My grandmother recently became a resident, and I visited for the first time today. I was impressed with how friendly, helpful, and kind everyone who worked there was. They really understand the challenges folks like my grandmother, who is experiencing dementia, are going through. The facility is clean, the residents are well-cared-for, and everyone I met there was smiling.

I visited two locations today. The facility looked well kept with no foul smell! Both patients reported the food as good also.

First time visitor from out of state. The staff was professional and very helpful. Someone was immediately available to walk me back to the elder US Veteran I was visiting; everyone was positive, polite, and caring. Thank you so very much

I was there attending a care meeting and visiting my brother. I was noticing the interaction between staff and residents. They would call them by name to let them know they were being noticed. Also they would not disturb them if they were just chilling. One guy was watching the kitchen workers scraping plates. I guess real life is more interesting than TV sometimes thanks again for caring for my brother!!!

2nd floor Memory has cared for our precious mother for just short of 3 years. During that time she grew to love those who cared for her with empathy, kindness, patience and humor. Immense gratitude to Tavia who engaged Mom, drew her out of her room, facilitated early C-19 distance visits, and stayed in touch w- us. For the professionalism of Amanda, Annette, Tabitha, Jennifer and others we are so very grateful. Special thanks to the cast of aides who worked w- Mom closely every day--your patience and understanding were invaluable. Thank you to the entire 2nd floor team: you each helped make a difficult transition for Mom and our family easier. Well miss you. --Dejon Ewing

I have been impressed with the care and attention of the staff at all levels at Via Christi Living. I have 2 grandparents living there currently, but had 4 just 5 months ago. The 2 that passed were different family households and different long term illness declines. Yet, the unwavering attention of the staff in this facility was more than expected. I have been practicing medicine for 21 years mostly in rural ERs. The patients that are transferred from nursing homes are usually cared for in a less than ideal manner. We usually are disturbed on the receiving end. Knowing the hardship of rapid overturn of staff and most of the time short staffing issues it is hard to criticize. I will also commend this facility in the cleanliness, not only appearance but also aroma (does not smell like a nursing home). Via Christi Village - Ponca City has changed my perception on elderly care facilities and I am pleased to say, Your family members will be well taken care of, if the need ever arises. Via Christi takes the health and safety of their residents seriously. Everyone is wearing a mask and the requirement is enforced. Not just a sign on their front door that no one follows.

I had a very nice tour of this community. Everyone was kind to my family, and I. The staff was friendly, and answered any questions we had. The community looked very well-kept. The location was just to far for us to travel, but my tour went very well overall.

I haven't had any concerns at all, they seem to do a really good job taking care of her. I have been so satisfied and happy. It's clean, the employees are very friendly. I am there all the time, I have never seen any one of them turn their head to not speak to me. I could not be any happier it's a beautiful place. I chose it because every thing you need is there, a beauty shop, and a chapel, we also knew people there, and people that had been there before. I really liked that the nursing home was there too, so we wouldn't have to move her again. You can bring your animal here too. The employees are caring and concerned.
