The facility was very clean and beautiful. We were told it was recently remodeled in January. Beatriz gave us a wonderful and very detailed tour. She answered all of our questions. My aunt even got to sample the lunch they served that day and loved it! They did not have any activities going on at the time due to the COVID lockdown, but I did get to see the activities schedule. It seems like they would normally have several different activities throughout the day to keep the residents occupied. I think my aunt would be very happy and well taken cared of there.

My husband and I toured Avamere Hillsboro a few weeks ago. Beatriz was very helpful and understanding. She worked extra hard, explaining things to us, making calls to Ron's dr. and case worker. We knew nothing about nursing homes. Ron was admitted to Memory Care Oct. 1, 2024. All the staff are very kind, compassionate, and sweet. Ron's room is very nice, he has 2 windows looking out to the courtyard. I highly recommend Avamere Hillsboro. P.S. The food is really good. I had a meal with my husband one evening. We were impressed. Ron is getting the absolute best care and we feel blessed!

Avamere is great, but there is a disconnect in what they advertise for Independent Living. They say residents receive 24-hour emergency care, but this is not the case. There is no call button if they have an emergency, and staff hesitate to call 9-1-1 if there is an emergency. If they are not going to provide emergency care for those in independent living, they need to change their advertisement.

My sister moved in on May 20th of 2024. Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive. We both think she will very happy here at Avamere!

Had the chance to tour the community a few weeks ago! Was absolutely impressed. The staff were so warm, and welcoming. The community is well maintained. There units are large, light, and bright. If your looking for a independent cottage style apartment homes YOU don't want to look any further, and the fact you can age in place, and never have to leave, the community you call home and can transition from independent into there assisted living and or, all the way to Memory care was a huge bonus when looking to make a choice to move your love one in to a community! WAY to stand out Avamere Hillsboro.

I recently had to move my 90+ aunt & uncle from their assisted living home to a facility that provided memory care for my aunt. I was looking for a place that would accommodate my aunt and would also have onsite assisted living for my uncle. I wanted him to be able visit with his wife of over 77 years, whenever he wanted to. I had narrowed my search to 3 homes in the area that looked promising. Once I had contacted all three, Avamere started to really shine. The contact person I dealt with was Lindsey Hinkle, and she was the single-most reason I chose Avamere. She took the time to go see my aunt and uncle, and assess their needs. She referred me to a moving company that specializes in moving seniors into and out of assisted living. (Under covid regulations, that isnt easy.) And since my aunt and uncle moved in, shes been very involved with me and the rest of the staff, to be sure that this elderly couple is getting all the services they need. I feel communication is very important, and Ive always received the answers Ive needed in a timely fashion. The entire staff that Ive dealt with has acted in a professional and caring manner. Im totally impressed!

My Aunt and I took a tour. They were so welcoming and the facilites are top notch. We loved the semi-independent living that creates a win-win for my Great Aunt and Us. Its sad to see the reviews of the past. We have moved in and so happy with our choice! My Great Aunt has her apartment and all the support she could need! Thank you Avamere for the quality of life you have given to her! She has nothing but compliments for the staff and couldnt be more grateful!!!

I work in housekeeping though a contracted in company for this build and I just love its atmosphere. Every staff member knows every residents name and honestly have a harder time remembering their room numbers. From administration, to the care staff and kitchen, I have seen everyone who works here stop and talk to the residents about one thing or another. Dogs, coloring pages, activities and fun family stories. This community runs, acts and is honestly like a family unit.

Person-centered care is our focus and we take the time to get to know each resident we have the privilege of caring for. We have taken every measure possible to keep EVERY SINGLE resident COVID-19 free since the onset of this pandemic, while still ensuring that each resident has an ample amount of available activities to join in on and can safely visit with their families! My father has lived here for over a year and a half and he really likes it. The care staff, adminstrative staff and dining staff are all very friendly, helpful and prompt. The facilities are clean and comfortable and there are many activities and events for the residence and their families. I highly recommend Avamere at Hillsboro.

I dont have personal experience with this facility, but I have been looking around to find one. This is what I read about this place online. I am definitely not putting my mother here. I found this info through the Oregon Department of Human Services. I definitely recommend people look there when searching for a care facility.
