I wrote a 5-star review about Aspira Bolton Mills before, but after spending more time there with my mom, I felt I had to write another one. First, I want to thank the entire staff. Every person I've met has been kind, caring, patient, and respectful. You can tell they really care about the residents, and that means everything to families like ours. Knowing my mom is there gives me a lot of comfort. I especially want to say a few words about Jason J. Banks, the General Manager. I've had the pleasure of just chatting with Jason on a few occasions, and I can honestly say he is one of the nicest people I've met. He has such a positive attitude, and it spreads throughout the whole building. Every time I see him, he's smiling, talking to residents, and somehow he seems to know everyone by name. It's amazing to watch. You can tell this isn't just a job to him. He truly loves what he does, and it shows in the way he treats people. He makes everyone feel welcome and important, whether you're a resident, a family member, or someone just visiting. There's a Yiddish word that I think describes Jason perfectly: "mensch." Not many people use that word anymore, but to me it's one of the highest compliments you can give someone. It means a person with integrity, kindness, compassion, and a good heart. Someone who treats people the right way because that's just who they are. Jason is a true mensch. Aspira Bolton Mills is fortunate to have someone like Jason. People with his character, compassion, and dedication are rare. He makes a real difference in the lives of the residents and in the lives of families like mine. Thank you, Jason, and thank you to every member of the staff. The care, kindness, and respect you show my mom and all the residents does not go unnoticed. My family truly appreciates everything you do, and we are grateful every day that my mom calls Bolton Mills home.

Having my parents, uncle, and aunt all residing in the same retirement home for going on three years now gives me a unique, day‘to‘day perspective on the level of care provided”and I can say with confidence that the staff’s commitment truly stands out. No place is perfect, and I don’t expect perfection. What matters most is how a team responds when something needs attention, and in this home, they are consistently quick to make things right. That responsiveness speaks volumes about their integrity and dedication. The health‘care team deserves special recognition. Under the leadership of Rupinder Kaur, the nursing staff delivers fantastic care”professional, compassionate, and attentive. Knowing my loved ones are in such capable hands brings tremendous peace of mind. The dining room staff as a whole are warm, patient, and always ready to please. They make every effort to ensure residents feel comfortable, supported, and cared for at every meal. And then there’s the kitchen”an operation that could easily be its own miracle. Kate Shakespeare leads a team responsible for coordinating meals for more than 150 people every single day. I can’t even imagine the logistics involved. Can she please everyone? Of course not”no two taste buds are alike. But does she work incredibly hard to try? Absolutely! God bless Kate for the effort, the energy, and the heart she pours into her work. Last but certainly not least, a heartfelt thank‘you to Teresa Zin (Office Manager), Tony Armata (Service Manager), and Jason Banks (General Manager). You ensure that not only the residents are heard and seen, but that every family member is acknowledged and treated with the utmost respect. We are about to move my father to Aspira Bolton Mills Retirement Living. We were met with such affection such professionalism and grace by the magnificent Catherine Grosso. As we all know finding a place for a parent is very emotional and one of the most important decisions we will make. She thought of everything , all information shared with us , was not transactional , it was shared with respect and a great deal of empathy. She is an extremely special person and I’m sure the rest of the staff some of which we have met are of the same mindset so we can rest assured our father will be well cared for. Thank you Catherine !

We were impressed with the level of professionalism and attentive care they provided, every desire and need was fulfilled making my mom' stay most enjoyable . My father was one of the earlier residents at Bolton Mills and Carmelina and her team looked after him very well, and they showed a compassion for their residents to the point where my father considered them his friends and trusted them completely. Bolton Mills is a top notch retirement residence in every way from it's look and feel, to the genuine caring, compassion, professionalism and kindness of the entire team. My dad was a resident and he thoroughly enjoyed. He loved the staff and they loved having him. The activities are first rate and they encourage participation during all the festivities, including the recreation room. My dad became a google wizard at the age of 91. He had a great 2 room unit and loved having people visit and showing them around the facility, often trying to get his older friends to come live there. My mother has been a resident of Bolton Mills Retirement Community since January 2019. The residence is superior in so many ways - from the design and footprint of the building, to meals, social events, wellness activities and most importantly, the overall caregiving provided. Employees of Bolton Mills make it a point to build relationships with the residents and provide empathy, concern, attention, as well as laughs from time to time, so that the residents feel special. Knowing that Mom is surrounded by caring and considerate people gives our family peace of mind. Endless thanks to the staff at Bolton Mills for everything they do every single day.

My dad has been a resident of Bolton Mills Retirement Community for the past 2 years. Our family is just thrilled that we found a community for him that he loves. The care and support of all the staff has been amazing especially over the past year with COVID. They have gone out of their way to make all the residents feel special and have really worked hard to make sure no-one has felt lonely during this time. The residence itself is warm and inviting from the bright welcoming foyer to the spacious hallways and spacious suites. He is enjoying his meals in the dining room and the little treats the hospitality staff bring to their suites now and then. Thank you to Bolton Mills and Esprit for everything they do in this community. I would recommend this retirement residence to anyone looking in the Bolton Area.
