I am a travel nurse and I worked in the health center for 9 months and the only reason i left is because i want to be with my family for the summer but this is an amazing place! I have been all over the U.S. and this the best building i have worked in. They accepted me as part of their family. Management and office have some fun, wonderful people that i truly enjoyed working under! The nurse patient ratio is top notch! The building is clean and welcoming! I loved the residents! I'm really going to miss this place! Highly recommend for employment and rehab patients!

Family and friends of mine have moved to Rogue Valley Manor over the years and the feedback was always so positive. I loved hearing that it was a place they found purpose. Working with the community has been a privilege. The views are amazing and the list of amenities is extensive. No shortage of things to do, for sure.

I don't write a lot of reviews but I feel compelled to write about my experiences at Rogue Valley Manor. While visiting for the third time we ran into a resident weaving sleeping mats for the homeless who advised us "Don't wait, you want to get your money's worth." Best advice we ever got. We moved into our cottage, which has the most magnificent view we ever had, at the beginning of the pandemic, and felt we were so well protected through the whole experience. As normal life has returned we have more social life and have made more good friends than we had in the fifteen years of retirement prior to moving here. Activities like choir, water volleyball, badminton, the monthly news magazine published by residents, all the activities and classes organised by the wellness department and community engagement office fill up our calendars and enrich our lives. If you are thinking about moving here, do it sooner rather than later. You won't regret it.

I have been at the Manor for a bit over a yeat. It has been one of the best decisions I have made in many years, and I have checked our many places in the five years prior to coming here. What makes this place special is the people, who come from all over, to experience a uniquely enriched blend of activities, both cultural and physical. With the symphony, many regional theaters, parks, restaurants, museums, and wineries nearby, there is never a shortage of things to do in the region. There are many places to walk or hike in the over 650 acres that are a part of the property. I should also memtion that staff are very attentive to the needs of residents and offer excellent service to the community.

I have been a resident since November 2020, when my wife and I moved up here during the depths of Covid. In reading through the comments I notice that most of the negative ones were posted by staff, and many refer to the time when RVM (and all continuing care facilities) were seriously understaffed because of the pandemic. If there are staff here who feel that way today, I haven't met them. In my experience the staff in all departments are friendly, positive, and honestly enjoy working here. Part of that is due to the attitude of most RVM residents, who relate to staff not as servants in any way, but as simply as people. One thing I particularly like about RVM is the village-like atmosphere. The campus is on nearly a square mile of land, and as you walk through the streets or come to dinner, you are bound to see familiar faces and pause for a chat. With that, and the huge number of shared activities for those that want 'em, it feels like a community -- which is more than I can honestly say for most of the neighborhoods I have lived in.

My husband wrote a positive review shortly after we moved in, but now we have been here a year and are in an even better place to appreciate all this community has to offer. He surely waxed eloquent about the beautiful campus, extensive housing options and range of activities. In this year we have also been able to explore the surrounding countryside, wineries, and cultural offerings within easy reach. In short, it is an enriching environment, within and without. Best of all we have made many amazing friends and we feel well integrated into a caring and lively community. We feel we are living our best lives here at RVM. Come visit and see for yourself!

I have lived at Rogue Valley Manor for almost 5 years and am astounded when I see a negative review since I can find so little to complain about! So, taking all reviews with a grain of sand (including mine;), I am happy to report that life at the Manor exceeds anything I imagined before I moved here. There are over 100 groups and activities—all resident driven—to engage my body and mind; multiple opportunities to be on resident committees to advise our administrators on how we would like our community run (and our reasonable suggestions are even listen to!); about 30 fitness classes weekly with personal training and a state of the art exercise gym; and it is just so easy to be social and engaged with 'the most interesting people in the world' (like that old commercial says;) I have volunteered in the various Health Centers where our most health-challenged residents live (it is in no way like a hospital, but more a hotel for those needing medical help), and I am impressed with both the staff and the care. I hope never to need that support, living independently in my cottage-with-a-view, but it is a part of our community and one of the reasons I chose Rogue Valley Manor. Forget these subjective reviews, just visit the campus, and talk to us residents; you will be impressed by the culture of tolerance, camaraderie, and the beauty of the place and can make your own decision as to our appropriate number of stars!

My husband and I have lived at Rogue Valley Manor close to five years and believe it is the best life enhancing decision we have made. We enjoy every aspect of the Rogue Valley Manor community from the beauty of the 640 acres, access to a multitude of physical fitness classes and recreational activities, a choice of four dining venues and above all else are the relationships we have built and cherish with other residents.

I came to Rogue Valley Manor 10 weeks ago and my expectations have been blown away. This place is amazing. Life is filled with a base line of anxiety, Rogue Valley has lowered this base line tremendously. So much is taken care of here with us as the residents in mind. Not having to do all the maintenance, yard work etc. has opened up my days to discover hiking in the Rogue Valley searching for the best vineyard, of which there are many. From the library to the gym, to the dining, all are wonderfully represented by a very attentive staff. We are so glad to be part of this community.

We've lived at RVM for five years and have loved every minute of it. My husband and I are more active than we have ever been with activities we really enjoy, including hiking, pickle ball and a wide choice of exercise classes. We're especially happy with the four restaurants we have and the variety of healthy meal choices we're given. The campus, which consists of over 650 acres of beautifully maintained grounds, is a delight to walk. The highlight of living here, though, is the community itself. We have formed a wonderful group of friends who are loving, supportive and lots of fun. We're so glad and grateful that we moved to RVM.

I've lived at Rogue Valley Manor for over five years. Like most folks who move here, we and the rest of our family felt that we were too young to make the move. Boy, were we wrong. Now we have the time to do all of the things that we want and don't have to be concerned about what we will have for dinner, maintaining our front garden, changing a lightbulb, or wondering about our house when we travel. There are groups and activities to participate in if that's what makes you happy or you can spend your time not doing anything if that's what retirement looks like for you. Believe me, this is not your average retirement community. There are folks from 62 to 104 and some of the centenarians are very active as well. We've made and developed so many friendships here and we really can't imagine living anywhere else. Most of all we know that if the time comes when we can't live independently, continuing care is available right here on our campus. It was a good choice for us...no, it was a great choice.

We moved here three years ago, bang in the middle of the Pandemic, before immunizations. That didn't stop other residents from dropping off home-made muffins, mason jars of soup, bottles of wine, countless welcome cards and flowers at our doorstep. "We are truly sorry we can't meet in person yet, but we're here for you to answer any questions you may have and help you in any way we can," was the gist of most of the notes and phone calls. Already, I was happy to be living here. The sense of community is strong. We've made so many friends - such an interesting group of people. Before we ever moved here, we interviewed almost 30 random residents, asking whether they missed anything from where they lived before. I asked them what disappointments they've experienced, since moving to RVM? I asked many questions about their everyday lives here. The unanimous answer we got was "Nothing, really that we can think of. However, if we had known how rich this portion of our lives would be, we would have moved here five years earlier." Based on that, my husband and I moved in when we were 67 and 69. We have not regretted it at all. Never thought my retirement would be this much fun, this rich and this active. I feel like I'm 45 again.
