We live in Sherwood and have been invited to two events at The Springs, a beautiful senior living community. We have attended their art show and Mother’s Day Tea. We were so impressed with both. The art show included works by area artists and the residents. We chatted with one resident who shared that he never knew he had any artistic ability until he joined an art class there. We were also very impressed with the Tea; a culinary delight created by their in-house chefs, with beautifully set tables. A few comments we heard by their residentsthey love it and feel safe there and praised their Director, Amanda Sanchez, for her care. She anticipates rather than reacting to problems. She’s always on top of things! They also love being within walking distance to Old Town Sherwood. We have personally benefited from The Springs reaching out to the Sherwood community; it says a lot about their investment in Sherwood, and we are so grateful to have seen what they do first hand!

My parents have lived at The Springs at Sherwood for 5 years in both independent and now assisted living and they are very happy. The entire staff from the front desk receptionist to the dining room servers, the caregivers, and med techs, the housekeepers, the transportation staff, the activities coordinators and the executive leadership are outstanding! There are many activities to keep the residents engaged and busy, the food is good and care giving is top notch! Problems are addressed quickly when they arise. They go out of their way to make sure the residents and their family members feel at home and welcome. If you or a loved one is considering a senior living residence I highly recommend The Springs at Sherwood.

We here at Alpine House are very impressed with the compassion, integrity, and strong sense of community the .Springs at Sherwood. provides to its residents. What truly stands out is how deeply connected they are to the community they serve and how intentionally they preserve that sense of belonging even after a resident moves into their care. They recently referred a long-term resident to Alpine House when her medical needs became too complex for their setting, and we were very touched by the honesty, thoughtfulness, and genuine concern they showed throughout that transition. It takes true professionalism and compassion to recognize when a resident may benefit from a higher level of specialized care and to prioritize the resident’s wellbeing above all else. What has impressed us even more is that their relationship with the resident did not end after the move. Their team and even their executive director continued to visit regularly, demonstrating that the bonds formed with residents are sincere, meaningful, and lasting. That level of ongoing connection and humanity is rare and speaks volumes about the culture they have created.

The staff is highly professional and resident-oriented, they definitely deliver on the promises in the brochures. The facility is beautifully appointed with high quality features with an emphasis on comfort, accessibility, safety and efficiency. Residents are treated with utmost respect in an atmosphere of inclusiveness and caring. Responses to resident concerns are quick and appropriately handled. There is a wonderful feeling of community here at The Springs where we residents feel empowered to be heard, and the expectation of individualism is alive and well. Yes, the price is high, but we get what we pay for. This is definitely the right place for me!

If I was 3o years younger, and in reasonably good health, I wouldn’t be at The Springs. But that is not the case and so, after nearly five years, I’m glad we chose this place. We did not have anything to compare The Springs with but, I’m glad I’m here. I’m convinced The Springs is either the best retirement home in this area or is among the very top ones. But just like when we were living at home, not everything is always perfect. So when I find something is not quite right, I lobby to change it. So far the results have been fairly good .. because the management will listen.

My mother-in-law moved into The Springs in Sherwood last Spring and loves it. She keeps saying that she should have moved there sooner. I'm not sure that we could get her to move out now. When we moved her in it reminded me of moving into the dorms in college. Many of the residents were hanging out at the entrance enjoying the sun and having a good time. They asked if we were moving in and welcomed my MIL. People would stop by her room and say hi. We've had several meals with her and attended several events. I'm impressed with how engaged the staff and residents are. Oh, and the food is good. The Springs goes out of their way to create a community where people not only want to stay, but actually thrive! That is not an easy thing to do.

I recently helped someone move in to this community. She is doing so well there and has made a great friend with her neighbor. It couldn’t have been a better fit! The food is wonderful! I’ve never had a bad meal at The Springs Sherwood. The Marketing staff, Lynn and Debbie are both top notch. They are knowledgeable and caring.

If we had questions or a difficult situation arise, staff worked with us to resolve. The Springs Sherwood is a friendly, safe, active place for a family member.

