Our father has dementia and we were nervous about placing him in a home. Melissa came in on a Sunday, while she was on vacation to give our family a tour. We moved our father in a few days later. Management and staff have been supportive and caring. They provide activities and socialization opportunities for him, which has been great for his mental and emotional well being. There are two choices at each meal and they present a visual plate to him so he can see what he would like to eat. He says they are wonderful home cooked meals. The staff have given our father extra attention and compassion. Always going beyond to answer all our questions. We are so grateful to Melissa, Jennifer, Mary Ann and all the staff at the retirement home for making this transition as smooth as possible for our family. I cant say enough good things about this place. When my uncle passed away my aunt got depressed and her health went down hill and had to move into a retirement home. The staff at rosewood made the transition easy. My aunt loves going on outings and the daily activities. It makes it easy knowing she is taken care of by the amazing staff there and fed nutritious meals.

This is truly a wonderful place. The atmosphere and staff are very welcoming and friendly. When I'm there it's evident to see the great relationships the staff, especially Melissa and Jenn have with the residents.

The staff here treated my Mom so well. The food was great. Due to illness my Mom's stay was only a couple of months, but I knew she was in good hands. I was there daily and got to see how well the residents were treated at all times of the day/night. MaryAnn came to the hospital and advocated for My Mom which was greatly appreciated during such a difficult time Melissa checked in with me several times to see how she was doing. Jennifer, Katie,Teresa and Austin were wonderful with her and even checked in on her cat while she was in hospital. Jodi made her first night there a whole lot better with a hug when she felt lost and confused. I can't say enough about the staff my Mom was in contact with. They were fantastic.

I can say for sure that Melissa is the best. The experience I have had working with her can only be a reflection of the staff that serve their seniors community. Would absolutely recommend and encourage anyone's decision in choosing them for your loved ones.

Our Mom stayed here for respite care after falling and breaking her knee. Rosewood was able to accommodate Mom on the same day we called for respite. She was treated so well, with kindness and respect, by all staff. The staff really went above and beyond to make sure Mom was comfortable and well taken care of. And any questions or concerns we had as family, there was always someone available to help out. Mom's room was very clean and comfortable and she also enjoyed spending time outside in the courtyard. She said the meals and the coffee were good as well. We would highly recommend Rosewood Erie Glen.

I brought my Aunt to tour Rosewood Erie Glen a couple of weeks ago. What an awesome tour! We heard a birthday celebration happening, visited the craft area, admired the beautiful courtyard, saw the chair exercise area, and passed by a game of Bingo that was happening. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! My Aunt was so impressed with the tour, she will be moving in next month!

My Mom has settled into her room and routine very nicely. All staff are kind and compassionate about the residents treating them with respect and going above and beyond. The facility is clean, the meals are good and activities are slowly making a comeback with Covid Restrictions being lifted. I feel very satisfied knowing my Mom is comfortable in her safe environment and they are doing their part keeping all residents and staff safe. Way to go Rosewood Erie Glen Team.

I was so impressed with the administration and staff at Rosewood EG when looking for a RH for my father. Both Mary Ann and Melissa were wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to meet our needs and ensure my father was informed, comfortable and well cared for in all his needs. The staff were friendly and kind and regularly checked in on him in addition to the regular scheduled visits both during the quarantine period and after. The meals were delicious, lots of variety and varied to suit as to portion size and choices each meal. Post COVID restrictions, the anticipated activities and connections with the staff and residents was impressive. There is no doubt that a family member would be in good care in a safe and loving environment. Communication with Mary Ann and Melissa was prompt and they heard and responded to any questions and concerns as/if needed. It goes without saying that Rosewood EG is one of the best homes in Essex County!

My mom has been at Erie Glen for 5 years and she has thoroughly enjoyed her time there. She always told me the food was excellent and she enjoyed the many activities offered to the residents. My mother Charmaine has called Rosewood Erie Glen home for the past seven years. She has been very well taken care of by all the wonderful, caring and compassionate staff. The other residents are very warm and friendly. The kitchen takes great pride in their delicious home cooked meals, and the recreation staff does their best to deliver a good variety of activities to the residents. I am especially pleased with the move to online electronic communication, it's very well done. All in all, my Mom has thrived at Erie Glen and considers everyone there her extended family.
