My mother lived there for over 11 years but recently past away at 95. Overall, my mother was quit happy with the facilities and services. Like any place there are always a few staff that go above and beyond on there own to make the experience great. She did comment that the first 6 years of her stay was much more interactive and fun. Once management started to change, which became frequently, the facility became less then what it was so more "ok" then great. Overall , she did enjoy her stay. When she past I gave the required 30 days notice and received confirmation. After the lease obligation was finished my mothers account was charged again for the next month rent. I contacted management who apologized and promised that the NSF fee that was charged for insufficient funds would be credited back to her account. It was not credited so next month I followed up with another email and Management promised it would be sent directly to me. To date, no credit has been received. My mother was there for over 11 years so you would think that something like this would be handled properly and promptly. It's not the $45 that was the issue here more about the principle of it and how poorly it was handled and maybe a reflection of how the company really conducts its business. I do not require a response from this review and do not require a refund.

Thank you for taking such great care of my Grandma Madeline Moore whom past away last Thursday. She was well loved at Rosewood Estates and I cannot thank the staff who took the time to care for her these last years of her life.

My Mom has lived at Rosewood Estates for the past two years. The staff are kind and caring and go over and above to help residents and I can speak for my Mom specifically as she is very happy here. The grounds and building are kept clean and beautiful. The food is delicious and they make an extra effort to present the meals in a timely fashion on nicely decorated tables. Everyone is friendly and there are lots of activities should a resident want to join in. The bus service is wonderful and the activities director is amazing. Management are helpful and all staff such as maintenance, chef, wait staff and cleaners are all friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Rosewood Estates.

It is with deep regret that our health has progressed that we have found it necessary to leave Rosewood Estates. There is no other place comparable to Rosewood. The grounds are magnificent. The management teams live on site. They keep us safe and serve us tea and coffee’s at every meal. The dining room is like one found on a cruise ship, very ornate, and beautifully and brightly illuminated. The management, staff and residents are very friendly and very thoughtful. Rosewood is the best retirement home that one could find.

I am new to the crew at Rosewood Estates. And so far I am loving it. The staff and Management are friendly and supportive. They have helped me with orientation 100% and are always willing to help me out with pointers and answering any questions I may have. They treat their residents with the upmost respect and dignity. It feels like everyone is family here and are treated as such.

The staff and managements efforts to keep us safe and occupied, socially or independently has been over the top. My mother has been a resident at Rosewood Estates since 2015. She absolutely loves it! There are a number of reasons why she is enjoying herself. The food is terrific and it's served by the most professional and polite servers ... ever!! The managers are always doing all they can possibly do, and more, to make your stay there positive and engaging! The outside grounds are beautifully landscaped and there are numerous benches and chairs around the premises to encourage outdoor socializing. Melissa, their Activity Director, makes every day fun and full of laughter with a variety of games and activities. Lastly, you can feel the warmth and charm of Rosewood Estates as soon as you walk through the front doors. I would highly recommend anyone interested in a home away from home, to inquire about room availability at Rosewood Estates.

My wife and I have been residents of Rosewood Estates for almost three years. We are happy that, after extensive research from Whitby to Belleville, we chose Rosewood Estates as our new home. Prior to moving, we lived in our own detached house in a seniors' enclave in Brighton, ON. Rosewood's location is ideal for us with proximity to a modern hospital, churches, vibrant shopping and entertainment, a nice waterfront on Lake Ontario, service and fraternal clubs and a variety of entertainment. Downrown Toronto is easily accessible by train and by road as well as the lovely countryside. The people here are fantastic.! The resident managers and staff are caring and available. They have helped us weather the Covid 19 storm and other emergencies, personal and otherwise. Our chef prepared menus are really tasty served with a smile by our housekeeping wait staff. There are many activities and special events provided by our dedicated Activities Co-ordinator.. These include texcursions on our own 19 seat bus (lower occupancy during the Covid crisis) which also provides local transportation for medical appointments or shopping. I was a bit reticent to make the move at first, but now I am thoroughly enjoying the amenities and friendships offered by Rosewood Estates. Iain Henderson

Wonderful Staff and Management (in particular, Helen and Myron Thompson - professional, caring, compassionate!). They are the perfect Ambassadors of everything that is Rosewood Estates. Rosewood was our Mom's home for 11 years after Dad passed. From day one, she knew she had made the best decision to choose Rosewood over any other retirement facility in Cobourg. Being one of the first residents, Mom bonded with others who became her forever family throughout the years. With endless, well planned events and creative, nutritious cuisine, there was always something for Mom and her friends to look forward to. It was comforting to know that Mom was very settled and content in her quality surroundings - Rosewood was "her home". Thank you to all, especially Helen & Myron, for going above and beyond to ensure our Mom always received such kindness & exceptional care.
