The Parke has been amazing for my mother! After a fall and broken hip a few months ago, I had to make the difficult decision to move her to an assisted living from living independently. Everything has been so positive since she moved in: the staff, the residents, the layout of the facility. I believe she is better off now than she was before her broken hip and it has everything to do with where she is living. Thank you to all of the staff at The Parke!

The fact that The Parke is locally and family owned makes it stand out from all the rest. The owners truly care about not only the residents but the staff too. I have worked at the Parke now for 6 years and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. In fact, when I retire, I'll probably move in. We have the best of the best here as far as management and staff are concerned. We are one big family. If you want quality care for your loved one, please look no further. My Mom has lived at the Parke for a year and she absolutely loves it!! They allow her to keep her small dog which made a huge difference in the facility we chose. Everyone is very kind and loving to my mom, and she always is clean and well fed. The staff contacts me if anything happens that they think I need to know. The facility has lots of different activities during the weekdays from about 10 AM to 4 PM. They keep my mom busy!! They also do my mom's laundry for her and clean up her apartment. I couldn't have asked for a better place.

My Mom and Step dad recently moved to The Parke and we have been there multiple times in the past few weeks. The staff from day 1 have been awesome to my Mom and StepDad and our family. The place is amazing. It's always very clean and staff available to answer questions and helpful to residents and their family. We are very excited they are settling in and hope they continue to settle in. The staff and residents are friendly and everyone seems happy to be there. If you are looking for a place in Or around Tulsa for your parents or other relatives, this is an awesome place and look forward to spending time there with my Mom. My mom chose The Parke because she said it felt more like a home than a hotel. We had a great experience with getting my dad into the park. Brett Baker helped us immensely with all the information that we needed and insured that dad would be taken care of and checked on. And that he would have the care that he needed for his situation. Brett was very knowledgeable and caring and understood our concerns. Likewise all the staff that we have encountered has been helpful and caring as well.

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting The Parke Assisted Living for my grandmother a while back and had the most pleasant experience. I crossed paths with a woman named Barbara and she was such a joy to talk with. You could genuinely tell her love for her job and for the residents, as she checked on them as we passed. Not only did the place look beautiful, but seemed fun and entertaining as well; with lots of outings and activities to keep busy. We briefly spoke with the management, nurses, etc. Everyone we ran into was just lovely. When the time comes to make a decision, The Parke Assisted Living is at the top of our list. All of the staff was knowledgeable about the facility and the way they cared for their people there really assured us that we were in the right place.

I moved here from another assisted living facility in hopes that the administration, food, staffing, and transportation would be better. So far, I have not been disappointed. My apartment, though bigger than the one I left, has less closet space. I pay an extra $100 per month to have personal laundry service. Even so, I'm saving a couple of hundred dollars each month.

I recently spent some time at the Parke and there is a very good reason why they have 5 star reviews. Residents are healthy, happy and very well fed. The team truly cares about the residents and that's reflected in the smiles you are greeted with as soon as you walk in the door. I had the pleasure of visiting the Parke to assist on an event they were hosting. The staff is great from the bottom to the top. I witnessed the entire staff lending a hand in one way or another, all while making sure the residents were happy and healthy. They really care about their seniors and strive for not only a safe home but a fun and fulfilling one as well.

My older sibling has been at the Parke for the past eight months. I have found the Parke to be a wonderful place for those who need some assistance. Their staff is amazing. They are kind, thoughtful and so willing to help. If my brother was late to the lunchroom they were checking on him and if he didn't feel like coming to the lunch room they brought food to him immediately. His apartment was cleaned on a regular basis, his laundry was folded and put away just like it would be at home. As my brothers health is failing they have stepped up with added services which allows us to keep him at the Parke instead of moving him to another facility. We are so grateful for this assistance so we can leave him in a place that he loves and feels at hom

I have been with the Parke for 14 years I love working at the Parke the owners are amazing in the building often checking in. The staff is great I'm in dining we have a great staff that has been here over 1 year the cook has been here 12 years. The nursing team does a great job. We have wonderful management that truly care it shows. The residents at The Parke are the most wonderful residents, I'm lucky that I get to help them. We are like one big family.

My mother was a resident of The Parke from June 2018 to May 2019, and I was truly impressed. The staff are capable and caring, and go out out of their way to care for the residents both physically and emotionally. My mom felt pampered and cared for, and it was the only place I felt comfortable leaving her. Even as she began to decline, staff met with me to discuss her progress and options available to us. Compassionate, supportive, respectful. Under Michayne Morris' leadership, this summarizes the community of The Parke. Julie Kamalakis, activities director, with her jovial personality, not only brings smiles to residents each day, but is also very understanding and kind to family members. Billy Bailey does a wonderful job planning meals and each is prepared with senior health in mind. Mom enjoyed her life there. With me living out of state, it was always such a comfort to know Mom was well taken care of. Even until Mom's last days on earth, The Parke was there for Mom both physically and emotionally. Carla Rappe , head of Nursing Staff, was so helpful and her benevolent care meant so much to me during our stressful and worrisome times.

