The atmosphere at Nine Mike has certainly declined over that past years. The staff changes like the weather. Over that last 2 years there is not one staff that remains. Management is terrible. Condescending and intimidating to residents, and family members. They also share private information with residents about other residents. The activities have dwindled down to colouring, painting, bean bag toss, and exercises. No outings like they used to have. The food has gone down hill too. Serving food that no one can chew through. No gravy for potatoes and the over cooked meat. There is no professionalism. I would not recommend this place until there is new owners/management. I wish I could find something positive to say but right now I haven’t anything to say. It was a wonderful place when my parent became a resident in 2013.

We would like to say how very happy we are with our Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandmother & Great Grandmother's care at Nine Mile. She has been there for almost 10 years. She is so happy with the food, the social interactions with other residents, and the very homey atmosphere. We are also sad that we cannot eat a meal with her at present as the food is DELICIOUS. The staff are so accommodating at any request we have; go above and beyond. The management of this home has accommodated all our requests & needs. Thank you.

Beautiful clean place, caring people who take a true personal interest. We just love the loving atmosphere they have for the residents,and great social activities for them. Food is so fresh and nutritional, much thought goes into the menu. Highly recommend for any one needing a retirement place with extra help and care.
