A caretaker by the name of [name removed] did nothing but eat, nap, and give my Mother a hard time when she did not want to do the things on the caretaker list. My Mom is very ill and I, as the primary caretaker, make sure she has everything she needs and her hygiene is maintained. The caregiver was [name removed] nasty and caused a huge altercation by telling my Mother that the reason my Mom only had a few hours of care was because I “refused to pay for it!” This was none of her business and NOT even true. I pay for private nursing care so I do not know where this [name removed] got her information. I certainly wouldn’t pay for more people like her to sit around and eat all day when there were things that needed to be done but I have no problem paying for quality care! Regardless, this was none of her business and it turns out that she eavesdropped on a conversation that my Mom had with our Social Worker. [name removed] took that information and told my Mom a lie to cause trouble. When I reported her, she told her boss that she “did nothing wrong.” Her favorite line was telling my Mother that she was a “ good Christian woman” so she needed to make sure my Mom did the items on her checklist. She never consulted me, never considered that I took care of the items on the checklist, and never for once realized that saying you’re a “good Christian woman” is contradictory to God’s Word. No one is that “good” - this is why we need a Savior. The best thing that happened was that [name removed] caused this trouble because now we don’t have to deal with her any longer. We were so kind and giving to her and she didn’t deserve it. People like her should not be caretakers without supervision. She couldn’t be trusted and I regret not reporting her sooner.

Home care is a very tough business and Mary Ann is incredibly caring for all of her patients and staff. I will definitely use her when needed and recommend her to all of my friends dealing with senior care issues.
