The Bradley cures loneliness of people who have become alone in the twilight hours of their lives. So much companionship - if you wish, so many fun activities - karaoke (accompanied by lively dance - led by the Exec. Director and the Activity Coordinator with endless energy!!!), magic shows, card games, bingo, bridge, lectures by outside experts, or entertaining presentations by some residents, also new residents' welcome gatherings, birthday celebrations. Gardening, if you wish. Exercise classes. A well-equipped gym. A small library. A small movie theatre where every evening there is a new movie. All in all, a happy place to spend time, alone or with others.

My father in law has been looking for a safe, comfortable and inviting place to live. This facility has all of those along with a terrific staff. We enjoyed meeting Patsy and she has been more than a little patient with us while we work to make my father in law's transition to retirement living as smooth and gentle as possible. A beautiful facility and we look forward to many years of visiting and adventure in the future.

Bright and spacious! Comfortable and well laid out, The Bradley lives up to its name: gracious!! Wide hallways with beautiful artwork. The rooms are well appointed with walk-in showers and spacious closets, full size kitchen appliances. Beautiful common areas, so many activities and special events to keep residents engaged. Gaile here. John and I are long time Residents. Four years and counting!! That's how long John and I have lived here at the Bradley , starting our 5th year in residence. How time does fly!! As John said, "We have been here for four years and can still say it's best decision we ever made. Great place, great staff and great residence. It's like living in a fine hotel at a ready great vacation spot with all the comforts of home" And that is the truth!! We have made so many friends, have had the freedom to continue all the activities that we love to do; (like Line Dancing and singing and...!) We're close to our children and grandchildren and other family members and friends. Plus, there's the added bonus of many interesting and entertaining events provided by our devoted Management. The Staff who cook, prepare and serve the excellent meals, as well as take care of our daily needs, are beyond excellent. They are efficient, caring, devoted and just delightful people to know. Can't name them all but they know who they are! Thank you, Guys!! And, thank you for letting us continue to enjoy our retirement years the way we wish to. And, just in case you are wondering; this is not a paid political announcement!! We just love it here. I have spoken!!

The Food prepared by the Chef is amazing. What makes the Bradley so special is the residents and staff. Once you visit you will understand what everyone is talking about. A really special place. As reluctant as I was coming in here, things have turned around 100% for me. I have met a wonderful companion to share my days with. The staff particularly the bus driver, the trips and adventures are fantastic. All the staff are helpful supportive and good-natured. The design of the building is wonderful bright, cheery and inviting. The dining room experience, and the chandeliers just make it a marvellous environment to eat in.

So, my dad has not yet moved in, we just signed the paperwork today, but, I felt obliged to share that it's been years I've been trying to convince my dad to move out of his big house to somewhere safer. He took one tour at The Bradley, saw the beautiful suites, the amazing Patsy won him over and he was sold. It was so obvious the people who live there are truly happy, and thriving. This move equals more freedom amd independence, not less.I will update my review with more info once he is all moved in and settled. Thank you Patsy for your patience and help.

It's a marvellous place, they take us on bus drives that goes all kinds of great places like the Canadian aviation and space museum, horse races as well as the Mandarin. They also include line dancing in the activity room and national pet day were we made the dog cookies as well as many more amazing actives. I absolutely love Happy Hour which is were we sit down and chat.

I was one of those guys who said "Not me, not ever will I go into a Retirement Home". Then a year and a bit ago, my wife Gaile talked me into going on a tour of The Bradley. The instant we walked in it was a WOW moment. The place was large, bright and beautiful. Two days later we returned to sign up for a room and started contacting real estate agents to sell our home. Two and a half months later we moved in, and now a year later I think of our house sale and move to be one of the best decisions ever! The place is wonderful, the staff kind and helpful and the residents are great! Love this place.

We had a wonderful tour in The Bradley. It is an excellent place for anyone who wants to enjoy a unique independent style living in a five star resort style Community, three Chef prepared meals, great Activities, a bus shuttle service. From the first moment I stepped into the Bradley Gracious Retirement Living and saw the staircase and the bright atmosphere of it along with the dining room I knew this would be my new home and that was before I even checked out the rooms. It also has a gym, library room, computer room and even a movie theatre along with the long halls where we can walk when the weather is not ideal for walking outside around the Bradley building when it is very cold outside. Then the activities are never ending such as bingo, fitness classes, line dancing just to name a few. The best part are the meals which are prepared on site by the chef & served 3 times daily. WOW! What a find!

What a great place to live and work. As one of the 24 hr. live in managers I get to experience the great life style here along with the residents. It seems everyone cares about everyone else and that has led to a real feeling of community that you just won't find in most places. Such a peaceful and lovely location. The decor is so beautiful and a lot of care has been put into your comfort at the Bradley. The staff was such a pleasure, the assistant managers made us feel very special when we arrived and took great care in showing us the place, they were so generous with their help.

