This place is where a former dear neighbor of mine has been for awhile, and even though I’ve driven past this place for years, I had never noticed it. After noticing that there were no preprinted praise sheets, only grievance sheets, I knew that this review was crucial. ALL of the staff with whom I have interacted here, have been friendly, courteous, smiling, hardworking, considerate, and welcoming. My dear friend is happy here, as much as one could be if this is where one needs to be, and the place is a continuous stream of caring staff, including doctors and other medical professionals with whom I have met. This is a place where smiles, reassuring nods, even laughter, can be seen and heard. I hope someone includes a box filled with praise forms for others to complete. More sincere compliments, rather than grievances, would be more beneficial. As my mother would say, Look for what is good rather than what is bad, and it will help you be a happier person, and a smile improves one’s appearance, not a frown. And, the grounds and common areas look well cared for, too. ©

The staff and administrators are wonderful. They take very good care of your loved one in the Rehab area. The food is not the greatest if you are a diabetic. But other than that, it is a clean facility and they have a lot of activities for the residence

From the moment I walked in, the building felt warm, welcoming, and well cared for. What stood out most was the kindness and professionalism of both the administration and nursing teams. They treated residents and families with genuine compassion and respect. It's clear that the staff truly care about the people they serve. I can wholeheartedly recommend Fairlawn as one of the best facilities I’ve ever encountered. Their nurses, aides and PT team are fantastic and the doctors and administrative staff are excellent as well. Nice, big rooms, above average meals and the entire facility smells fresh. Very happy to have chosen Fairlawn for my husband’s care.

My sister came to Fairlawn with a need for increased strength and mobility after a hospital stay. The whole staff from nursing and aides, PT and OT to the business office were flexible and responsive to my sister’s needs. They were always willing to listen to any concerns I had and find a way to resolve them. I would highly recommend Fairlawn if you or a loved one need a skilled nursing facility.

I spent 3 weeks after a car accident. It was a very nice place to rehab.Everyone there we're super sweet and very helpful.Thank you Fairlawn.

My mother was transported to Fairlawn recently after surgery for a short stay rehabilitation. I’ve been so impressed by the level of care and how clean the facility is kept. The downtown Gresham facility she was in the prior year smelled and the care staff sat at a desk most of the time playing on their phones. That’s not the case at Fairlawn where I have not seen anyone just sitting. Also a shoutout to Todd in therapy who truly cares and explains why things are happening in an easy to understand way. I’ll be updating the review as my mom recovers. Update 12/23: resident food is not very good. Most of the staff is awesome, shoutout to Pema who truly cares about my mother. There was an incident with PT who left my mother in pain sitting in a wheelchair for over one hour. The facility did address what happened and PT has improved. I would suggest when requesting special needs or equipment to document the date, time and persons name. I found we have to make requests up to four times before results. Also, if a procedure is ordered, stay on top of it to insure it’s done timely and ask for the results to make sure a staff member is aware if there is a problem. The place is very clean and in the holiday spirit.

Very poor rehab. My Mother was there for rehab from elective hip replacement surgery. She was going to call 911 her first night there. We made her stay and tough it out and she died as a result. I would never send anyone there for rehab. This was 3+ years ago in the middle of covid and they misdiagnosed her with it after multiple tests. Take your parent home and do not send them to this place. Regret that I didn't do so.

My mother has been exceptionally cared for over the past 10 months. The staff here really cares about their residents. So many wonderful CNA'S and caregivers. The front office staff is equally amazing. Thomas in admin and Marianne, the activities director, are the advocates you need for your loved one. We came here, completely overwhelmed by the Medicaid system and they have helped me navigate this new world while giving my mom the best of care. She's made friends, participates in the many activities and has gained weight! She wasn't caring for herself and eating regularly, Fairlawn has properly fattened her right up, just don't tell her that . I love you all and will forever be grateful for the love and care you have shared with my family.

We have a family member that’s been at Cascadia Fairlawn for several months we are extremely happy with the care she has been given. They have been very attentive to her and needs and the staff is always friendly and very kind to her. We would highly recommend this facility for short or long term care!
