I must say that all staff has been great with my mother. The environment is friendly, helpful, patience, understanding, and willing to work with families to make everything easier and better for all. We appreciate all the crafts, games, baking, gardening, activities and projects to keep residents busy and active and made to feel like they matter. I commend all staff for working hard even when they are under staffed. From my family to you and yours we all Matter. Thank you!

My dad recently moved in here, and the staff is amazing! They immediately got him an extra long bed because he is quite tall. They answered all of my questions patiently and knowledgeably. They have gone above and beyond to make my dad feel safe and comfortable. Their rooms are clean, and they have a great outdoor patio. Can't recommend more highly!

Hate hearing stories about not being able to call. As a nurse at a facility like this we are busy all day with medication administration and wound care. Being a compassionate nurse has nothing to do with family's opinion about phone calls and things missing.this happens at most facilities. Maybe get your special relative a cell phone.

I am always happy to visit Columbia Basin! They have a beautiful outdoor patio for residents and families to enjoy. Their staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I know many seniors who have had to utilize Columbia Basins Skilled Nursing for rehabilitation and their experiences have always been so positive. They take great care of their residents while they are there and are easily able to get them back to better health. I have had to work directly with their Social Services Director many times and it is always effortless. Delena, tends to every need and is prompt about getting her residents in safe hands to continue the care they need to thrive. Columbia Basin has great management, caring staff and I love how clean it is! I would recommend Columbia Basin to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to place one of my own family members here! Thank you so much everyone at CB for the wonderful, heartfelt work you all do.

As far as care goes my mother in law is happy. However I dropped flowers off for her and she never received them. I'm angry about it because we weren't allowed to see her. The nurse I left them with at the door assured me she would see to it that she got them. I said her name twice and it was on the card. I understand mixups happen but I would have gladly written down anything she needed to make sure they got to the right room. So now I'm out $30 and it was a beautiful bouqet. The florist in The Dalles Safeway is amazing! We didn't have anything like it at our Safeway. It's a 3 plus hour drive for us so I can't just go across town and try it again. I called to ask what happened and reception in that building is not the best. I got disconnected and have yet to resolve the issue.
