My dad has lived at Silver Elm for over a year. He has been very happy. The staff is wonderful and very caring, and they know the names of all the residents. We have visited Silver Elm many times and that is where I plan to retire. It is a wonderful retirement facility that provides all the amenities of a home. The manager and staff are caring of the elderly residents! The facility is clean and meals are provided. They also have a maintenance staff present to keep the facility running smoothly! There are large rooms where the residents can gather to visit or to engage in activities such as putting together jigsaw puzzles! The residents all seem happy!

My Grandma has lived here since 2013 and I have to say that our family really loves this place. I am here at least 3 times a week and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a great place for your loved ones to live.

This place is wonderful! It always has a clean atmosphere and the staff is always patient and helpful. The 3 meals a day and a washer/dryer in our apartment has been a life saver. We appreciate Calia,Rhonda,Gary and the rest of the staff for what they do. Were hoping to spend many more years at Silver Elm Norman!

The kitchen services used to be great. Now they are acceptable. The dinner meal is a box meal with a thin sandwich and maybe a vegetable. You don't have any choice over what you can order for dinner. I have to supply my mom with frozen dinners so she has enough food to eat. My mom has lived there for five years and her apartment floods every time there is a hard rain. They have tried some things, but haven't fixed it. Now her ac is out and we are WAITING for them to get it fixed.

I don't think the center is taking all of the precautions they should to keep the elderly from getting covid-19. Their food is not very good and they do not have enough help in the dining room to serve the residents or good enough cooks. In the last three months they have had a big turnover in the employees and dining room help. We need to keep our elderly more healthly. They are paying good for the service that they are not getting. I loved the residents and had a lot of good friends while living there.
