When I was suddenly put in a position to find a place to live I was told about The Elms and after my first visit I knew I'd found my home. My family lives very close and that was a giant plus! But I had no idea how much I needed to be able to socialize with others and the friendly and caring staff and residents at The Elms just made it so easy. I smile and laugh more and I feel fulfilled with all the fun things to do. It's a wonderful community of really nice people and a whole lot more.

I am so thankful to have found the Elms for my mother. The office staff is kind and genuine, the cooks are accommodating and the maintenance team is very helpful & efficient. My Mom has met some special friends there and the pricing is extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!

My mom has loved the Elms! She had been in her own home for over 50 yrs in PA. She felt welcomed the first day by residents inviting her their dinner table, and has made fast friends here. Her social life is so full now, I have seen an improvement of her attitude and health. Very caring staff, I recommend The Elms to anyone looking for a friendly environment for mom/dad.

My mother lived here her last 5 years before passing. She enjoyed the staff and various groups and activities provided by the Elms. She also liked the intown location being able to jump on her electric scooter and get out and go shopping close by. She enjoyed friendships that she made here, and even went on an Alaska Cruise trip with other residents of the Elms! When she passed the staff went over and above to help me thru the exit process. I traveled from Arizona, and packed Mom's apartment up, and never felt pressure, only support from the staff. Everyone here, both staff and residents supported me in this sad time in my life. You are all much appreciated by me. I love you all!

I experience at the Elms a community of caring and compassionate staff where we put our heart into our work. Our residents enjoy activities and outings. There is always a smile from residents to greet us throughout the day as they go happily about their day! I have pride where we work and I value the contributions my colleagues make to our independent senior community. It is a wonderful extended family here at Elms Retirement Center.

We have lived here four years and have been very happy. Residents and staff become like family. The management has been very careful to keep us safe during this covid-19 pandemic and we are very thankful for this. You should consider checking The Elms as your next home!

I have made good friends and can walk to stores, banks, library, post office. Comfortable apartment, good food with salad bar and soups every day. Great affordable place. I am very happy here.

Wonderfully managed living experience with a great dining room, activities and staff. Apartments are spacious and many have wonderful views of the surrounding tree lined streets with the campus of Pacific University nearby. Next door is the Forest Grove Senior and Community Center which has numerous activities for us to participate in. Within easy walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, U.S. Post Office and parks.