Although I have only been here for a short time, I can honestly say this is one of the best places I have ever worked. I originally came to fill in on a temporary/part-time basis in the front-office and now I never want to leave! The Parke is privately owned by a wonderful Tulsa family who are very actively involved on a daily basis. In addition to the wonderful owners, the entire staff is devoted to providing the best care possible to each of our residents. I'm proud to be part of such a caring and professional organization and I would recommend The Parke to any of my family or friends for the best assisted living environment I know of!

Hello Wanted to thank you all for taking such good care of our mom. She has far exceeded our expectations. We really had no idea how she would do in quarantine for the two weeks, although at the end of it she seemed to be getting a bit fuzzy, then The Parke staff stepped in and rescued her today. Again, never thought mom would enjoy crafts, but she came back and used the word "fun"! One can not know if she will always continue enjoying mostly because of her pain and some confusion, but I will take the two weeks we have had so far. She is so positive about everyone and on the few things that have needed taken care of, you all have been great to make the change. Please thank everyone Lori Chancey

I had no idea how great assisted living can be. The apartments are great and the food is good. They even clean our apartments! There is alot more depending on ones needs. There are lots of games to play and exercise classes. I'm so happy that I found the Parke.

I am overwhelmed with the generosity and friendliness of the staff members at The Parke. Such a fun, clean and positive environment! The sense of community that has been established is unlike any other facility I have been to. The residents are visibly happy and engaged in the many events that occur on a weekly basis. It is also such a huge benefit to have OT and PT onsite to help the residents maintain their safety, independence and quality of life! Where do I start???? I have been with the parke 3 months and there is nowhere I would rather be. The parke is a family!! I absolutely love every single resident and staff we are a TEAM!!!!! I love the Parke!! I have been a hospice healthcare provider there for many years. I love the atmosphere the staff provide for the residents. Everyone always has a big smile to share when you are at their community. Michayne, the administrator is AMAZING!! I have known her for over 10 years. She is kind and truly loves the residents in her care. The staff go above and beyond for the residents. I would recommend the Parke to anyone looking for a place to call home.

Review from mid 2020-onward: You can read my below review of how happy my family was with The Parke before COVID. However, we could not be more dissatisfied of how The Parke handled the year of COVID. As a result my grandmother will be leaving The Parke this week (February 2021). First and foremost there was a huge breakout of COVID at the home after the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. There was over 20 cases. It is my belief the virus was brought in by staff. Residents have not been allowed to leave the home and visitation has remained highly restrictive. I was informed that a number of staff opted not to get the COVID vaccine which would put residents at risk. Moreover, I believe The Parke was insensitive to its residents mental well-being by quarantining them for so long. My grandmother was more like a prisoner, quarantined to her room for most of 2020. The residents were prohibited from dining with each other or doing activities together. Family was not allowed to visit for months. Finally The Parke did start allowing visitation outside with masks and social distancing, but by this point it was winter and cold. I recall several occasions visiting my grandmother and both of us nearly freezing on the front porch. Other facilities in Tulsa have inside rooms set up with plexiglass so family can visit their loved ones. The Parke has also run through a number of directors during 2020. It is my belief the facility is poorly managed and its practices not only put the lives of its residents at risk by not requiring its staff to get vaccinated, but their policies are also insensitive to the mental and emotional well being of its residents. One day when I was checking in for visitation I heard a staff member talking about going to the spa. If staff are living their lives as if there is no pandemic - going to the spa, holiday parties, not getting vaccinated, etc. then it was a matter of time before they brought the virus into the home and put lives at risk. My family will be happy to get my grandmother moved. Review from 2017-mid 2020: My grandmother has lived at The Parke since 2017. My entire family has been happy with everything from the staff, to the grounds, to the activities provided. The residents can entertain themselves by participating in wine hour, going to bible study, taking arts and crafts classes, or joining exercise groups - whatever floats their boat! I've participated in a number of activities with my grandmother from handing out candy to children at Halloween, to petting a miniature horse they had visit the residents. The apartments are small but clean and well-kept.

Look no further, I couldn't recommend The Parke enough! It is a phenomenal facility with a great atmosphere for all residents - It is very clean, homey & welcoming. The staff is outstanding, too! The second you walk in the receptionist, Heidi, is there to welcome you! Julie, the activities director is also amazing! She is ALWAYS interacting with the residents and entertaining them. She has also done an outstanding job keeping the residents safe during the pandemic, while also keeping them moving! The director of nursing, Jazz, is SO helpful and nice! She is very knowledgeable and has such a good relation with her residents. She has done an exceptional job keeping the facility safe and germ free! I 10/10 recommend this facility for your loved ones!
