I worked here as an agency CNA for roughly 5 weeks. I was treated by the residents and staff with nothing but respect, compassion, gratefulness, and so much more. The way the RCC, administrator, nurse, activities and other management members worked with the staff and residents were outstanding. I have been doing this work for roughly 9 years and it is hands down the best building I have ever stepped foot in. I highly recommend this community for staff and resident perspectives.

Neawanna is a very welcoming community that treats residents like extended family. The administrator, Ann, is extremely professional and warm and friendly. She works beside her staff and is always willing to go the extra mile as an administrator. I personally have worked with Ann and she has heen the best mentor to me in my career. I am inspired by her daily. The activities director, Helen, is found with a genuine smile wherever she goes. The residents are laughing with her and having blast daily. Just an enjoyable place to be whether you are living, visiting, working at this community.

My husband and I have lived here for 2 1/2 years. The management and care giving staff are excellent. Only problems have come from shortage of staff (due to living in a tourist town) I expect to live out my life here.

The community was phenomenal and great. The food was excellent and they had a menu you could choose from. There is a main building with studios in it. I saw the cottages which are on the outside of the main building. They were cheaper and it had a lawn, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and a garage. The studios were really nice. My mom wanted to be in a community where she walked out of her room and she could see people and activities. She also wanted to stay in Astoria.
