I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was with Redwood Heights Assisted Living!! Starting with Andrew who is the Sales Manager. I visited three times (by myself, then with a friend) trying to make the right decision for my sister who had Terminal Brain Cancer. She wanted to stay home but, with no family near by, the cost for home health care is exorbitant!!! Redwood Heights was our top choice but, we ended up picking a facility in Keizer that was just a little less expense. My sister was in the Hospital for a month and continued to deteriorate to the point where she was bed bound. The Facility in Keizer notified us that they would not be able to support her “Level of Care”. We now had 24 hours to find a new place. I called Andrew and he acted IMMEDIATELY to send a nurse to the hospital to evaluate the level of care required. Bobbi (Nurse) came out the same morning and when she heard that we needed to move my sister that day or, send her home. She called Andrew and told him that they needed to hurry to help to prevent my sister from having to go home for one night. In the end, the hospital allowed her to stay one more night and we were able to move her the next afternoon. If it wasn’t for Andrew and Bobbi, I am not sure what would have happened!! The next person we dealt with was Briannathe General Manager. She was so sweet and supportive and applied to pressure to “hurry up” and do the paperwork!! Then there is Savanah the front desk receptionist. What a total delight she was/is. She was just so kind and caring throughout our entire time there and I loved seeing her sweet caring face! Finally, the day to day caregivers who were there 24/7 caring for my sister with such patience! My sister arrived on 6/8/22 and passed away on 6/27/22. Redwood Heights was such a wonderful, caring facility!! Thanks to all who work there!!!!!!

Great community. Residents seem happy and engaged in activities and events like ice cream socials, happy hour, and exercise activities. The drumming activity looks especially fun.

I been with redwood heights for 2 years now going on 3 years. Love working here because the residents make it a fun place to work at. Love caring for all them. We have our ups and downs but we make redwood a fun place to work at. The culture of this community is nothing like I’ve experienced before. It’s like a family.

My mom has lived here for the last year and a half. I'm very happy with my choice, Redwood management has been very attentive to ensuring my moms needs are met. My mom needs alot of care and the caregivers have done a wonderful job making her feel at home and taken care of. Redwood was very nice to allow me to stay a few nights when my mom first moved in. Mom also says the other residents come and check on her in her room and encourage her to go to activities. Thankful for all the care that Redwood Heights has given to my mom!

Andrew was very accommodating & knowledgeable informing us of the ins & outs of Redwood Heights. He compiled a virtual tour of the appartment we were looking at because we couldnt inspect first hand. The Corona virus & forest fire smoke prevented that.In conclusion we decided it was a good fit!

My aunt has lived here for a few years and says that the caregivers are family. The Executive Director, Amy, is compassionate and responsive. This is so important since I am in charge of my aunt’s care but live out of the area. They take her to all of her appointments and communicate any changes or concerns about my aunt to me right away. They even have a program that will allow for my aunt to stay at Redwood Heights when she runs out of her savings I’m a couple of years. Very clean facility and kind staff members.

The staff are incredibly kind and compassionate. The management team has always been extremely helpful and very professional. Ive worked for Redwood Heights as the community driver since 2017. I love my job and the place I work, all staff are hard working and are willing to do what it takes to get the job done in the safest manor. Resident enjoy outings and entertainment and residents, family members seem to be overall happy when it comes to care. I would recommend this community to my loved ones.

I have-lived here at Redwood Heights for more then two and half years, and I can say one of the happiest and friendly Assisted care living in this area. The reason, I think for this, all the activities provided for us...Art classes, games, cards,bean bag baseball,bingo,physical classes,puzzles, Library and now gardening...where we plant and care for....the entire gardening.which provides......the best tomatoes in Salem......carrots...radishes...onions...squash....all kind of flowers.. Come see we would love to show you around.We are very proud of our art classes, teacher Bridget...last year under Her and Sami s efforts , our art was saved for Art Acution. We had.house full , of interested bidders,,,at the end We made about $1500 for our favorite charity,this year about $500........and we are still working..supporting our Charities Have I mentioned our daily FOOD ........We have best in Salem Oh I almost forgot or bus service for medical visits, outside interesting programs, for entertainment..Bus driver Shawn..he is the best!

I love working here!!!!! I have been here for 12 years and we have the best ED, she cares about our residents. Thank goodness we have the best activities, she’s awesome with our residents. I’m happy that we have awesome team, Lacee as our RCC and Jessica as our BOM!!!! I’m thankful to be here, love it here and most of all I love my residents!!!!!

I moved my dad from retirement home here in California that he was unhappy with to the Redwood Heights residence. Ever since he has been there, he calls me and tell me how helpful and friendly the staff is. When i call with any questions or concerns management always puts me at ease, they are wonderful. I feel I made the best decision moving my dad to Redwood Heights residence and my mind can be ease.

Thanks to all the staff for the excellent care for our mother. Redwood Height is a great place, and we would highly recommend it for anyone. Its always a pleasure to visit. We enjoyed seeing the photos and it helps give us a better idea of her social life.
