Musical Retirement Home is an amazing resident centric facility that feels like a family. Ivgeni and family are so caring of each resident- amazing meals, inclusive engaging activities daily and a focus on music and the importance it can play with our well being. I am so impressed at the high level of care Mom receives at the home. Truly a special place- highly recommend if you are looking for a place that feels like home.

Since all of these reviews are of the owner, not the facility, I think it's important to know what is actually going on in the home. The staff (as of January 14, 2022) are very kind and caring. They are overworked as all staff on the front lines of patient care are and could use more staff. However, their current conditions seem manageable and they engage with the residents in a positive and caring way. The food is well prepared and it is very appropriate for the residents both from a nutrition side as well as from a dietary restriction (allergies, intolerance, etc) perspective. The safety lights need to be updated, and the residence could use a generator in the event of power outages, but overall, I am very pleased with the care that my mother has received up to this point. I look forward to meeting the new owner and hope that they do not make changes too quickly and without having an opportunity to experience the current way of doing things, because as with any ownership change, staff and residents are all concerned about changes. Cheers to the future, and hopefully in 12 months time I can write another positive review!
