A wonderful facility. We toured several assistance facilities and the Waterville StoryPoint was definitely the best fit for our Mom. The care that is given to their residents is amazing. Every little aspect of living in a new home is given the utmost attention for each resident’s individual needs. Moving a parent is a daunting process but StoryPoint’s staff gets 5 Stars for their awesome work and helping us make a tough decision a bit easier.

If you are looking for the perfect choice for your loved one, StoryPoint Waterville daily demonstrates why they are the superior choice for senior living in the greater Toledo area. Having had previous experience with other senior living communities for my own father, I can confidently say that I feel like even though my father-in-law is in an independent living apartment, he is looked after in a way I have not seen demonstrated in any other community in our area. Here is what our family has found most valuable: In-House Partners: Beyond the daily living experience, we find the fact that we can get other services from their in-house partners very valuable. We have at times utilized both their physical therapy and home health partners, and it is just so much easier on the family to have these services available right at StoryPoint. The la carte model for services both allows us to get focused care and save money. Restaurant Style dining: While the food really is good, I think it is the staff who make the dining room shine. Knowing my father-in-law was new, they worked with us to find a welcoming table where he could eat and socialize every evening. It made a huge difference in how my father-in-law felt about moving. Top-Notch Maintenance: Whenever an issue arises, the maintenance team addresses it almost immediately. The building is always in good repair and our experience has been that any issue in individual apartments is taken seriously and fixed. Engaging Daily Life: There is a wide variety of programs and services offered on a daily basis to keep residents active and involved. Interesting lectures, visiting animals, trips for shopping or to visit different local sites make it clear they try to have something for everyone. Genuinely Caring Staff: From the executive director to the Bistro staff, the entire team is incredibly available and actively interacting with residents every single day. They greet you with a smile, take time to get to know you, and are always ready to help. It feels very reassuring to know they are helping us look after our loved one. I really cannot say enough good things about StoryPoint. We came to them at a very difficult time in my father-in-law's life and they were nothing but compassionate and kind to our family. They made what could be a very difficult transition much easier and really went out of their way to help. I highly recommend them!

It is well worth visiting Story Point in Waterville. The care shown by the people who work there was obvious. The setting is open, and airy with lots of sun shining in. The people who live there were quick to tell us they enjoyed living at Story Point.

We feel very blessed to have Dad at StoryPoint in Waterville. After 30 years in Florida, and my mother passing, he made the big move back to Ohio. StoryPoint is literally minutes away from our home which is only one of many blessings! The team at StoryPoint have been exceedingly accommodating. My dad started off in independent living, which was absolutely wonderful, but after a few unfortunate falls, and the very excellent and quick response of the CorsoCare team caregivers, we moved him to the enhanced living wing. He has a beautiful, clean, spacious, home like, one bedroom apartment; wonderful caregivers who are excellent with him as he goes through the changing seasons of early dementia, and additionally, an excellent team of physical and occupational therapist right there on site. It is clear to me that the teams here truly care about those they serve.The camaraderie of the staff with him is amazing. We are beyond grateful for StoryPoint and the caregivers and staff of CorsoCare Caring for dad with dignity, respect, and honor during this season of his journey.

Joe was very knowledgeable and truly has a connection with the seniors in this community and I felt his genuineness as I toured for my mom. Can’t wait for mom’s move and for all the greatness I know she will experience. I am adding to my previous review to shout out the wonderful Caregivers of CorsoCare at Story Point Waterville. Mom is 93 and has been at SP Waterville for about 8 months now. In that time mom has gotten to know the Caregivers quite well and they have also gotten to know her 🙂 Mom feels safe and cared for and I just love to see her interaction with the Caregivers. A HUGE thank you to Morgan, Aireonna, Marissa, Jatara, Nick, Jayden, Crystal, Brooklyn, Erica, and Jodi) (Sorry if I missed anyone) You are all wonderful !! Several members of our family toured Storypoint Waterville for a loved one. The initial response from Matt to set this up was was immediate and was very accommodating to our schedules. Our tour guide and contact after this was Joe who also reached out immediately after we scheduled the tour. Upon arrival we immediately were made to feel at ease. The compassion for our situation was also felt. We definitely loved the community. I say that because everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Joe, our tour guide, knew every resident he encountered. This said to us that staff really do care here. And the community itself was so inviting: a lot of natural light pouring in, light colored soothing paint colors, beautiful large courtyards. We could truly see our loved one having a better quality of life here and enjoying his community.

