It is with great sadness i am leaving Stamford Estates. Stamford is for independent living and unfortunately my health is failing me and it is time to go where there is more care. The staff at Stamford are all very caring. From the GM to the dishwasher. The wait/housekeeping staff are great, TAMMY put up with a lot from those old people that are often grumpy. There are 4 ladies that need special mention Kim the housekeeper who cleaned my room once a SHERRY the Bus driver. PAULA the entertainment director. And last but certainly not least TAMMY, the second in command who's skills at people (especially seniors) are beyond caring and diplomacy. These 4 have made my stay at Stamford welcoming caring and FUN. Thanks to all the staff for all your caring and kindness Margaret Parker

I recently spent a very pleasant afternoon at Stamford Estates having lunch and a tour. The food and service was excellent and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The facilities were spacious and super clean. From what I saw, I would have no hesitation in recommending it as a retirement destination.

Went to visit a friend and play cards with a group of ladies. We were treated to a delicious lunch. Ryan and his staff were friendly and extremely helpful. What a pleasure! We will all be returning next month to play cards again. Got to see one of the rooms. Very nice! Everyone we met was so accommodating.

A friend has recently moved into Stamford Estates and invited a group of us to lunch and to play cards today. We checked out her new home. Her rooms are spacious, bright and beautiful. She is very happy with her unit and the staff. Stamford served the group of 14 of us a fabulous lunch then a private room to play cards. We had a wonderful day of cards and laughter. So pleased to see our friend settling into her new home with encouragement from the friendly, attentive staff. They made all of us feel welcome. What a wonderful place. A friend of ours moved in and is extremely happy. We had a card party at Stamford Estates and wow did they accommodate us! Served us a beautiful lunch with homemade cookies for dessert. Way more than we expected. Everyone was so kind to us and the food was fantastic. Shoutout to Ryan for checking in on us to make sure we were all happy and they even had a raffle for us ladies and donated a gift certificate to a local restaurant as a prize. Highly recommend this lovely place.

Very nice facility with wonderful friendly staff who make you feel very welcome. Kevin the Chef made us a wonderful luncheon . Ryan was very accommodating and helpful and Sherri who we meant on entering the residence was very friendly and showed us where our group was going to be for lunch. Overall I would definitely give everything a 10 out of 10. Thanks to all the staff for a fun day and I am happy my friend Marnie O'Kell lives in such a lovely place with very caring staff. My parents just moved to Stamford Estates in March. It was such a big decision and scary, wondering if you made the right choice. We already love Stamford Estates. Their apartment is cozy and spacious. We love that the extended family is welcome to come and go as we please. Tammy has been extra helpful, with extremely last minute dining, for several people (and even set us up in the special stand off family dining). We also booked the social room last minute for a family pizza party and pre-booked it for an Easter luncheon, for our family of 20. All the staff from entrance, to dining and cleaning and maintenance are so friendly and welcoming. It is noticed and appreciated. Finally I must mention the my Dad loves the underground parking! Woothoot, what a great first month! Thank you.

Hi. I am a resident here at the Estates I call it. Have been so since April 5,2020. I left a country home quiet by myself for an experience of my life The estates are friendly safe uptodate on your surroundings. Weekly housekeeping laundry facilities each floor. 4 floors by the way with 2 elevators each floor or if you are hardy stairs It is your choice if you chose quiet or join in a number of activities. Always entertainment like singer Brad Boland. Never lonely. Open door policy management. So close to outside venues. Everything at your fingertips plus a privately owned Estate’s bus. Driver provides medical appointments outings to eating establishments and general. We have a Hairdressor on the grounds plus a manicurist. The food what can I say I don’t prepare it or clean up. Great start to the day breakfast dinner supper alternative choices Great dining rooom excellent serving staff plus we have a coffee chat daily in our activities room plus a bistro with every little snack going. You will not regret making this your home °. Oh yes best part I have my 2 cats Emma and Taylor with me . Hope to see you soon . Update. Going into my 5 plus years residency. Please come look me up and c for yourself. I’m one happy camper. The only way I will leave my home here is feet ‘ first

I needed a safer place for us to live with less work. We have a wide variety of great meals. We had several different layouts to choose from and love how spacious ours is. Staff and residents are friendly, helpful and close when needed. Our second bedroom houses my quilting machines and supplies easily. The building is beautiful and well kept. Underground parking a very convenient add on.

