I totally would recommend Oceanview Senior Living for anyone that is looking to place their loved one in an Assisted Living Facility. If you are looking for a place for yourself, I would still recommend Oceanview. The staff is amazing and kind. Great team of care givers here.

Great setting, quiet, peaceful, wonderful staff, and Shelly is amazing. Very thorough and thoughtful. My mother is really looking forward to Oceanview being her future home.

Our mom and step-father moved into Oceanview last June 2021 right when a Covid outbreak happened. We elected to go ahead with the move and we were SO glad that we did. The staff did their utmost to keep all residents and staff safe and make everyone comfortable. They had to pivot to serving all meals in residents rooms--imagine the extra staff and supplies needed to do this! When things were safe to open back up for meals in the dining room and other activities were able to resume (crafts, puzzles, pool shooting, games, movies, exercise classes) my mom and step-father thrived! The residents are all friends, the staff are competent, kind and caring. They really went above and beyond when my step-father injured himself in a fall. He was in serious pain and they were so gentle, caring and kind through this injury and subsequently, his death. Most important of all, my mom is not alone; she's surrounded by love and support throughout Oceanview. We're so glad we made this move!

Oceanview is a wonderful place! The staff is kind, compassionate, helpful, friendly, caring, and hard working! We moved our folks in there this past June and everyone helped to make them feel very at home right away. My stepdad suffered from Alzheimer’s and was not happy about being moved from his home, but within two short weeks he was calling Oceanview home and making friends with staff and residents. Recently, my stepdad fell and needed a lot of additional care and the staff was there for all of his needs. He unfortunately took a turn and was put on hospice, and the team at Oceanview stepped up even more. At every turn, they were taking care of my stepdad and my Mom, and even us! We are so incredibly happy that we encouraged my parents to make this move because I’m not sure how we would have handled the past several weeks without them! Mom is planning to stay because she enjoys the community/family atmosphere that Oceanview provides. Mom has made many friends there and enjoys the staff tremendously. She is even on the welcome committee and the council. Mom is more active and feeling more healthy than ever before. She came to Oceanview with lots of back pain, but after getting on-site physical therapy, she is nearly pain free and thriving! I know when the time comes that my husband and I need additional care, we will not hesitate to move to Oceanview.

My loved one has been living at Oceanview for 3 years and I could not be more pleased with her care. The staff is kind, compassionate, and respectful of the residents. All holidays are celebrated with decorations throughout the community in addition to a special meal. There are numerous activities to join...arts and crafts, cooking, movies, exercise, and many more. I highly recommend Oceanview for your loved ones or yourself.

My mother-in-law likes Oceanview Senior Living. It is not big, but it is clean, neat, and smells good. We like it. The facilities are very good. There are two different types of rooms. We saw the whole place, and everything was fine. The staff member who assisted us was good and knew what she was talking about.

My Dad died, but when he was there they were really wonderful with him. He was temperamental and they were very kind and patient with him. The staff was wonderful and I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Im a retired high school teacher who is currently working as a musician. I play the 12-String Guitar, harmonica, electronic drum machine and I sing as well. In my capacity as a musician I perform regularly at retirement communities ,convalescent hospitals and some adult daycare centers throughout Southern California and parts of the San Francisco Bay area to where I play music with my eight-year-old granddaughter. I have been doing this activity roughly since I left my position as an educator about seven years ago. in the course of doing my work I perform at many different establishments among the very finest of these is Legend Gardens, located in Palm Desert California. That facility is absolutely gorgeous , extremely clean and landscape beautifully. The staff is very friendly and extremely conscientious with regard to the residents dwelling in the facility the staff members treat those residents with the upmost consideration and respect never treating them in a condescending manner this is true regardless of the fact that the residents as a consequence of their physical and mental condition can sometimes behave in a very childlike manner. The staff members with whom I work very closely at the facility is the engaged Life Director Isabel OKane. She is among the most friendly and competent activity directors that I have encountered during my entire career. She is always extremely polite and respectful to the resident helping them get engaged with the music that I am performing. she never for example says anything demeaning to them Regardless of any behavior they might be exhibiting at any given moment. She is a true joy to work with many of the residents for whom I perform tell me how much they appreciate her and the other staff staff members. Anyway, if you would like your loved one to reside at a beautiful friendly caring retirement community you could not make a better choice than that of Legend Gardens in Palm Desert, California.
