Excellent quality care...it is an astounding beautiful place ..very clean and the staff and team are so compassionate and caring..the food is excellent ... Family members that come there to live are treated with the highest respect and care and all the residents are so happy there !! The activities are wonderful !!!!

This community is always clean. They are prompt when my mom calls someone for help. This is a smaller community and nice. The food is hot and good she eats in her room a lot but they try to get her to go to the dining room. The staff is so kind, nice and patient. Housekeeping does a good job at keeping it clean. They will do her laundry 1x a week. They will try to engage here to do the daily activities. I would recommend this place.

I have no complaints my sisters stay so far at this community. Everyone seems to be very friendly especially all of the staff they have been great too her. She has no issues with the food they are serving and is participating in the delightful activities they have throughout the week for the residents. Its a great location that is very convenient for my family and I.

My mom is at this community which is close to the family for visits and in case of emergency. It is clean and the housekeeping staff maintains the room. My mom does not join in much that is available, she is still transitioning. The staff are nice and we have had no emergency yet and my mom has no complaints about the staff. We have been happy with the care.

My mother lived at Brookdale for 3 years and my father in law now lives there. I just want to say how much I appreciate all they did for my mother. They made her last years comfortable and gave her a place to call home. The staff have treated us with love and respect. My father in laws health has improved since moving there. Brookdale has been striving to meet the needs of the residents and I would like to say Thank you. You have helped our family more than you know.

My parents (90 92) just moved to the independent llving cottages and they are wonderful. Not a lot of closet-storage (no coat or linen closets at all), but they are darling and comfortable and weve managed to repurpose an old modular system from home that serves a dual purpose in their oversized laundry closet. The garage is a real treat for my dad, as it is large enough for a work shop for his hobby, but alas there are no electrical outlets in the garage - but an extension cord will do for his electric sander.That said, we should have asked to eat in the dining room before signing the contract, not that it would have been a total deal breaker - but the service is horrible!!! They have waited for 30-35 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge them every time they go there (and theyve only lived there for 3 days). Then the drinks lady who has the personality of a wet rag comes around and gets snarky if you ask her anything outside of what you want to drink. The wait staff seems totally overworked - possible because the independent living residents are eating in the large dining room with many many more assisted care residents, many of whom cant even talk or understand anymore. But the biggest issue is the food or lack thereof. Our first meal was lunch and we were given a menu listing 2 entree choices or a chef salad. Since my mom doesnt eat red meat for digestive reasons, she opted for the chef salad, after we had waited 35 minutes to give our order. Their next meal was day 2 lunch and there was a beef dish and a chicken dish or chef salad. We ordered the chicken only to be told it was all gone, and all we could eat was beef or chef salad again. Their next meal was day 2 dinner, and the same thing happened. The 2nd entree was already gone. You only have 60 minutes for bfast, lunch and dinner and there are more than 70 residents who have to give their order and be served in that time frame. We were there at the exact start time on days 1 and 2, and it took over 35 minutes to get our order placed. For dinner, my parents decided to wait and arrive 20 minutes after start time - and although they only had to wait 10 minutes to place their order, 1 of the 2 entrees was already gone. This is a big problem! The food, if it ever gets to your table, is good - but a chef salad is a chef salad if the entrees are all gone. We only hope there are plans in the works to hire more wait staff, and that this facility is willing to offer some other choices like simple soup and sandwich combos if they are hard pressed to provide enough food to go around. Not sure if they have a nutritionist on staff, but old people dont need so much meat - its hard to digest.

I think they have done a very good job from the transition from home made very welcome. I think they could have had someone after admission that would show my mom and us where things are like menu, rooms, activities etc. I am extremely pleased with this facility and my mom is getting the best care.