Our mother became a resident at Stamford Estates last year, and we highly recommend them. The facilities are well run and maintained, there are great amenities and the food is wonderful. The team at Stamford is unique - there is definitely a culture of compassion and it's reflected in the personalized level of care and strong sense of community. Highly recommended.

Sean, Ryan, Sherri and team are amazing. The availability of activities and services are plentiful. The place is beautiful and clean. The staff are so kind and caring. It was so comforting to know they keep an eye out for your loved ones. As my mom cognitively declined, this team was on board to lend support and suggestions. I felt like I was leaving a family-like team of brothers and sisters when my mom could no longer live independently. I’m grateful for the incredible personalities (and especially their insight and humour!) .. and the inherent kindness of the Stamford Estates team. They honestly care.. and that’s huge.

We found the facility to be clean, bright, and very well maintained. We also really liked the room layout and overall atmosphere”it felt welcoming and thoughtfully designed. We were genuinely impressed with the environment (food, activities, and sense of community) and the professionalism of the staff we encountered. I would absolutely be referring other friends’ parents and families to Stanford Estates. If you are looking for truly nice places for their loved ones, Stanford Estates will certainly be a great place to live.

My husband and I have called Stamford Estates our home for 3 years. The staff are caring and supportive ; other residents are friendly and welcoming and we are encouraged to be independent, with no pressure to be involved if we choose not to. There are loads of activities to get involved, lovely summer gardens to enjoy, and patios to spend time enjoying the sun...oh yes, love having our apartment shined up weekly and meals prepared, served and NO DISHES to clean up! Happy Days!

The management is accessible and exceedingly helpful. My neighbour moved in here after a lifetime of independent living, and the transition could not have been smoother. She feels welcomed, cared about, and excited to participate in all of the activities available to her. There has been a definite improvement in her sense of wellbeing since moving here. Kudos to the staff. Each time I visit at Stamford Estates, I notice that the residents seem happy to be there.

I've been living at Stamford Estates for 9 months. It truly is a wonderful place to call home. Sean, Ryan, Tammy, Paula Lisa, and Sherri are a fantastic management team that keeps this place running smoothly. The kitchen and maintenance staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is varied and delicious. Many activities are offered to enjoy. I would highly recommend checking this retirement residence out as it checks all the boxes. It is a vibrant community that I am happy to be a part of in Niagara Falls.

I had an opportunity to visit my friend at Stamford Estates Retirement Community for the first time after he moved in, and I was so impressed! To begin with, from the minute I walked in, I was struck by how spotlessly clean and well-maintained the building is. You can see that the staff takes great pride in maintaining the community in top-notch condition. All of the staff members that I encountered during my visit were friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. My friend has always told me how happy he is living here, and now that I have seen it for myself, I can completely understand why. He is always speaking about how wonderful the staff is and how good the food is”and I don't doubt a single word! I also had the opportunity to meet the Manager, Sean, and spoke to him briefly. What a gentleman! His warmth and professionalism shone right through, and it's reassuring to see that the community is in such good hands. After this visit, I have no hesitation in strongly recommending Stamford Estates to anyone looking for a top-notch retirement community. In fact, after such a positive experience, I can honestly say I will be a resident myself in the very near future! Highly recommend!

I've been here 9 months. My only regret is that I didn't move in sooner. I love the facility and enjoy interacting with the residents. The staff are always helpful and pleasant. Sean, Ryan, Tammy, Paula, Lisa, and Sherry work so we'll together in making living here an enjoyable experience. The chefs and kitchen staff, servers, housekeepers and maintenance people show they care by the way they provide services we get on a daily basis always in a positive manner. I would highly recommend this facility for stress free living in your senior years.

