I called and toured so many Independent living apartments for my Father here in the Valley. Most are calling me back weeks later. I dropped into Lakewood unexpectedly and Renee gave me an entire run down of the process even let me FaceTime my Father and tour the facility on the spot. I had So many questions and Renee never made me feel like I was a burden or that she did not have the time. The facility is extremely clean and the staff has gone above and beyond during this transition. Yesterday I met with the Administrator Josh who welcomed me to the family as soon as I walked in the door. You can tell they care and are passionate for every single resident. I was surprised when one of the chefs brought in a snack tray as we went thru paperwork. The food was incredible. I am so relieved to have found my Father a safe, clean environment to spend the rest of his days! It’s about time he enjoys life and retirement. Thank you Lakewood Senior Living for everything!

Lakeland staff was very helpful and informative, easy to get in touch with. They helped with a virtual tour, then rapid Covid testing for an in person tour. Then helped with furniture needs...Friendly and responsive!

Our parents lost their home in the Almeda fire, Sept. 2020. They have been living with family members the past four months. They were on many waitlists in hopes to get them into a new home as soon as possible. It was a very stressful situation and our parents longed for a place of their own. We called Lakeland and they had an apartment! Yay! Stephanie and the staff are amazing! From the first phone call Stephanie helped me out tremendously, both professionally and like a friend. Every staff member we have meet so far has been helpful. Most importantly, our parents are so happy!

This is a wonderful community facility in Eagle Point! They have very kind, caring personnel, and the whole process for getting my mother into her new home was seamless. From administration, to nursing staff and even the chef!, they have made her feel so welcome! My mother takes pride in her apartment: its very clean and well laid out, and she has ample room for all the things that are so dear to her. She wasnt expecting it to feel so much like home. And it am constantly reminded how delighted she is with her gourmet meals! The location of Lakeland is ideal: walking distance to the bank, post office, her favorite cafe, the Senior Center, and grocery store. This facility couldnt be any more perfect for my mother!

These fine people have gone above and beyond in the care and commitment given to my mother, who is disabled. The Direct, Josh, has not only been closely involved in her care but also finds the time to answer all my questions and concerns as well as comfort me due to the stress and worry I experience over my mothers health and safety in my absence. I live across the country so I literally rely on the entire staff for the care and comfort of my mother. I have to give a mention to Sy, shes one of the care givers that has worked with my mother. She has been so helpful! Shes been a gift! Thank you Sy and thank you Josh and everyone else that assists my mother with all of her daily needs. I dont know what my mom or I would do without you!

Definitely a nice place. very clean and the staff is very friendly and absolutely passionate about what they do. If youre trying to get visitation they are only letting family members visit right now. only one guest can have visitors at a time and theyre allowed up to two visitors. So definitely make an appointment and the screening process is really easy and worth it. Its so nice to see people who are sacrificing their time when they can be at their families on Christmas, helping our loved ones who have to be placed in home to be looked after because were too busy with our daily lives. Thank you very much for all you do to help our loved ones and keeping them safe

My experience with Lakeland has been a very good one. It was a very lengthy process to get my dear friend placed there. Stephanie Walker and the rest of the staff were very helpful in helping us achieve our goals. The move in process was exceptional, everyone pitching in to help. Tara, the nurse, was also very kind and supportive. I can rest easy now knowing that my friend is in a safe, pleasant environment.

I am not a person that writes reviews, however Lakeland Senior Living Impressed me so much I would feel guilty if I did not say a few things about having my dear Mother in their facility.Although Mom has passed recently. The care and love she experienced from the caregivers was outstanding. In my Moms final days I stayed at the facility on the independent living side. Now, the staff from the Administrator (Josh) the Housing Director (Stephanie) to the regivers,which I truly admire. These people to me are Heroes to me and love them to death. Theyre just good people, that love what they do.I call them Friends.Thanks for making my Mom happy!Mark Richardson

My mother-in-law was very well taken care of here for almost 3 years. The staff is very kind and attentive. Before Josh took over last year, we started to have some problems, but after meeting with him and the head nurse, we were given both of their personal cell numbers and were encouraged to give them a call whenever any issue arose. The issues were minimal since then, and were taken care of almost immediately when my mom-in-law or us made them known. When our mom passed away last weekend, we have received nothing but support and kindness from everyone there. The staff really has loved our sweet mom like she was their own. We are very grateful.

My mom is the matriarch of our family. She has been the center of our world for 57 years. She has always looked after everyone else. We are extremely protective over her and where she would spend the next few years of her life. From the very beginning Lakeland has been an answer to prayer. I mean that literally. It was very difficult to make the decision to go in this direction. It can be painful. The staff at Lakeland of Eagle point have ,from the beginning , bent over backwards for mom and for us. There has not been one person who has gone to moms room to help her that has not made her feel loved and cared for. Not one person has ever been impatient with her . They have always let her know she is no trouble. As time went on and it was clear mom needed hospice , Josh , the administrator went way out of his way to make sure all the plans for mom went into place. He worked with the hospital team in getting her home and into the hospice program. The CNAs , med techs and housekeepers all put their hearts into making sure mom is comfortable . This review is probably longer than most. This is personal for me. I have so much gratitude for all the staff. Josh , The girls , the guys , the cooks even all have played a part on moms life. I have heard the staff say that their administrator Josh does a great job of giving the staff positive reinforcement. It shows. I could name names but I am afraid Id leave someone out. They all work together very well. My heart is eased so much in knowing when I have to come home mom is in the best hands possible. Thankyou ! You have our undying gratitude ♥ Laura Gylfie Altmann

Where my mother-in-law lives is extremely important to us. She deserves all the love and kindness the world has to offer. Therefore, we were picky about here we wanted to put her.We looked at various places, some more beautiful than others. We chose this facility and are extremely happy about our choice. First of all a shout out to the staff and residents, you were all so friendly. Very important to me, it shows the residents are happy with the staff!My mother-in-law has also commented on it.Secondly, I must say that Stephanie Walker, Community Relation Director, has the patience of a saint. She was remely attentive to my various requests and resolved them quickly. Gotta talk about the food..AMAZING! The chef and his staff are incredible...I have snuck bites of her food...Holy cow, once COVID is over, we will be gladly joining her for dinner :)!

When we put my mom in there The staff was so nice but once settled they were completely different and never even said hi when you came through the door. It definitely had a smell of urine most days. The food was fair, housekeeping really lacked and so did laundry services. The place did feel safe and the studio was comfy. More cons then pro but not the worst place I’m sure.

I do not think there is very good communication. When i first talked with them about putting my loved one there they were enthusiastic, but I have not seen half of what they said they would do. I have asked 3 times for a statement for the bill and they still have not given me one. They messed up his medication as well.

They did really well. The community could start encouraging activities. My mom liked it because it was the most accessible. She liked how she was treated well. The community was well kept. The staff were all very friendly.
