained courtyard space with paved paths. Great for taking a walk with your loved ones.

Went to Phoebe for the first time to visit my sister who.is.innthere for short term rehab. The place is amazing I have never been to one so clean and the staff were very nice. They have so.many activities for the patients. At first was worried but upon my visit I was so relieved to know she is ain a place getting the best of care. Thank.you to the staff and everyone at Phoebe for doing an awesome job. It.means alot to.a family to.know that their loved ones are cared for while in the facility.

My grandmother was a patient at their short-term rehab and then went on hospice in their skilled nursing facility. She was on the 'Allen St.' floor. Short-term rehab was wonderful. Very clean, very friendly and dedicated staff. Everyone there was very informative and helpful. As soon as she made the transition to hospice, the staff got on board to help with everything. I didn't know how to apply for medicaid for her and they connected me with someone right away to help. They involved me in meetings with her team and kept me involved every step of the way. The skilled nursing facility was clean and the staff there is truly exceptional. The aides and nurses there care very much about the residents and my grandma was always clean, comfortable and well cared for. They were such a comfort those last few weeks with her. The supervisor was also so lovely the day of her passing and the prayer she said over my grandmother was beautiful. I don't doubt that they're understaffed (as all nursing homes are at this point), but the care they give is amazing. It shows that the people who work there, are there because they want to be and not just for a paycheck. I will forever recommend them and our family so deeply appreciated every single thing they did.

I thought my father received very decent care here at Phoebe. Special notice should be taken to acknowledge the PT and OT staff, Gary and Stella. They tried so hard to get my father to regain his strength and will to get better, even having heartfelt talks with him pleading for him to try his hardest. Also, very special thanks to the nursing aides, and I hope I'm getting the names correct but I'm sure I'm missing several...Lisa, Nada, Jose...such beautiful people who TRULY care and try to make a real difference. And thank you for getting Dad to eat!!! Ann Dee, room care, thank you for your kindness as well. Also, Stephanie, his regular PA, who i didnt get to meet but my mom said was great. I saw my Father open up and smile some days which is something I haven't seen for several years. My mom was also so grateful for the help of the woman in charge of his week to week insurance approvals so he could stay (and im so sorry i forgot your name!) Thank you so much to these people for your kindness, support and above and beyond care! My only complaint is about the substitute PA, who I will not mention by name, who took over Dad's care for a week while his regular PA was out, and kept insisting his sepsis was back and that if he didn't go back to the hospital you would treat him as though he was in hospice and only "make him comfortable". Please remember that everyone is fighting a battle and let that knowledge guide you in speaking kindly to the patient and their family. This situation has not been easy for my Dad or for our family. Please also remember that if a family member or patient questions you with regard to medicine dosing or treatment plans, they may only be trying to understand your reasons for choosing a certain path for the patient. Maybe they know something about their medical history that you do not know. And maybe they have ideas that can help. Doctors are not right 100 percent of the time as evidenced by the fact that it has been over a week since he's been home and two weeks since he's had any fevers. Fortunately, your certainty that the sepsis is definitely back was incorrect. He is doing well since he's been home, regaining strength and we are so grateful. So, for the most part, thank you, Phoebe, for your care of my Dad. I believe this facility and staff truly made a difference for him.

I will recommend Phoebe Richland to anyone who asks how they are as a rehab or a long term facility back on May 7 2019 my partner had a stroke she was sent to Phebe Richland on May 17th when she first got there she didn't want to do anything but the staff helped me get her going and want to recover from this she was there for 2 months and the the aids and nurses and other staff members treated the two of us like we where family and thanks to the PT,OT,SPEECH therapist she got on her way to recovery on July 26 2019 she was released from Phebe and now she is home and going to out patient PT OT Speech therapy and doing well we are very grateful to the staff of the Phebe Richland community

My father's wife's mother was a resident in Meadow Glen Personal Care at Phoebe Richland and had an amazing experience. Moving into Phoebe made her social again and gave her a purpose (not to mention the apartments are brand new and beautiful). The staff was amazing to her, and after a stroke she entered the rehab neighborhood at Richland, which was even better than expected. She recovered in just a few short weeks and we were all so grateful for the staff's dedication and kindness.

I can't say enough positive things with regards to Phoebe Richland. My father was there for a few weeks for rehab and he was given excellent care. No matter what time of day we visited there was always caring and competent staff. Cura which provides the food service is an excellent company with regards to food service. They focus on quality which was quite evident when my father ate his meals. He had his choice of whatever was on the menu that day as well as additional offerings. I believe there is no other facility that is able to match the quality of care found at Phoebe Richland.