My siblings and I have been so grateful that my parents were able to move to The Springs at Sherwood, a little more than two years ago. My parents were welcomed and embraced by both the staff and the residents. The positive community that has been intentionally created makes it a wonderful place to live. The activities offered and friendships created give purpose and meaning to each day. Kindness and inclusion prevailsevery single day, by every single staff member. We also love that residents can retain their independence by taking The Springs bus to nearby stores a couple of days a week. We are incredibly grateful for the thoughtfulness and hard work it takes to maintain such a wonderful community.

We love the care and attention our 97 year old father receives at The Springs in Sherwood. His apartment is light, bright, clean and cozy. He enjoys the food, friends and pool table there. It feels safe and secure and he is very happy there.

I can truthfully say I was here in the beginningJuly 1, 2020: the 9th resident. Aside from the growing pains of a new house and a new organization, I could tell right away that the Springs was The place. From the physical plant, the excellent food, the incredible staff to the vast variety of programs focused on the needs and interests of the residents, it is hard to imagine a better place. our experience here at "the springs at sherwood" is totally, completely positive. we moved in last may 7th (2023). since then, all personnel have provided excellent, positive, professional, and personal services. both the residents and hired staff are always friendly and know our names. the food serving staff remains competent and willing to go the "extra mile" in response to our requests. all are friendly. we have gotten to know the administrator, drasti patel, as well as the maintenance staff, housekeepers and waiters on a first name basis. all remain kind, thoughtful, personal. My wife and I have no hesitation in providing this positive recommendation for "the springs at sherwood."

The Springs at Sherwood has been everything I hoped for in senior living. Great caring and friendly staff, good food and plenty of activities. The rooms are spacious. Nice people live here and you are in old town Sherwood. Many nice areas for taking a walk, using the local library, restaurants, coffee places, etc..all within a very short walk.

The Springs in Sherwood is a really nice retirement community nestled in Old Town Sherwood. Besides it central location it offers the range of independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Visits are more accessible now and everyone is always very friendly.

The Springs at Sherwood is by far one of the best places to provide care for your loved one. My Dad moved into Assisted Living a few months ago and we couldn’t be happier. The variety of food options is great, as he never goes hungry and always has more than enough to eat. The social activities are always top notch including live music, trivia, food and beverage tastings, cooking, various clubs you can join, and different weekly outings to explore the area. I always joke with him that it’s like he’s on a cruise ship without the travel! I never have to worry about him knowing he is in great hands with the staff at the Springs!

Having to move my mom into Memory Care was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I visited a couple places and The Springs at Sherwood is top notch! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed and made to feel part of a family. I visited several times and asked lots of questions prior to moving my mom in. I never felt pressured. I received compassion and reassurance. When I brought mom to her new home, staff was waiting at the door to greet and welcome her. She felt loved immediately! The staff is WONDERFUL! So caring, giving and loving. They sincerely care for the residents. The place is super clean and feels like home. My mom is adjusting and doing so well here. In her prior place, she spent most of her time in her room and was up all hours of the night. Not at the Springs. She is so busy during the day, that she is in bed by 9:30. They have music, painting, crafts, bingo, snacks throughout the day (along with many other activities) and the staff is there participating with them. I can't say enough good things about this place. So thankful to have found them and know my mom is being well taken care of!

It was hard to have my mom going someplace that was not home. I am a fairly critical person, and I was not happy about the situation. It has been a year now. Mom has adjusted to the room, and she loves the staff. I have watched the staff with the critical eye of a son. I am impressed with the personal treatment that this little place is able to give. Activities and meals are the weak spot in every A.L. I have observed. The Springs has limited activities and medium food. They do a lot more than I could when I tried to do this myself at home with mom. Especially if you live nearby for visits, The Springs at Sherwood is a great place for anyone who needs help with the day to day, and those who need more assistance as well.

My mom lived at the Springs Sherwood for 2 years and passed away recently. The care from the staff during those 2 years and especially near the end of her life was supportive and caring. She viewed the staff not only as caregivers but also friends. The environment is comfortable and safe and the management team and staff of caregivers are professional in every sense of the word.
