Countryside Village is a great place for my Mom. They genuinely care for the well being of the residents. Everything is top notch with a warm attractive comfortable facility and grounds. There are plenty of activities within and field trips too. Everyone I have met is very nice and provides the best care and support for the residents. The food is excellent! I highly recommend Countryside Village for your love ones!

I give Countryside a lot of credit! They took care of their residents during Covid and very few got sick. They recently upgraded the interior spaces and it feels fresh, new and "young" again! The maintenance crew work diligently to fix repairs and keep the AC going in the hot months and your heaters on in the winter. It is always hard to maintain a full staff and keep them long enough to be fully trained, this is a challenge everywhere. Countryside keeps a high bar and has a full social calendar for residents, exercise program, variety of meals, a salon which is very convenient and could easily have been closed, transportation services and most importantly a friendly staff and even friendlier residents. Prices have gone up but, I feel they are delivering an experience and community for their senior residents that reflects a higher standard.

Country side has a 5 star look, but the food is horrible. Many of the tenants shop and cook their on means because the food is so bad. This place is very pricey and it is inexcusable that people who live there have to buy and prepare their own meals. I hope someone from Countryside Village will see this review and hire cooks to prepare these seniors decent food.

I am giving two stars instead of only one because of Rebecca, the helpful lady who worked with us beforehand, and for Rosela, the kind lady at the front desk. Tried to place my loved one here in assisted living. They didn't even assess him, (or even talk with him,) just looked at his medical records and, after waiting to hear for a month, rejected his application out-of-hand without much explanation other than his medical situation was "too complicated". OK, they have a right to refuse admittance, but the nurse who called with the news was so cold and uncaring and unhelpful with any info as to where else I could turn for his future care. I was so disappointed, but after considering it, realized that it was for the best if that's the way they treat people. Also, the dining room was pretty dirty. We ate there and there was sticky stuff on the chair handles and food on the floor. The hash browns were greasy and not cooked all the way.

This is such a beautiful community with excellent staff! It is a very friendly and inviting environment! They have a wide variety of fun and exciting activities and fitness classes! The residents are very welcoming and energetic.

It doesn't get any better than Countryside Village for retirement living in Grants Pass! So many amenities and so much to do. If you're looking for a place to retire in style than you definitely need to check this place out.