The Bradley Senior Residence is a great place to live for seniors. The staff are friendly and efficient and the seniors enjoy everything it has to offer. My mother lives here and I visit her often. She really enjoys living here and the friendly atmosphere, the great food, and the many social activities available. It is very much a hidden gem in the west end of Ottawa.

My mother was the very first resident at The Bradley when it opened in 2019 and let me tell you, what a night-and-day difference we've experienced compared with the retirement residence where she was before! She's written her own review, but I really have to add that life is so much better now for me and my family too (we live nearby and visit often). From day one, everyone working there has been genuinely friendly, helpful, and considerate towards us the live-in management team, the activity director, the bus driver, the maintenance manager, the housekeepers and servers, the kitchen staff (I love the food!). The professionalism and compassion we witness every time we visit is truly inspiring. Heartfelt thanks to everyone at The Bradley!

I recently worked with the team at The Bradley to get my 80-year old father moved in to the residence. I cannot speak highly enough of all of them, Patsy in particular. They were responsive, efficient, supportive and knowledgeable. The residence is beautiful, clean, elegant, secure - I am grateful that my father will be able to live there peacefully and comfortably. I highly recommend The Bradley for anyone who needs to move an elderly loved one into an assisted living arrangement.

Joannie and I moved to The Bradley, on March 25, 2020, just after the Covid 19 pandemic was declared. Our apartment was not ready and we could not move into that apartment due to the pandemic restrictions. But management allowed us to move temporary into a first level apartment with patio so that the movers could bring in our belongings. Of course, we were quarantined. Once our apartment was ready in June 2020, the management team and a few employees moved us in an hour. We chose the Bradley mainly for financial reasons. We had looked at dozens of other facilities, some very comparable in terms of immunities and some with 3 tiers services. The ones that offered comparable services to the Bradley would have cost us up to $1200.00 more a month for the same size of apartment, and most their facilities were not as luxurious. When we visited the Bradley we were very impressed with the building, inside and out. Once we were settled and look around, we were in awe. The railed hallways are very wide and bright, and beautifully decorated with paintings other objects of art. At the centers and both ends of every floors, there are well furnished cozy areas where guests can entertain visitors. But the most impressive parts are the main entrance stairway and the dinning room. The main entrance and the dinning room are cathedral sealing to the second floor and above. The stairway leads to the second floor beautiful library, computer room, big screen TV room and pool room. The dinning room is bright and spacious with numerous chandeliers. The round tables with fauteuil type chairs can seat four persons ( at this time only 2 per table due to pandemic restrictions). The guests are served at their tables as in an hotel or restaurants. There are choices at every meals, although limited. On a scale of 1 to 10, now I would rate the food an nine point five. Joannie was so impressed by the service that, when we first came to dinner after our quarantine, she asked me if we were tourists lodging in a hotel. Well, we are in a retirement home but, management and the staff are so accommodating, they go out of their ways to meet your needs. It does feel like we are in a 5 stars hotel. As for other service and accommodations: The activity room is very large with a dance floor; the cafe looks like a cafe; the guests' kitchen is well equipt; and the theater looks like a theater with rows of elevated seats, a big screen and a projector (that theater is not like other places we visited, where the theater room is nothing but a large TV with chairs); the weekly house keeping is excellent, taking care of all linen; and the activities are well plan, various, challenging and fun. I took my mom there for viewing. She was nervous and hesitant about moving out of her lifetime home and into a retirement home. Patsy made her feel comfortable, calm and eased her concerns. If anything was not ok Patsy will be there to make sure it will be ok. Patsy did a wonderful job of making my mom feel welcome and happy to say she will be moving in soon.

Hi My wife and I moved into the Bradley in Oct of 2019. This was the first residents that we were willing to give up our house for. The dining area is gorgeous and the rooms well laid out. What has really impressed us is the friendly staff and the residents. There are a number of activities that you can take part in as you wish. The management have been very conscientious about keeping up safe from Covid-19. I would recommend this retirement place for people who want independent living.

Recently we moved my parents into the Bradley from their home of many many years. The whole process from start to finish (which took less than 2 weeks) was nothing but excellent. Patsy showed us many units and my mom fell in love with one particular unit and signed the papers that day. All of the managers, all of the staff and residents have been extremely helpful and very welcoming! The residence is beautiful and the food is delicious, I know first hand! Many thanks to everyone that helped with this transition for my parents.

The community bus is available to the Residents operated Sue, a wonderful, helpful Driver. The onsite Management team is available 24/7 responding to Emergency calls if needed. Once a week friendly and hardworking housekeepers clean the apartments, change and wash the bedsheets, towels and serve meals. Beautiful Community with lots of common space.