I would like to thank the staff at Stamford Estates. My dad moved in about month ago, and everyone has been extremely helpful and patient with us. They take the time to make sure we always feel welcome. A special thank you to Ryan who is always so helpful and always there when needed. I know my dad is safe and well taken care of.

I have lived here at Stamford Estates since June 10, 2024 (38 days) I see this independent living to be the best in the Niagara Region. The management here, Sean & Ryan do an amazing job. All employees here are very friendly, and are the best. All residents of this place are very friendly too. I am very privileged to be able to live here.

My parents made to difficult decision to leave their home of 37+ years. After a few visits to Stamford Estates, getting to know the very helpful staff, having questions answered and concerns eased, they decided to make this their new home. Although they have not moved yet, I am sure they will soon be enjoying life there, playing cards, enjoying social gatherings and living a more carefree life.

Safe and secure living for independent seniors. The staff are friendly and informative and go the extra mile to facilitate access to a variety of amenities and services seniors may need (e.g. meals, laundry, deliveries). Lots of opportunities for group activities including outings on the private bus with Stamford's amazing bus driver. Living spaces are large and airy and kept top notch by conscientious cleaning and janitorial staff. Supportive community of seniors.

I visited with a friend and had a lovely lunch served in their dining area. Stamford Estates is most definitely the nicest retirement home I have ever seen. I got a tour and it's perfectly laid out, immaculate and has lots to offer. Washing machines and dryers in multiple spots on each floor, lovely common rooms on each floor and countless activities planned daily. The menu offers a wide choice of items and to top it off, the food was exquisite. The servers at lunch were friendly and professionally attired. I was truly blown away.

Beautiful home for seniors. Rooms are large and the place is kept in very good condition. I have had the chance to eat here several times and the food is quite good with a lot of variety over the week. The best part is great staff and an activity list that would exhaust even me. Definitely a place to consider and visit should your loved one need care.

My wife's grandmother is here and WOW. This place is beautiful, and the staff seems to really love working there. It is always clean and looks like there is alot for the seniors to do there. This place is worth checking out for your parents/grandparents.

87 year old Dad has been loving living at Stamford Estates for almost a year now. His health, weight, strength and all around well being have improved since moving there from his home, where he was widowed a year previously. Many thanks to the staff who know all the residents by name, offer to help them whenever needed, pay attention to their personal preferences during daily meals in the lovely, bright and cheerful dining room, and remember birthdays and special occasions with gifts and special notice. Special thanks to Steve Wetmore who made the transition process from considering leaving home to living at Stamford a smooth, patient and easy one, paying special attention to Dad's needs, budget, desires and original reluctance to "move" from his home of 60 years. Dad felt at home very shortly after moving in, loves his suite, and enjoys the friendly social atmosphere with all of the other residents. Thank you Stamford Estates for being there at the time of life when Dad needed a safe place to live, in an uplifting, positive and friendly environment, and for always making me (his daughter) feel so welcome when I come from across Canada to visit for awhile. Not what I previously assumed. This is an old folks home. Went out for some Asian Cuisine and maybe a pitcher of their finest but was distraught to discover they would not serve me due to the fact it wasn't a restaurant! Uphauld.

it is a very nice clean place to live...very friendly staff , my dad loved it there...the only thing is be aware when you decide to move out that you might have a hard time getting your last months rent back....you pay for first and last when you sign the contract but they still double dip and take it out again the last month you are there that you have ALREADY paid....l am still trying to get it back for my dad.....and this is the second time it happened to him as he lived there and moved out and back in again.....but the staff is great and the food is great and all in all a great place to live except getting your last months rent returned to you...so they got the last month's rent when he signed the contract, but they also took it out again after he gave his notice of moving......which is unacceptable.....so they they have double dipped..so if you are considering this place l would make sure you clairify that issue before you sign the contract...
