My father moved to Horton Plaza in July 2025 at the age of 99. His memory is poor, uses a walker and needs medication administration. Both the staff and residents welcomed my dad, making the transition easy. The skilled Personal Care (PC) staff is knowledgeable, efficient, caring, kind and respectful, a dynamic team. The residents are very friendly and supportive of one another, exemplifying this assisted living facility is well managed. Horton Plaza is well maintained and very clean, one of the reasons I chose this place for my dad. My father's studio features an open floor plan that feels airy and inviting, enhanced by a new rug that adds warmth, comfort and a sense of cleanliness. The bathroom is also spacious and thoughtfully designed, with multiple safety grab bars in the shower and next to the toilet, providing both accessibility and peace of mind. The facility is beautifully decorated with comfort in mind, built around a lovely spacious courtyard surrounded by a serene landscape. During Christmas, the property's interior and exterior areas were truly magical-twinkling lights on the ceiling, Christmas trees in every corner, every floor. The moment I stepped into the entryway, I was transported into a winter wonderland, filled with festive cheer. The PC staff customized my dad's activities-exercises, gym work outs, weekly scenic drives, and outings my father can participate in. There are many other wonderful activities offered here like painting, wreath making, holiday cards to name a few. In addition to all this, there are wine pairing events, holiday buffets, trips to local restaurants, theatres, casinos, famous landmarks and much more. On top of all this, Horton Plaza hosted a memorable 100th birthday party for my dad with stylish invitations, festive decor and a delicious cake made by the in-house chef. My dad was overwhelmed and had so much fun, I was deeply moved by this gesture of care, love and understanding of the elderly, for my dad. The dining room is open 11.5 hours with a nice selection on the menu. The dining room staff welcomes my dad by name and knows what he likes to eat! His favorites are the traditional breakfasts, fish and chips, spaghetti and clam chowder. I feel fortunate to have found this gem of a place.

My friend is moving in she was my schoolmate she told me to look at the pictures of Horton Plaza I think it's just awesome maybe someday I'll be moving there!!!

I have had businesses in the Senior Care Industry for over 30 years. In my time of doing business I have never witnessed such a wonderful place such as Horton Plaza. They are so kind and wonderful to their residents and their food is amazing. The activities are curated in such a way, to truly bring joy to their residents lives. I would highly recommend Horton Plaza. Danielle Stovall the General Manager does an incredible job of running her community and Erin Osuna, Horton's Personal Care Director is so loving and empathetic to the residents that are in her care. Per "Corporate" only five visitors are allowed in on any given day for the entire building. It has made it difficult to help a friend move in and get settled if you don't get one of the five visitor slots for the entire building. I assume this is a COVID protocol and may end soon.

My mother has been at Horton Plaza for 18 years. The staff are the best. I can't express my gratitude for the fortitude that they have exhibited during the last several months during quarantine. Their foresight and adaptability has kept my mom safe with grace, kindness and dogged determination.
