I gave 5 stars because the facility, care and staff, since 10/01/2022 has been that great!! I moved my mother from her home in Alaska to Brookdale after a year had passed since my husband and I inquired at Brookdale. I have met with and spent time at length with just about everyone at Brookdale City Center and Town Centers. I also was able to meet and spend time with the residents at both places. The staff has been attentive, caring and exemplary in the last month and a half. It has been a difficult adjustment for my mother and the caring staff have been helping her daily! I know I made the right choice in placing her there. I have made friendships with some of the staff and we keep in touch. I know when I go to visit, it will be like visiting family that are caring for my mother.

They are okay. My 97 yr old aunt lives here but she told me she wishes she lived back at a nearby facility down the road. She said the caregivers were friendlier and more attentive. She said there were few smiles from the caregivers at Brookdale and maybe they didnt like their job. I live out of the area and when I call there to inquire how my aunt was doing I seldom would get a call back. If I did get a call back it was a day or two or even three days later. So frustrating when she is bedridden and you want to know how she is. I gave up and now rely on her one of her friends who visits frequently for reports of how she is doing. The gal who runs the place seldom takes her calls and you have to leave messages with the receptionist who would tell you she would leave the message right on her desk where she would be sure to see it. Well, you still wouldnt get a call back so that didnt work. She also didnt have VM so you couldnt leave a message. Can you believe it? So you are playing phone tag. Its like living back in the 90s . She is so busy she says but SO AM I . This is so old school and unprofessional. Everybody has VM these days so why doesnt she? Hopefully that has changed by now. I know this isnt the best review but when your elderly relative is paying $6000 plus a month there shouldnt be any complaints!

I really like the tour of Brookdale McMinnville City Center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The community was clean and well-maintained. My husband had the final say so and he chose another community.

We toured this community. We did not like the person who was giving us the tour. They did not seem professional. The community did not have the feeling that we wanted. The community could use improvements in the cleaning and the odor. This felt like a nursing home for the care. We wanted a lively community for my mom.

I like this community for the excellent care for my mom. The staff is always active for the care for my mom. The meals are very good with a nice variety. They do offer the residents to get involved with the activities. The environment here is outstanding. We would highly recommend this community for the good care and value to other families.

I moved my 95 year old father here from Napa CA. The assisted living community is very good. The staff has regular activities for everyone. Residents are invited to attend in case they forget. The staff is composed primarily of people who are good caring people.I can see there is a continual improvement program in place and active. .Integrating to this facility has been quite successful for my Dad. He is content and feels safe and surrounded by friends. Can't ask for more.

My grandma moved into Brokkdale December 2014. I am always so impressed with the warmth of staff, genuine care for her, excellent communication and coordination of care with their office staff and PT dept. our family is so thankful for Brookdale! All the residents are smiling when I see them and the place is lively, clean, and homey. I Definitely recommend this as an option for you or your loved one!!!