I can't say enough good things about the care my grandmother received while living at StoryPoint. The care provided was not only outstanding but they treated her with dignity, respect and kindness daily. It not only gave my family peace of mind knowing a loved one was safe but that the environment was so supportive. The caregivers go above and beyond and Brittany and Jamie took time to communicate and make sure we all felt valued and heard.

We recently we needed a place for my brother to move to after a life changing health event. There are several very nice senior focused facilities in our area but we chose StoryPoint after the amazing tour we had with Joe Katich at StoryPoint Waterville. He answered every question, was exceptionally knowledgeable and NEVER rushed us! After my brother moved in, Joe has continued to make himself available with answers to our questions, as they come up , in the event we don’t know which staff member to seek out. My Dad was diagnosed with dementia sometime ago. After researching different facilities, our family decided on placing him in the memory care unit at story point in Waterville. My father was a resident, there for about the last three years, he just passed away recently. I would come visit my father quite frequently over the last three years. He would always tell me that they took really good care of him and that the food was excellent. I really like that they do quite a bit of interactions and activities with the residence in the memory unit My dad was in. If you would decide to place your loved one in this facility, I would highly recommend to allow them to post on Facebook what they’re doing, it was very comforting on the times that I was not there to look at their Facebook page and see all the activities that he was doing that day or week. They even would post live effects. I had absolutely no experience or what to expect from this entire Journey with my dad. I want to thank story point for taking such good care of my dad. I especially want to thank Tara Smith, the wellness Director, she is a very caring, professional and personal person. Storypoint is very fortunate to have her in their organization. The staff at StoryPointe was extremely welcoming from our visit when checking the place out. It far exceeded our expectations and my sister felt immediately at home and in the perfect place. She enjoys the food and loves how clean the facility is at all times. The staff is always looking out for her, keeping her engaged in activities, and meeting new friends. They made the transition very smooth during a challenging time in our lives.

We just signed paperwork to move my mother-in-law into independent living. Appears head and shoulders above other retirement communities in the area. It is more expensive as well, but in the ballpark for similar communities. Mother-in-law is so excited for this new adventure. P.S. they have a new resident onboarding process which as a business owners impresses me as a company that has organization and understands that signing a lease is just the beginning for their residents. When my dad passed away, my mom lived by herself for a while but as the demands of the home and loneliness grew, it became evident that we needed to find a place she would enjoy and develop friendships. After touring several different communities and meeting the residents and staff, StoryPoint kept rising to the top. Although mom wasn’t exactly excited to leave her home, within a couple months, she made new friends, not just with the other residents but with the extremely helpful staff as well. She very much enjoys weekly trips to the store and interesting destinations on the bus, along with the food, the music and the various programming offered. It has truly been a blessing for our family to see her enjoying herself and maintaining her independence.

I cannot express what a wonderful experience Storypoint, Waterville was to my Grandmother. She was not happy about transitioning into a Senior Care Facility but within weeks she was having a blast and making new friends. She was often too busy to even take my phone calls because she was off to play cards or listen to music. She was well cared for and presented with endless options of activities, events and entertainment. The staff truly connected with her and she looked forward to seeing them every day! In a short time, it truly became a home for her not because of the building or the amenities but because she was truly cared for.

Mom moved up from Florida after having some major health issues over the past two years. She has been living at StoryPoint for a year and I believe her quality of life has improved. A selling point was she could have her two dogs with her! Plus the staff is outstanding! It's hard to get a hold of her sometimes because she is always doing something. A resident can be as active as they want to be but they can't be a wall flower and hide. Mom enjoys her new friends. Having her closer in proximity gives me peace of mind.

My dad lived at other places prior to moving to Storypointe. As his primary caregiver, this is hands down the best community around town - staff is amazing, very patient and caring. The food looks and tastes fabulous. Very clean and smells great! I loved being there, it has a positive energy that you just cannot find anywhere else. My mom moved into Story Point in August 2018 and I can't say enough about how content my mom is. I tell everyone about how great Story Point is and how my mom feels safe, cared for and is having FUN. It's such a relief as a daughter to know that my mom is living at such a great place and is being social and active every day. She enjoys trying new things she has never done before and feels the camaraderie with other residents and staff. The building is sparkling clean every time I come in and the food is fantastic! Her apartment is perfect the size for her (especially since she is rarely in it!) and has all the comforts and amenities she needs. Story Point undersold the experience and so far, is over-delivering!

My parents move to Story Point has been wonderful for them! They said they feel like they are on a cruise ship with out the boat! The atmosphere is one of solidarity and teamwork is greatly encouraged.
