Prairie House is a welcoming, and a well run building. The staff are friendly, caring and supportive. The food is great and there are activities that happen daily to keep everyone engaged.

There’s a new team at prairie house and it’s night and day different than it was. They are great problem solvers, proactive caregivers and have an exceptional activities director. The food could be better - but it isn’t terrible and they’re doing a great job appeasing the residents they have.

My Dad went to Prairie House to transition to Heaven. I honestly could not think of a better place for him to go. The staff that is there in Memory Care was so caring and kind and helpful. There was not any moment that my Dad had there or our family that was not wonderful Thank you for your love for Pop and for us and we helped him go home to Jesus.

This assisted living community has made a remarkable turnaround under its new leadership. Since the change, we’ve seen clear improvements in clinical outcomes”better care coordination, more consistent monitoring, and fewer health issues overall. The leadership team is present, communicative, and focused on quality, which shows in how the staff works together. Our family has real peace of mind knowing our loved one is in capable, compassionate hands. Highly recommend.

The Prairie House reviews are a joke. Most of them go back to 2018 through 2020. It's very fault and very misleading. Prairie house is a disaster in all categories. Don't even consider moving your loved one in there. I can tell you from experience I lived there for 6 years before I walked out one night on Halloween 2025 with nothing more than my coat and my shoes and I said I can't take it anymore. The executive director at Prairie House is a joke. They would be better off with artificial intelligence. You want to ask questions, I'll give you the truthful answers. My Husband has been in Memory Care at Prairie House for 1 year now. I can not say how much I appreciate all the loving care he has been given. Placing a loved one is a hard thing to do, but I got so much loving support from the Administration Staff and the Memory Care Staff. The year has gone by fast my Husband has settled in and I feel so much love when I walk into the Front Door of Prairie House and a lot of love when I walk into the Memory Care Facility. I can not give enough praise to everyone there for all the care they give. My family is small and in other states but I am so happy to say I now have a big family at Prairie House. I visit often I know all the residents names in Memory Care I love them all, it makes me feel so good to see all the loving care they get. Thank You, Zetta F
